    This is so helpful for the 2024 Sirdar Gingerbread House! Lots are using your tutorial to make the Christmas lights instead of carrying the yarn across for their Week 4! Your tutorial is so incredibly helpful.

    I whipped up 6 lights with garland in no time and gifted it to my daughter who loves Xmas so much she keeps her little Xmas tree up all year. She gasped! She loves it! Perfect gift for a child...or anyone!! Thank you so much
    She wants more!! And then I made a granny star ornament for her and now I’m getting requests from everyone lol! Thank you so much!!

      How did you attach the lights to the garland? I seem to be having trouble figuring that part out 😝

    • @masuganut2082
      @masuganut2082 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      ashley walker Jayda actually shows you how in her video where she makes granny stars.
      But what you do is you chain a length you want and then slip stitch into the grey part of your light then chain away however many you like for the spacing and then repeat. Just slip stitch into the top to join. ❤️ it’s a lot of fun to have it all come together. My daughter still has hers up ❤️

      Jayda InStitches just to let you know, this Christmas I made several items from your Etsy shop as presents. Our daughter's mother-in-law loved the Autumn Moon Wrap. The adult men got scarves made with your waffle stitch pattern with self striping yarn in the colors of their favorite soccer team's. The grandsons got caps from your slouchy hat pattern with matching scarves in the waffle stitch. Everyone loved their presents! Thanks for helping to make Christmas a raging success.

    I love all these quick fixes, Live streams and everything you have been posting the past few months. I haven't been posting for a while because of watching on xbox. Anyways I was wondering if you could post a video or a video series on repairing techniques as I have two blankets (one C2C granny, and one big granny square blanket) that need repair in my closet. I have no idea how to repair them, and you are the best teacher, so I figured I'd ask. Thanks for all the great content Jayda and Mr. InStitches.

    • @lindaschultz7253
      @lindaschultz7253 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Debi Diaz our very first Christmas tree in our house was imploded/exploded by three cats. Every Christmas after that we put the tree up in a playpen and anchored it with lightweight rope to the sides of the playpen and only used unbreakable ornaments. Somewhere in our pictures I have a photo of two cats about halfway up the tree peering out like demented raccoons at us.

    Hi Jayda,I just love these little lights and used them for a bunting last year, and I have gravitated to them again this year; however was wondering if it is possible to make this into a pillow! I have tried and am failing miserably getting the dementions accurate. I just think these would be adorable on your sofa, loveseat and chairs all in different colors. This would make a great Christmas tutorial. Thank you so much for all you and Mr. Instiches do for all of us. Blessings, Judi

      It just takes practice and part of that is getting comfortable with recognizing the edges of the rows you need to work into. Small projects like this are a good one to practice 😁 You might find it helpful to mark the end of each row with a stitch marker so you know exactly where to put your hook 💗

    @@jrmull70 I was trying to say something to you, but chat was stopped. Any chance you have fallen recently or a car accident? I am almost one month into dizziness/nausea/double vision/altered taste after falling 12/10. I had 2nd appt today with upper cervical chiro. My friend took me to today's appt with prayer before and afterwards. A huge improvement about 10 min after the appointment! Praying healing continues.
    Meanwhile, if you have fallen or hurt your neck, please see an upper cervical chiro. The one I saw is certified in Orthospinology.
    BTW, if you are looking down a lot... crochet, phone, computer--that can be a big problem.
    Blessings! 💗
