Beach Fishing for Bass using a SOUNDER!

- Beach Fishing for Bass using a Sounder. Graeme really gets his thinking cap on with this trip as he tries to capitalise on nothing more than a hunch he has for a shore fishing mark. He uses Admiralty charts, his sounder from the boat, anything in fact to guage the area before he goes. He also comes up with a super-long snood hook rig that he feels might work in conjunction with a grip lead. Does it work? Check the film out...Ideal tips for beginners as it might help them "scope" out their own marks....Sit back, pour a drink and enjoy!

Just watching this before I go to my mothers funeral. Lost her a fortnight ago then my little terrier Tom a week ago. I needed a lift and I knew I could rely on Graeme. You dont realise the light you spread in this world ..thankyou my fishing friend.
A beacon of light in these troubles times...don't feel much of a beacon I've just done an all-nighter at a lake in a freezing wind...managed to get another film so that's what counts..Glad the films have helped.
I'm so impressed with the thought and preparation Graeme puts into his fishing. My preparation goes as far as checking whether the thing I'm casting into is wet or not. No wonder I don't catch a lot.
I was feeling down but then Graeme posted and I felt great!🙏🎣
I swear the same bro!
Niyim Atef I hope your ok man!🙏
Its the bad weather and all this Covid business. Would drag anyone down..Pleased the film gave you a lift.
TA Fishing Yh it’s really changed everything. Keep up the videos! They probably make lots of other people happy to!🎣
@@thecamouflagedfisherman8081 all is well, just need this Covid business to be over.. Was going away in 2 days, but due to the new rules I had to cancel cause of the 2 weeks quarantine they put out the other day!
The exact way about going fishing. You learn so much more by studying the water and working out the best way to fish it. Exactly the way I’ve done it for nearly 70 years it never fails great video giving the info for anglers who are not so experienced
There’s anglers and there’s danglers and you are certainly a brilliant angler.
Well done and well deserved sir!
What a session greame. Well thought out and well executed. Big praise to you fella.
Oh shit I'm on 🤣🤣🤣🤣 put the camera down. That had me laughing . Thanks for the videos Graeme 👍
Great session Graeme. Good to follow the plan from conception to fulfilment, love it when a plan comes together. Really enjoyed that. Thanks for the trip out all the best to you and yours.
Greames hooks are older than most of us watching this. Love it 😀
Don't laugh...never was a truer word spoken...I am still using 40 year old hooks that Alan Bramley gave me from Redditch...guess what...still catching fish..My boat sea hooks are a bit rusty most of the time I must admit.
I used to use them nordic bends back in the 90s, the smaller sizes were great for whiteys and flatties, deep hooked fish wernt a problem as they would just bend out, then re straighten with some pliers.
Great video Graham, it’s always the same, gettin ready to go and boom the fish start going mental lol
Thoroughly enjoyed it, the chat about tactics, followed by the fishing. Bucked me up Graham, like a shot in the arm. Thanks matey
Glad it helped. Seems I might soon be called "Doc Pullen".....helping people perk up in these troubled times...(Nurse where's the Stethoscope and Bed pan ?)
@@TAFishing Just set me up with an intravenous drip, Doc Graeme - Jamesons will do nicely! 😁😁
Ill see you guys again....start packing up....whoosh.............. best end to a video Graeme for ages.
And the sounder theory certainly works.
Perfect, I get home and finish preparing for a bass fishing trip tomorrow and good old Graeme is there making me even most excited to get out there. Haha. It’s a break from this COVID business.
Absolutely fantastic video, probably one of your best. Teaching us to think. Brilliant, more please.
I hope you are going fishing every day now as we'll need plenty of your films to cheer us up during what could be a long, grim winter. As my girlfriend said last Friday "Once a week is not enough!" (I'm quiet and banished to the dining room when watching your films so she has the lounge to herself)
Don't you fret...I am already gearing up for holding films in case there is another lockdown.....Don't worry about films for the winter...I'm working on filling September 2021 already !!
That's amazing again graham keep them videoscoming
Fantastic sesh Graeme..... Get innnn!!!!
Great fishing and great laugh watching. Brilliant work. Keep it up👍
Awesome effort today Graeme! Glad you let us in on all your little tips and insights!
So good to watch you win after sharing all yuor tips and thoughts. Thanks.
Very clever ,you should write a book on finding marks. Appreciate how much time you put in. The best .Very satisfying.
Great fun watching, thank you for sharing.
Favorite fishing youtube channel!
Awesome video Graeme 💯
Excellent video demonstrating if you do your research and think about want you want to achieve you can get the rewards. Epic fishing Graeme, thanks for posting.
