A protip I heard somewhere mentioned that the teleporter house in Palmia that leads to the Casino has walls of steel and the Casino itself has walls of Rubynus. You can mine (steal) those walls for ingots with good enough tool + mining.

A rough guide or just general tips on progression - namely, finding recipes - would be wonderful. This is my first experience with Lafrontier, not having played Elona, and I'm 40 hours with no idea if I'm playing in an intended fashion; struggling to find recipes is a big pain. In particular, I've been trying to find a needle recipe for the last 20 hours of playtime. Residents also confuse me.
@@Kaiovsk1 ...Awesome. And here I thought it was an actual recipe, crafting and smashing everything with a hammer whilst sleeping with the master sleeper trait maxed trying to find it. Thanks!
@@romeobenvolio4145 don't worry, I was also stuck for hours. Btw when you open the game there is a link to Ylvapedia, the official wiki, which is highly inconplete but it is still really useful
If you get the ignots, instead of making a metal pick, make a woodcutters axe first, dismantle it to turn it into stone (example: steel ignot can turn to steel atone) then you can dupe that stone to make your pick and a hammer, hammersl upgrades are worth it too. Metal/ stone versions if yhe tool have same hardness.

It's the fastest resetting dungeon. Now almost all the other nefia are randomly generated. They take longer to reset, but disappear when they do.
Does the stick hardness add any value? (Rose wood being 30, compared to the other's 20), and are there any types yet that give a bonus (palalu gives better selling, in that sort of sense), thank you very much for the video.
Not sure if I missed it or you didn't mention it...skill builds through mining evolutions not material mined. Even a weak pickaxe can mine out all those dirt walls in the nefia.
The wisest thing to do is really just stick to granite and/or Diurite, since it's more common and also not that bad really. But if you find basalt, ABSOLUTELY get it and save it!
The idea I wanted to give off in the video is that you should just grab whatever rocks can while level mining. You made me realize I've got to nail the big point better, thank you. As for basalt vs diorite. On 4 different new starts I never found 2 basalt before 2 diorite. But 4 is a small sample size in a game like this. I'd believe you if you find them commonly but it has not been my experience.
@@RitzStarr it's not extremely rare if you exploring. Especially if you only need 2 to make a pickaxe. In the first 30 days the chance to found 2 of them is pretty high. Having green equipment drop is rarer than to get basalt and green equipment isn't even 'extremely rare'
@Rumplenutskn diorite definitely more common than basalt. But then, if you want to just increase mining level early, just get granite pickaxe and mine soils while searching for basalt. Then as you said go straight to obsidian pickaxe, then go to steel pickaxe.

The graveyard fence is made of obsidian and Derphy lion cage is made of chromite also.
Do they regenerate after a while? Or is it ruined?

100% Agree, great video. It's rare to find concise informative content these days!
The mouse click sounds on slide changes cracked me up.
Good video!
yes.... this was a totally intended sound effect
Liked, subbed and commented for the INCREDIBLY cursed face on the miner
It's horrifying in a charming way.
You are not lying about the rng brother.
my FIRST pickaxe was Basalt. You only need 2 and I found them very early.

The letters you get at home from Lutz mention the big leaf and needles from the beach. Those letters are hints for players not just Spam.

nice elin content but bro i love the babe sprites
I have 60 hardness from topaz but still lots of stuff i cant mine. Im curious the progression of materials
Could someone explain what locations are random? Like in Elona, the puppy cave, every level is different every time you go up or down.

From my testing no, the stick change does nothing for hardness. I think the other properties still work like palulul for sell value.
@@Rumplenutskn Ahhh I see, thank you very much for the information.
Do you need to equip the club in one of your hands, or can you just leave it in your backpack and still get the bonus?

it's from me. I can send you the png
thanks for the kiss again hehe
Also of note, learn the mining skill from the trader so you can actually get exp for mining. Unless that changed recently? xD

You can get basalt with the tutorial axe, so no need for granite/diorite pickaxe. Basalt is not rare, so you can just skip to basalt
