I'm wondering how long it'll take him to notice that when he took the option to throw his weapon he actually lost it and has been running around unarmed since.
I find it funny that Arumba hasn't noticed that every action in combat comes with a cool down that makes him unable to do anything else for a short time. So when he doesn't shift for his first action in a combat and lets the AI attack something, he has to wait after selecting the skill for his druid to actually shift. It is basically like he has already taken a full action in combat and must wait for his next turn to actually shift into his cat form.
Killjoy *Yep he trowed out his weapon while climbing the rock , still havent equiped new one , and he should really give the lady like bow for second weapon.. He seems abit lost with this game..
It's pre-recorded so it's gonna take him at-least another 2 episodes before he uploads a new batch of videos. If he hasn't noticed it by then... well it's Arumba.
Watching you go through all the weapons and then even rest knowing what was about to happen unintentionally made this video insanely hilarious! ;p Also, if I remember well from Quill, and you could just ask him because he knows perfectly or watch one of his first video's of Pillars of Eternity, this is what I remember of how weapons work more or less: Slow speed weapon: 1.5 second attack animation + 1.5 second (Pretty sure of this one) Avarage speed weapon: 1 second attack animation + 1 second recovery (I'm posstive about this, while dual-wielding) Fast speed weapon: 0.66 second attack animation + 0.66 second recovery (this could most definitely be wrong) Then there's always a downside and an upside to every armour, weapon and/or weapon style in this game: Fighting with only a 1h-weapon makes the recovery animation longer, an average weapon will then strike every 3 second, but you recieve a boost to accuracy. Dual-wielding makes you faster as you then strike average weapons one after the other every 2 seconds as above but you don't recieve an accuracy boost. Carrying a one-handed weapon and a shield gives extra deflection but you lose the accuracy boost. The heavier the shield the more Deflection but as far as I've seen starting at 8 Deflection the bigger the accuracy penalty. Don't know precisely with 2h weapons. Armour is also always a trade off: For every point of DR your armor gives you also gain +5% recovery time which means your avarage speed weapon then takes 1 second animation + (1 second recovery x Recovery time increase from armour). So more damage reduction means slower attacks. This game has the perfect balancing and trade-off system. Clothing with 0 DR can still be interesting as you don't lose recovery time and they're enchantable ;)
Love how you went to give your two party members new weapons but not anfri. Cus ya know he's unarmed and does way less damage out of cat form then the rest of the party
That was pretty awesome. Sad to see you lose your party so soon, just when I was starting to remember their names. Also, I love how you gave them both new weapons, but never checked and saw your main character is weaponless.
t might be interesting to read every spell at your disposal in it's detailed description as there are a few AoE's that are not Foe limited. If you cast those haphazardly you'll hurt your team. Also, if you want numbers, every number from attacks are explained in the battle log of you hover over them. It shows the entire calculation during attacks at least. It's something like: Accuracy + d100 - Opponent's Deflect = Crit (100+) or Hit (50-100) or Glancing Blow (20-50) or Miss (20-) then damage: damage weapon - DR opponent = damage with always at least 20% of damage coming through I think.
I started watching this playthough to maybe get some insight for my own playthrough, but after watching Arumba get so caught up in the minutiae of the game that he doesn't even realize he doesn't have a weapon equipped, I think I'll just watch it for the entertainment of watching him flail about and fuck it up.
Also, brazier is pronounced brAY-shur, not bruh-ZEER, which is a device to restrain chesticles....tho I understand that they did burn brassieres in the 1960s.
Oh you... You must not watch Arumba much; pointing out a mispronunciation is more likely to get him to pronounce it incorrectly just to mess with picky viewers. (see: The Tac-Team Scotland Campaign and others)
I cant continue watching. Arumba doesnt show any emotions, he show no reaction when cool or sad stuff happens. Heodan and Callisca died "oh I can loot them"
Wish I just had five more dollars, could purchase this or cities skyline. Personally i'd hide what the dialogue options do to other characters and RP my character out.
It's pronounced Ray-pee-er, And more pillars, All the pillars. And before anyone gives me crap about pronunciation, you ALWAYS pronounce a word the way the country's inventor pronounces it. Spanish/Italian weapon,
Except rapier is a German (not Spanish or Italian) word meaning foreign weapon and was used for German copies/modifications of Italian designs such as the Pappenheimer. You're thinking of a spada, espada, or an épée. Modern fencing uses these words with different definitions as well.

dear arumba,
please equip anfri with a weapon.
sincerely,

i noticed that in the first wolf you fight lol
Still no weapon equipped?
the cat can use weapon??
because if anfri is transformed into a cat and he cant use weapon why give him a weapon??
(sorry for my bad english)
Nicolò Neal Transform has a duration. After it wears off, you'll be punching.
Killjoy *Yep he trowed out his weapon while climbing the rock , still havent equiped new one , and he should really give the lady like bow for second weapon.. He seems abit lost with this game..
Nicolò Neal he should still always have weapon , it can give other benefits + the cat form has CD , it only last 20secs or so.

I need this game in my life. My precious. Yeeeesssss.
Not very observant, are you, Arumba? haha
Enjoying this though, will definitely play it, if only in memory of Minsc & Boo
If you pre-order you get a giant minature space piglet, which is an obvious reference to Boo. Dunno if it goes for the eyes though.

He is a dwarf, he doesn't need a weapon, he IS a weapon.

at 11 minutes it was so close he actually found out about hes weapon
That was pretty awesome. Sad to see you lose your party so soon, just when I was starting to remember their names. Also, I love how you gave them both new weapons, but never checked and saw your main character is weaponless.
I want to buy this game immediately.. and the druid looks sweet.
engagement is probably what prevents you from shifting by enemies.
Pillars of Eternity: aka. the tale of Punchy McPuchalot!

Did you try giving one of your allies the cloak of protection to see if they survive the light explosion?

"Oh, my computer is too fast." First world problems
Maybe he does't turn into a cat because he is engaged to an enemy?
Found something! Found something! Found something! Found something! Worth a look!
Arumba, rapier is pronounced rae-pee-er not ra-peer ...
We should be happy he plays as a druid, otherwise he would just wonder whole episode why he doesnt do any dmg.
I missed this whole area, and my character IS a fire godlike ;(
Also, brazier is pronounced brAY-shur, not bruh-ZEER, which is a device to restrain chesticles....tho I understand that they did burn brassieres in the 1960s.

You have to forgive the Librarians.
Wanted to read the loadscreen tips, but computer is too fast. PCMR problems, amirite?

20min videos are way 2 short for this game , step it up to ATLEAST 30mins. Thanks.
Smooth Man if this is your playstyle make it so that there is atleast something intresting per video..
Smooth Man in the last vid I mentioned the same... At this pace this game will have 300 episodes.
rolazrei idd it will -.-''
I Miss Pwent :(
I like that female fighter! She died??

Cool game but it's ugly
