this hits SO hard when in the end it goes "what could have been" as the missile is making contact with the window, JUST as the council had decided to go for peace instead of war
but only if silco (who's now dead) handed them jinx and he wouldn't have done that eitherways, that "peace" contract would just delay the war that was bound to happen, the counceleres tried to change things too late
Not sure if anyone's pointed it out in the comments, but this scene is even more heartwrenching because she's doing it again. She's launching her most powerful weapon when everything's about to actually turn out ok, just like it's happened the day Vander died. The kids could've saved him and it was Powder who changed it drastically. And now, when the council is about to make a peaceful decision... She does it again, but now as Jinx. She did it for her family then, she does it for Silco, her new family, now
Honestly, I feel like peace was never an option, even if the council voted for peace, Silco and Jinx wouldn't agree. Also, I feel like the council is hypocritical anyways, they never cared about the undercity, and when they voted for Peace, it's just because they are scared of what could do the undercity to them... i feel like it's not so bad that Jinx used her weapon on council, it shows that they woke up too late...
Caitlyn screams out because she realizes that her Mom is dead. Gone forever, from the moment the missile began its ascent. And all she can do is watch, helplessly, as it travels to its destination... Wow. And Mel takes off her ring because she's finally let go of her family's warlike culture. Peace was so close... And then? Jinxed.

I don't actually think Caitlyn is screaming for her mother, she basically doesn't know that her mother is in a reunion at that moment. I believe Cait's screaming because of the pain and conflict that Jinx's attack is going to create between piltover and Zaun. She's screaming because she couldn't stop the attack, because people are gonna die and a war is going to be triggered by that
The look of hope and joy that passes between Mel and Jayce, as they realise that the vote is unanimous. The council voted unanimously for peace. And one young woman has suffered so much that she cannot let that building stand, that grand chamber that watched across the river as her family shattered and died, three times. Fuck.
She was the demanded sacrifice for peace at 15:30 in the final episode. These councilors were corrupt and wanted to further hurt powder/jynx for their own benefit. That deal was the first stone that started the war, this scene just shows her justified retaliation. Her life depended on it.
@@phxf The council voted for peace without even having Jinx yet. The plan was there. If she had simply left the city, Silcos dream would have come true; The nation of Zaun was basically secured. And then she jinxed it. Also, justified retaliation? She is a murderer. She does belong on trial.
"Even though I'm... Different." The level of emotional exhaustion in that one line... Powerful. Blows my mind how every damn voice actor in this show is top tier!
especially since they had no hollywood connections what so ever. i suppose that's amazing though, as it probably kickstarted a lot of new actors' careers.
Just the raw voice in that line, in Jinx her whole character. She's just tired of it all. And it shows. Also in the Enemy MV, the transition from Powder to Jinx. You can see the innocent and young features change in a flash to a young adult who radiates the mental exhaustion she's feeling. I really feel for what she's been through. Man this show is just *chef's kiss* perfect
@@exu7325 That isn’t true though, Jinx may think that but Jinx herself doesn’t seem to understand the difference between loving someone and loving/condoning the choices they make. Silco loves Jinx because she’s like him, that’s why he spared her as a child. I believe that love evolved but I’m not sure. Vi on the other hand seems to love Jinx as a person but not the choices she makes. I pretty sure Vi even blames Silco for the Jinx is. I’m not sure but I think Vi and Jinx still young in the show which probably plays a big part in there perspectives.
@@exu7325 And? Ask yourself what that means? That’s been said before in other forms of media. Changes come in many form forms too. Vi has on multiple occasions tried to not only protect Jinx but separate her from Silco. If Vi didn’t love/care for her, why would she do that? What doesn’t Vi love about Jinx? Her actions, her character, who her friends are etc? Jinx asks Vi to murder somebody in order to prove she loves her, Vi refuses, that’s doesn’t mean Vi doesn’t love her.
What really hit me was what Jinx said before firing the weapon. Sometimes we miss the memory of a person rather than the person. Or we miss how that person made us feel. "I thought maybe you could love me like you used to" says so much.. Too many things have happened in their lives, making it impossible to ever go back to what it used to be. Some things are better to be kept in the past instead of forcing it to work. Man.. that really hurts.
I feel that. I had a very good friend in the past that I hadn't seen in 4 years and when we reunited I realised he was different that the person I remember. Everyone changes and it's just a sad reality. It's even sadder considering they are sisters.
