I think the best part about Arumba uploading everything so close together is his quick responses to comments in the videos themselves, as opposed to others who can take weeks to react to comments :)
I don't know if you played the earlier games, but from what I can tell the reason you're getting frustrated is (if it's like the earlier games) is the combat isn't actually in real time, it works on turns (which are shown as timers above character's heads). So if you tell your guy to turn into a cat it gets queued for his next turn, so it could be 6 seconds or however long a turn is until it happens. Also I skipped a bit through the videos and don't know if you worked out the stash but the menu on the left in the stash screen are tabs for different types of things, it's shared between all characters but stuff might be hidden under its tab.
except that both times the timer clearly runs out and his character is just standing there not doing anything. it seems that you need to not have the engagement circles touching in order to shapeshift.
Nah, this game's combat system is real-time, but abilities and spells have casting times and cooldowns, and can be interrupted when you're hit. I don't know which of those happened here, but I bet it was one of them. He figured out the stash thing.
AndreasTPC It's Active Time Battle... kind of like Final Fantasy. He clicks it more than once trying to get the command to fire which is, most likely, cancelling the action which makes it not fire when the timer is up.
I assume he didn't get enough views to make the time slot worth it. He is (as we know) posting a video every 3 hours (or releasing it what ever), and if it doesn't get enough views (like binding of Issac) he can't/won't continue the series. I am still moaning darkest dungeon which I enjoyed seeing him struggle with.
Pity though ... I enjoyed his Homeworld series quite a lot ... For any other kind of Genre he records people seem to cry a lot for more strategy games ... and if he tries a really great one they are not interested ... who understands the world? ^^
***** no one understands anything, that is why Arumba did so good in the insurance business... did he ever mention he used to be in the insurance business?
Anyone else agree with me that Arumba just overthinks too much? :D Fortitute is a defense check in D&D so of course it is put under Defense. And the no-weapon issue on his main character is just cute. Too bad we revealed it so early or we should guess when he realizes that hehe
Stays awake till 23:30, randomly checks subscription box, sees Arumba Video popping up, thinks he can be first who watches Video has already 280 views and 3 comments :(
15:02 Just so you know you are pronouncing Brazier incorrectly. Brazier: pronounced Braz-ur - a metal receptacle for holding live coals or other fuel, as for heating a room Brassiere: pronounced Bra-zeer - a woman's undergarment to cover the chest.
A moments ress pit? Respite dude, pronounced like spite. I know you're not fond of pronounciation corrections, particularly place names, which can be right dodgy.....but I had to rewind to figure out what you just said...
" corrections ", implying something needs to be corrected in the first place. i heard and knew what he said just fine, maybe you need to buy a hearing aid.
Please realize you dont have your sword.
Oh god, please loot dead enemies.
he doesn't have his sword anymore, he threw it at the creature, remember?
Oh i do, thats why i want him to know he doesnt have his sword
It just feels like he never played RPG :P
***** he looted as many of the bodies as he could before the winds picked up. and he said that he wasn't going to min max it
heHEHEH
gO TO TRUThCOnTesTcoM, reAd thE PrEsent
Patience Arumba, you got interrupted from transforming. The more times you keep reissuing orders in pause mode just delays your actual cast time.

Last episode - "loot, loot! You can't leave loot behind!". This episode - "Is that a glowing corpse of an enemy? Nah, fuck clicking on it."
Below the green dots is a turn timer, actions take place when that's emptied.
Turning into a cat requires space, you gotta move away from shit.
the fabled Arumba attention to detail in full force I see

Reiryuu Nah, I'd say it's more like the fighting system in dragon age than active time battle.
There's a 2 second cooldown after an attack, converse with Quill and have him break combat down for you.
There is a way for clickable items to be highlighted constantly.. Saw that on Quill18's stream.
Equip a weapon Arumba, you lost your sword when you threw it saving Heodan.
18 years later and we are exactly where Black Isle left us.
ARUMBA YOU GOT NO WEAPONS EQUIPED SINCE THE START OF THE EPISODE. EQUIP ONE' ANY!
I think there is a setting that makes the tab to see stuff toggle-able. At least Quill seemed to be able to do it some how.
This is only a test post.Please Ignore.Please don't upvote
Love this series
Arumba, not that i don't love new series, what happened to home world???
bunzination I think he did not like it since he did not get good at it very quickly

bunzination Personally I didn't view it. Didn't get my enjoyment from it. I did however LOVE the darkest dungeon series.
can't wait to see more of this :D loving this game keep up the vids
I love how he sees a +5 on a MINOR cloak but still assumes that +5 is a lot of stats :P
This is making me crave for some meaty D&D like nothin else.
You should have given the little lizard dude your beer.
This game looks really fun

Arumba you forgot to equip a new weapon to Anfri after the last episode
I know this is not about the video but what happened to eu4 mytiplayer?
***** Yeah, Mathas couldn't make it for the recording for some reason.

Ah yes, knock down a gelatinous mass of goop
I believe you need to click where you want him to transform.

Brassiere: pronounced Bra-zeer - a woman's undergarment to cover the chest.
Is it just me, or does the man in the thumbnail look like Arumba himself?
This looks like Divinity. sweet
At this pace you will finish this series in November... just so you know.
Factorio?

Nick Crusaire I think you misunderstood what I wrote. He pronounced respite as pit rather than spite.
throwway yep, that's certainly how he said it, hence there is no need for " corrections " when nothing needs correcting.
throwway it is pronounced as pit. dictionary.reference.com/browse/respite?s=t
Sheesh you guys are touchy over a simple correction. It's not an insult to be corrected. Chill.
can you play a chanter
second for turning into a cat
Like for in the insurance BUISNESS
U threw ur sword
This LP is cringe-worthy.
