Also, I'm not ashamed to say I've lost count on how many times I've listened to that song🥴. The concept and the whole promo strategy of teasing us with wether or not she would appear in the video was extra hilarious, specially when thinking she doesn't often do star on her featuring MVs. Basically, a dream project for Uaenas everywhere, giving IU a proper celebration she truly deserves with a wink and smile. Where the entire concept production revolves showcasing her at her effortless best (no dancing needed) with the greatest respect, impact, knowledge, appreciation, humor, love, and care. Practically rolling out the ultimate red/purple carpet treatment she truly deserves. Very funny to see the IU's effect again on how she keeps reducing some of the baddest hardcore artists into these sweet adorkable thoughtful shy puppies when they are around her, eg GD, Oh Hyuk, Zico, Loco, Suga, and now we have Jay Park! Even from the stage production view, there were many IU references. ie/ stage backdrop started from a static muted orange (ref. Orange sun island - Eight), Aquamarine blue before it burst into Bluming blue), where the strip lighting then changes to bursts of purple, lilacs, and strawberry moon pink (also JP's Celine hotpink hoodie) when IU is celebrated, all indicate the production team must have been big fans. This is how a feature should be done with someone of IU's stature and so nice to see it being acknowledged by one of the great playa of the KPOP culture. It is also interesting to note as IU moves towards her 30s, she seems for the first time becoming more comfortable (even if it is still with hint of the usual IU cute shy awkwardness) accepting that adoration as this figurehead of the KPOP world that everyone always looking forward to celebrates as easy as ABC (GaNaDaRa).

After Jay's bravado that he can get IU to appear for the MV, it's so funny seeing Jay Park slinking off the set when told IU could not make it and nothing worked to replace the live IU. This time Jay Park gets to act while IU just needs to stand there for JP to fan over. Still IU being IU, acts with her expressions and shoulders dancing.

What chemistry??? Because they looked at each other? That's not chemistry. That's just what happens when two good looking people look at each other.