What hit me hard was the looks on Caitlyn and Vi’s faces: Caitlyn screaming in anguish because she knew that she was going to lose her mother, and Vi’s look of absolute horror at the fact that her sister has now gone too far to be redeemed. The second was that we didn’t actually see the explosion, we just saw the glass shatter reflecting the shark face drawn on the rocket. A perfect metaphor for Jinx shattering the peace between Piltover and Zaun.
@@pitfrog9132 Yup, exactly what I was thinking! Cait’s later lore revolves around her finding C since she kidnapped her parents, so said parents need to be alive for that, hopefully.
It's incredible how similar vander and silco was, they both fought against piltoverian oppression, and they both died because they wanted to protect their daughters, vander died protecting Vi, silco died protecting Jinx
Almost all of the characters Jinx things throughout the show based on their best of intentions and personal virtues. Vander's revolution ultimately led to Vi and Powder's parents deaths. Vander replacing Vi to be arrested ultimately led Silco to him and in so doing resulted in the kids going to save him. Vi trying to protect Powder ultimately made her worry more and chase after them. Powder trying to save everyone ultimately killed Mylo and Crag. Viktor trying to save himself so he can live long enough to help everyone, used the Hextech without Shimmer as a medium and resulted in Sky's death. Jayce kills a child in the midst of combat. Silco just like Vander, was unable to "do anything for Zaun" when it came to JInx, so his revolution was destroyed by his love as well. Silco attempting to shoot Vi when Jinx was unstable led her to killing him. The Council's reluctance made their pursuit of peace came far too late. Yet Jinx is the one that has shouldered so much of it and internalized it to such a degree that it became her identity. Jinx has become a living embodiment of everyone and including her own mistakes. Worth noting that Jinx has seen THREE sets of her parental figures die now and be "abandoned" by her sister. So now Jinx is just an agent of chaos and mayhem.
In his introduction Silco stated that power belongs to those who are willing to do everthing to get it. Showing that he stops at nothing to get what he wants. Lateron we learn that he felt betrayed by Vander because Vander wasn't willing to sacrifice everything to get what they wanted, for him the cost was too high and he chose to save Vi and Powder. At that time Silco considered that/him weak, that all the fight had left him. And now Silco was offered everything he wanted, he only had to sacrifice Jinx, basically putting him in the same situation as Vander and in the end Silco made the same decision for the same reason. For me that makes the scene were Silco visits Vander's statue and admitting that he now finally understand why Vander made that choice, so much greater.
@@SCharlesDennicon The level of detail is incredible, it is almost as if they run it through some AI. I have never seen an ending this perfect, where everything clicks into place precisely, a little story hidden behind every single moment.

The thing that hits hardest is you can tell Jinx didn’t want to do this. This weapon was a last resort, to be used when all else failed. She held out for this long because in her broken mind, there was still a chance that at least she had Vi left to her. There was still a chance, a slight chance, but she reached for it with all the hope she had left. And then that failed too, leaving Jinx with nothing to do but pull the trigger and scream her pain at an uncaring world that- in her mind -had taken everything from her. No wonder she ended up the way she is in League.
1:39 this moment right here is such a brilliant example of wordless storytelling it honestly blows my mind. We see Sevika, still visible hurt and wounded after the fight with Vi, dropping down on to her usual spot in Silco's offices, looking at his empty seat (but still remaining in her usual spot), before trying (and failing) to light one of Silco's cigars with Finn's lighter. This lighter has already repeatedly been used as a visual storytelling tool to show the politics and power dynamics in the undercity, when Finn disrespectfully fiddled with it at the Barons' meeting, when he offered to light Sevika's cigarette and she reluctantly accepted, when he vandalised Silco's desk with it and when Sevika picked it up herself to light Silco's Cigar, the same one she's now trying to light for herself, with little success. The scene manages to wordlessly convey that Sevika is most likely aware of Silco's fate, and will presumably try to lead the underground (or at least Silco's organization) in his stead, but will struggle to do so because she views herself incapable of filling his shoes, and is far more comfortable following someone with a vision she believes in rather than leading herself (first Vander, then Silco, and for a while seemingly Finn). All of that in a scene that's a few seconds long with absolutely no words or text. Wow.
Doubly so. We've waited the whole season for her ultimate to make an appearance. It happens right at the end and carries enough weight to shatter the dream of peace that most characters spent all this time working towards. Intensity indeed.
