- This was an exploration ride of new territory, starting at the Centenary Lakes Park, Caboolture and riding around the Caboolture Arboretum. So many lovely bird sounds and friendly encounters with the local geese. Winding around the paths at Centenary Lakes I came across different waterways and a nice sub tropical rainforest area, with a little waterfall.
After leaving the park I crossed a suspension bridge and entered into the Arboretum. An Arboretum is a botanical collection of trees of a variety of species mostly non-local and intended in part for scientific study (according to Wikepedia) Lots of beautiful trees by the river, blended with lovely open park areas, I think this might be Caboolture's best kept secret! Miss Molly accompanied me with some vocal comments along the way. Grab your choice of beveridge, put your feet up and listen to the soothing music and lovely scenery.
Nice ride loved all the water and seeing all the greenery
Thank you. It was so beautiful.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful morning ride with the stunning photography. 😍
Thank you Helen. That is a lovely thing to say! 😀
Thanks for the wonderful scenic ride. I'm very surprised that someone complained about taking pictures. I'm glad that you still had a nice ride with great pics.😀
The people who complained were the people who was feeding the swans. They were being sarcastic because I said feeding the swans bread was bad, so retaliated in the most childish way.
Good for you ignoring such childish behavior. Again thanks for the great vid.😀 @@downunderrecumbenttrikeven6967
wow great video I have been to Caboolture a few times and I have been meaning to go there after watching your video next time I'm in Caboolture I will definitely be doing that ride myself thanks for sharing👍
Just remember what I said about the bollards and look at Google maps before you go and Caraval ct is the exit you need to use for an easy exit. It really is very beautiful.
Very enjoyable Pam, thank you for sharing your lovely ride. Really nice to see all the greenery down there, it’s so very very dry up here. Brown crispy grass and dust everywhere. Fallen leaves covering the ground thickly like it was Autumn in cool climates. At least the bush turkeys are enjoying the leaf fall.
Thank you. There are lots of dry areas here as well. It was nice to find this little oasis.
Thanks for sharing your adventures Pam, you are an inspiration to Ronnie and me. We are always surprised by the beautiful areas that we weren't aware of. So sorry that an ignorant person tried to spoil your ride and congratulate you on your attitude, don't let them get you down :D
Thanks Peter 🥰I like to show people different places. I really enjoy when people tell me that they didn’t know that place existed. Despite all the mishaps it was a nice place to visit. The next time I go there will be more enjoyable because I know what to expect .
loved the video thanks , Yes and I agree with what you told that lady that she should not have fed the birds bread. I also dissagree with the people who said that you cannot take pictures , it is a public place and you can take pictures all you want. Take care and happy trails to you both. I am from Ontario Canada and I also tell people if I see someone feeding the wild life bread to stop please and then explain why.
The people who said I couldn’t take pictures were the same people who were feeding the swans. He was just being a smart arse basically saying I might hurt their health taking pictures. Unbelievable hey!
I agree with you🤣they are crazy people out there and you just cannot help stupid. At least that is what my dad always says.Have a good day.@@downunderrecumbenttrikeven6967
