What flexvolt saw did you return? I just got the flexvolt worm drive with bag, 8 ah charger and a flexvolt 9ah from home depot for $270. It was $459. Its is 10lbs. But if your cutting on flat area it should be fine
Not true about the six hour battery well only last for about two to three hours if you use it for farming walls. Well not last all day, especially on the sawall. For the cir saw well last a bit longer especially when using for cross cutting, but ripping 2x stock might get like six maybe eight cuts on the 6 1/2 inch saw.