I don't know about that because there is a person in the official league lore that kidnaps Caitlins parents both of them so she may be highly injured but I don't think dead everyone else besides jayce,Victor, and Mel probably dead
Spoiler alert season 2 Trailer in German I think confirms that Caitlyn’s mum is dead because when it says you will have justice. It translates and shows that her mum is dead
Jinxs scream as she launches the rocket gets me every time. Its the scream of somebody whos lost everything and has nothing left to loose. It so short but so powerful.
My daughter had me listen to this song. I asked her who was singing it. And then I said "Sting? Like, The Police??" And she shrugged, and I felt old but so proud at the same time. This man is a legend.
My mom loves Sting and the police. I showed her the show because we share a lot of tastes in movies and TV shows. She loved the show and was super excited when she heard Sting's voice at the end. I didn't even recognized him when I first watched it
I've been rewatching that very specific clip since the show came out. Not enough people talk about that tear, and the scream of anguish and rage as the rocket fires.
2 years later and I still see not enough people mentioning how impeccable jinx’s aim must have been to have sniped the tower from THAT far of a distance
I love almost all Arcane characters, but Jinx has a special place in my heart, I love how she was written and developed, her story is so tough and tragic and it's outcome heartbreaking. Uncomprehended, broken, rejected, resigned to walk by herself on a path she never asked for, she is one of the greatest victims of all this conflict and violence. This song summarize her life, packed with feelings to the surface
Rejected? By whom. Not by V or by Silco. Resigned to walk by herself? By whom? Not by Silco or by V. She isnt a victim. She is an unrelentless perpetrator of all of the conflict and violence. Her mind of the world and her victimhood is an illusion, fiction.
Just realized the parallel from this scene and the scene that killed vander and the two other guys. Both times the person Jinx most cares for is about to achieve what they want, both times itll be ruined by Jinx and her first successful creation with the different hextech gems. Truly a Jinx till the end.
Only reason why I wish arcane could have been three seasons. The scene made it feel like this conflict between Jinx and Vi was going to define the show going forward, but it gets wrapped up pretty quickly. Not in a dishonest way, but just felt things moved too quickly and it would have been nice to have the consequences of this action last a bit longer
The part where Silco says " We will show them . . We will show them all" OMG the feeling. This was an incredible finale that gave each charachter a chance in the spotlight before circling back to Jinx being Jinx. Love it with all my heart :)
Yes Caitlyn senses she’s going to lose her mother, but y’all are forgetting about Jayce, her childhood best friend. She senses she’s going to lose both of them, and she can’t do anything about it. I know Jayce will most likely live, but Caitlyn doesn’t know that in that moment.
Jayce has to live, since he's a character in the game. Also, there is lore from the League of Legends card game (which is canon), that has Caitlyn's mother alive at a much later date than this. So my assumption is she survives also.
@@LeoScott , Arcane doesn't strictly follow the Lol canon. How horrible it may sound but I really hope that they'll kill someone important in that room. @@nastenashamanka5680 For whatever reason I just feel like nobody in that room is going to die. I hope somebody does die for the sake of the story but this feels like something they could drop the ball on pretty easily. Let’s just hope they don’t fuck it up…
Everything to be said about how emotional this scene is has already been said, but I just cannot get over just how goddamn *cool* the final shot is. How the glass shatters and the face on the rocket is suddenly magnified. Holy shit man 10/10
Wow, this final scene is like a bloodletting of all of the pain and trauma endured by Jinx except at the cost of more people's lives. Her descent into darkness is complete and like her namesake she brings misfortune at the hight of hope only to bring everyone crashing back down to her level.
2:30 is another detail when they transition from Caitlyn to her mom. Caitlyn knows her mom is going to die and there's nothing she can do about it. Her mom and the council finally agreed to peace, but unfortunately that wouldn't happen for them.
The show was unbelievably badass. But my favorite moments of the entire show was the words silco said... "We'll show them, we will show them all." Goosebumps !!!!
When Fiddlesticks says "All your fault!! All your fault!! " to jinx, it hits hard, because Vander, Milo, Claggor, Silco, People in Piltover... died all because of jinx
The song is just so perfect and fitting under the circumstances. What could have been if Vi accepted Jinx as she is? What could have been if Piltover took notice of the Undercity sooner and more drastically? What could have been? This climax stems from the accumulation of little actions that go unnoticed, resulting in a girl so broken-hearted and so depressed that she has to put blame on the council, which is the cause of all her pains and sufferings.