Highly entertaining, Graeme. Preparation reaps just rewards. Do please carry on!
Classic "i'll give it 30mi...... a couple more hours" Then ends up going home in the dark! 😁😁
Almost every fisherman on the planet says the same thing 😂🤣
Fantastic size fish at the end of this video. Even I got excited when I saw that rod bend. 🎣🐟
Cheers Graeme. Had a crappy week and was really looking forward to my Friday TA fishing dose. What a session. What lovely bass. Great work buddy.
Pleased it cheered you up...More to come.
Brilliant as always Graham and a lesson on researching the ground you want to fish over, tight lines
That's the best bite I've seen on a beach chukker. Fantastic!
Hi graham it's will from Thailand love your show keep up the great work
Where have you been Mr Pullen? I have so missed you beach sessions. Please can we have some more soon 😀
I use a very similar rig to this for fishing in the surf for tailor and mulloway. A scaled down version works just as well for smaller species like whiting. Great content once again Graeme.
Fair play to you Graeme, worked out nicely for you this time backed with some logical thinking on your part👍
Very satisfying to see all that planning and work pay off.
Fantastic video, good to see you catching your target species, love your beach fishing videos. Just got all my gear and confidence ready to finally go on a solo beach fishing trip for the first time and then we get all of this rain for a whole week haha.
Great stuff Graeme. 😀👍🍀🐟
Great to see you happy again Gramme. 😄
That's got to be a keeper awesome video and awesome fishing always love watching TA fishing
Great video and a laugh good fishing mate
Love your attention to detail. Im getting started fishing. Look forward to more. Cheers!
Love all your vids about fishing tackle shack and home improvements also the one where you took jax Mike's dog out for a walk off the lead with your lovely wife
Nice session there, when the light dropped they came on. Tide state, wind direction and little moonlight are key to Bass fishing.
Great video thanks Graeme - somehow I missed this last week. Some really nice Bass there, and Good info on the rig. I'm reluctant to use crimps as I fish with lighter line, and always worry about the crimps damaging the line. Somebody last week was building rigs with Powergum stop knots instead of crimps, which means you can adjust things to get your clip down length right, and especially if the hook gets bitten off and you have to re-tie another on. More info on those pop-ups please Graeme? Stay safe & well. 👍👍
I think that luxury reel needs a bit of attention 😂
Great session Graham, pleasure to watch ,.🎣
Great program very entertaining, I have learnt a lot, please stay safe
Oh well done Graham! well done mate after all that you definitely deserve to take one of them bass. Keep up the good work I do love watching your sea fishing videos 👍🎣
Looks like your research of the area and theory paid off nicely Graeme! Now there will be 10 people down there when the weather clears up 😂
I love how You think over there across the pond. Keep sharing them great ideas my friend
You never disappoint Graeme! The first thing I do after coming from work is crack a beer open and check if you have a new video! Thank you
After all the work identifying the best spot to fish from, the homework certainly paid off. A nice bag of bass indeed. Thumbs up! Tight lines.
What a classic session and strength of character fun all the way thank you 🤘🤛
Graeme Pullen - Chairman of the dog owners conservation society ...😂
Great video once again... Loved it. 👍
Nice bass well done 🐟
excellent session Graeme :) rewarded fully with some lovely bass.. im still yet to catch one.
Thank you for all your amazing videos Graeme! They really do brighten up my week 👌 look forward to your uploads 🎣
Glad they help..I have no idea why,but we get plenty of p.m's saying the film has pulled them out of a dark area.
@@TAFishing I'm sure it's your genuine positivity and humour 👍🏻 especially for people like myself who because of work commitments can't always get out fishing, so a 40 minute video of yours with a brew is just as good.
Excellent, great session...funny how the harder you work at something the luckier you get ..😉
What a session! Great video again, cheers 😁👍👍
Reminds me of when I used to fish Holes Bay in Poole, right up by the train bridge, catching lovely schoolies and strap congers all night long.. Great fun
That was a great day Graeme better then a lot for your beach session,s .barrie
So right there...one good trip can keep the enthusiasm going...needs to with British beach fishing !
Well done graham. Well thought out I think. Nice bass
Don't overlook the frozen wraps of lug you can get in the freezer at your local tackle shop, bit cheaper too. I got my last bass of 2.5lb on them and used elastic to hold the worm above the hook eye. Great video as usual. Look forward to the next one
That would be the Black lug...I got sold some ordinary lug in wraps from a shop, total waste of money, just a load of mush...Make sure the wraps are in paper, the rubbish I had was in cling film...Learned the hard way.
