Selecting double drops is always hard but when it works it works. Classic choice of hard hitting tracks, similar to what I have & still mix. Enjoyed muchly

Pioneer DDJ-400 is the best quality-price DJ deck for beginners. If you puchase it as new you will get recordbox software included which is almost half of the deck price.

Xdj is decent for 3rd deck. Pros: big jogs, qwerty track search, DJ Pro Link, hot cues and beat jumps. Cons: cannot adjust jog wheel sensitivity, no physical buttons for hot cues/beat jumps. I pref 2000nxs for 3rd deck but xdj is the best new deck option. For me 3 decks is enough for DnB and im not planning to get 4th deck (unless there is super cheap offer).
@@Zupp1s Yoyo, I finally got myself the XDJ for Christmas, and so far I'm happy with it :) However, there's one thing I've noticed; It's not built as robust as CDJ2000s. I wanted to ask if the top plastic part of your XDJ can also be pushed down a little bit - because I'm worried that it shouldn't be that way. You can check if your player does the same thing if you just press the plastic down firmly, for example next to the play button. Thanks in advance for your help - you know, I'm always extra careful when I purchase new items ;)
@@trifecta55 Im glad you finally got it ! The top cover of XDJ bends a bit (maybe 1mm movement) on my deck too. How ever when comparing to 6 years old 2000nxs moves even more espesically the display. :D .When pressing straight from above of feet the nxs doesnt move as much as XDJ. I guess XDJ's feet are more flexible compared to nxs.
What's the point of double dropping if we still get beatless ambience moments?! Just being a little dickish, clean technique. I'm addicted to /constant/ drums... and will never be cured.
Dropping doubles means both records reach drops at the exactly same time. Not like one after another. Imo mixing tracks with constant beat fits for jungle/junglish tracks.
Taking high end (melody, vocals etc) and mix them to another track with sub and bassline creates something new unique (hopefully). Thats the point of doubling drops.

Yeah find suitable tracks are difficult some times but oh god when you do! 💦💦💦
Look for songs in the same key and similar tempo
Tempo and key match are essential. Matching bassline's rhythm and mid-hi end is the tricky part of finding matching tracks.
