A little trick on the leg quarters....we aren’t super fans of dark meat either, but when they go on sale for 39-79 cents a pound my frugal heart cannot resist! What I have found works great is to put 4-5 chicken breasts in the crockpot, put 3 leg quarters on top add about half cup water and salt and pepper to taste.cook on low 6-8 hours. Makes an amazing broth with those bones and dark meat, flavors you breasts well. Skin slides right off ,Pick the main meat off the bones, cook bones again for broth. When I mix the dark and white meat it is much more palatable to us, especially in a casserole !
And oh my goodness, that intro though !!! I felt like I was watching/ listening to a “real movie”, kept expecting to see intro credits appear!!! The music was so chipper and the scenery perfect 👏👏

Excellent looking chicken sheet pan meal. Thank-you for proofing recipes before sharing them. If you really like the Kashi cereals you can make a hot cereal version using the On The Go Original blend. It's a good substitute for oatmeal that's almost perfectly seasoned. You can also add it to oatmeal.

Last Friday cable was out all day and night due to high winds...so no tv, internet or phone all that time. I only missed the internet part. lol Have a nice day!

You can also substitute pork chops for the chicken, if you feel like pork. Everyone I have ever served it to loves it. If you have company, try asparagus, as they "fancy up" the dish!

I have found Monday mornings are a good day for steak markdowns ( I think they package extra for the weekend) I went to Save a lot at 8:00 am on a Monday and found 20 # of steaks for 56.00 on mark downs!! Strip, T bone, chuck steaks and sirloin tip steak. I skipped to the checkout lol!!!

Did you put the broiler low? I always burn 🔥 stuff Emmy when I cook with broilers- but I want to have crispy chicken like you made.
My broiler only has one setting...broil lol. Start it on low and just keep an eye on it.

With Kroger digital coupons I got Kraft Salad Dressing & a dozen eggs for free.