Well done Graeme,I love your I will not be beaten attitude.if only you could bottle that. put on a shelve, with bottled hindsight 👍🏻🇬🇧
Brilliant, just brilliant!
Excellent video, really enjoyed it. Always learn something from the Rodfarther, 👍
Nice video Graham... I’m like you, seem to start catching just before I pack up to leave... !,,
The old 3 foot twitch, sea fishing style! What a bite that was
Great to see your video sir
Graeme I agree with what you say about dog owners. My Akita is always on a leash and never allowed near anglers' tackle. I've had numerous loose dogs leap at hooks as I'm baiting up, urinate on my gear, and even had one tangle in my lines after the owner threw a ball into the sea even though she could see my lines were there and was warned about the hooks. Dogs and fishing don't mix but hey some don't grasp the concept known as common sense.
I usually have alot to say all I can say is thanks for posting love your vids
Love the dog rant! Mine knows best and heels in, people are thick🤷♂️
A little brain power and woohoo a brilliant session
Well fished Graham, something to be said about age and knowledge
Keep em coming bud.👍 Stay Safe and tight lines, keep it lit.👍
I know what you meen about dog owners sometimes. I once had a dog off the lead eat all my luncheon meat which was the only bait I'd took with me. I explained to the owner that thats my day ruined and I'd have to pack away, drive to the nearest supermarket and by then it would be too late. They just shrugged and did that annoying thing where they talk through the dog in a silly voice! Furious!
Haha..I shouldn't laugh, but I've had it myself...they drop into that high pitched sing-song voice...I know I do it with Mike's dog (which is never allowed to ruin someone else's day)...mind you I have the advantage of having owning 3 dogs so I can speak fluent Jack Russell, they understand everything...Dogs aren't the problem. Its the owners. They seem oblivious that their Saddleback coffee Freejon Frue Cruft's special has just ruined someone's day. Had it on the River Wye last week. Guy saying its public land etc ,I tried explaining that fishermen have to pay to fish, but they don't pay anything..just got bickering abuse from him and his good lady.(Think he needs 2 leads !!)
@@TAFishing haha you're spot on Graeme! Fishermen are taxed, licensed and ticketed up to the eyeballs yet everyone else gets to enjoy there hobby for free! But thats a story for another day.....
that is why we use containers,
I use to fish Pennington Wall in the mid to late 60s. Looking at the video we fished probably another 100 - 250yds further round to your right. The wall is so different now, it wasn't as wide back then. 4oz plain leads were the leads we used even on a big spring tide. Always good a good watch.
Pat wants his pen back 😂
Used to walk with my grandad at Lower Pennington...beautiful spot.🎣🎣🎣
Great video!!
Fantastic..
What a beauty to end the show
Love this channel , has got me back beach fishing after many years . Live in Somerset so been fishing many of the spots featured on the channel :)
Always the chance of a really good fish from a Somerset beach.
nice run of bass mate, thanks for the rig ideas - i like to swap and change tactics cos ya never know! thanks.
Not saying its guaranteed but it worked on the day in question.
That was totally awesome....
What a shame you ran out of bait. Made good use of the last two and a half worms though 😂. All the best 💗👍
Brill!!...I’m gonna try that bait holder type rig with frozen, sloppy, limp black lug cos sometimes that’s all I can get and I usually avoid it. Thanks Graeme.
Wow I enjoy your videos But that was a great video , Fish On ✌🏻
Keep up the great videos
Thank you for all your video !
No problem, plenty more to come ....working on another one right now ....
Master ❤️
You should try the loop rig Graeme, perfect for the type of presentation you're after with those worms!
Another tip is the Navionics ChartViewer. Free for everyone to look at on the computer. Great tool.
Magic.
Loved this video Graeme keep em coming well chuffed for ya always gives me inspiration to go fishing 🎣 Have you ever fished up the East Coast? Yorkshire and the Humber?
A true legend 😊
Hope all is well Graeme. From NZ
All good here, well apart from shocking weather stopping me fishing.....stay safe over there in NZ.
Lead weights have zero buoyancy, they don't get lighter in water as other metals/materials do.
I'm just learning to beach cast and I haven't set up a baited rig.
I'm hoping someone is going to show me how to do that tomorrow.
I appreciate all the information I'm getting from these video's.
Thanks for sharing your experience. 👍🎣
Awesome! :)
I caught 8 bass in a session about 2 weeks ago, all of them perfect condition and around 6-8lbs. What a great sessions it was!
Gary Dodgson look I meant LBS not ounces 😂😂 so yes 6-8 pounds 😂
Some good fish there had a 7.5pound tope there
All the more reason to night fish mate👍👍