@Malthizar that is the problem, my guy, we humans wants only ONE thing and is be accept, it doesnt matter if you are imperfect, you only wants to hear from the persons that you more love and care say: its ok dont cry, you are perfect (even in your imperfect self)
@Malthizar that is why silco become human to bring peace to jinx he change his monster self and chaotic nature, and become that thing he hate most his old brother vander.
@@MarcosGarcia-oq2qw But she literally kills people without remorse. And Silco supports that. He is not helping in her in getting better. It's completey understandable that Vi can not accept Jinx who killed a lot of people out of fun
Vi had accepted Jinx for who she was. And she still would have accepted Jinx. She just didn't want Jinx to murder Cait. And anyone else. Vi had accepted Jinx since the beginning, even when the others had derided her. She had accepted her even through her flaws. It wasn't Vi's acceptance that was the problem, it was everything else - the Zaun/Piltover relationship, the Silco/Vander relationship, etc. that got in their way.
Kinda disappointed at the people solely blaming Jinx for everything. It's like a lot of you didn't get the message of the series. Jinx's story are just one of many others who suffer from war and oppression. You can't expect people to be "good" or "righteous" when you have given them every reason not to be.
A lot of you all also don't realize this all happened when she was a child. She, her sister, and her friends were caught up with things that no children should ever be experiencing. This is to not justify all of her actions, but to explain that she was also a victim of the system she was in. It's not a "good" reason, but a reason nonetheless.
I don't see blame but rather people noting the poetic irony and expert character study of the season. Every detail is put in place for you to empathize with Jinx, the broken monster. The root of the problem is structural but both the environment and characters are ultimately products of each other in a vicious cycle.
alot of people don't blame soley blame her its the Vi and Caitlyn ship makes people think they did nothing wrong. Next season Vi the message gets through Vi's thick skull that piltover is still pitlover and Caitlyn can't change that. and that Vi is not the hero
Jinx has once again jinxed a tense situation that was just on the cusp of turning out alright. First it cost Jinx her family, now it’s cost the dream Silco wanted of the underground being a sovereign nation and any chance of peace.
And that peace wasn't going to last, like vi said "oil and water" , peace sounds like a good idea but it only works when both sides agree to it, and the reason why I say this is that none of the undercity leaders were present to approve of this, it still shows that the upper city is still the dominant force over both worlds.
The fact the rocket 🚀 is a shark, something that Jynx knew Silco loved just hits so much more in combination with this song right as they decided for peace
“I thought you could love me like you used to, even though I’m…different.” -Powder’s last words “What makes you different makes you strong. Always remember that, OK?” -Vi to Powder as a child I think all of us were willing Vi to scream that she never cared that Powder was different, she loved her anyways, and loves her still. What could have been 💔 Really hoping this is said in season 2 at some point
I'm wondering what will be Cate's reaction in the next season. "I could have killed her" "...but she's my sister" "Now everyone on the counsel is dead" *The Feels*

Also hinting to it is in gold she added all over the painting she made that ambessa is looking at in this clip. Often that abstract style of painting is done with raw emotion or intuition. The fact that it was over a picture of her mothers warships shows she had something inside her the whole time and foreshadows the conflict we see in the final of S2.
She’s taking her pain out on others. If she has to feel pain, everyone else has to feel it too. It’s like Pain-Nagato from Naruto but without the weird philosophy/reasoning.
@@odst123451 She didn't target the Council because she's just "taking her pain out on others". She correctly identified Piltover as the source of all her misery and she's "showing them all". Jinx is the embodiment of decades of Zaun's pain and rage, a closed fist punching Piltover right in the face.
I see something different in this scene. The peace was would never have become - Silco just wouldn't have given Jinx to the council. So all we can see - as Jinx accepting herself and all the commanding voices in her head now became only one - Silco's, and only as a remembrance. That is beauty of freedom, even if it's terrifying for everyone else but Jinx.
Because not all monsters were monsters in the beginning. Some are monsters born of sorrow. - Fredrik Backman I keep referring to her as Powder as well. This scene is so perfect, I just cannot even begin to imagine a better ending to the season. It's perfectly tragic, so very Greek, so inevitable.. The show makes a full circle and ends Act 3 with the same thing as Act 1 kicked off with - a blue explosion. Both are caused by Jinx, both completely change the course of the story. The writers did a stellar job on this.
Just casually dropping one of the best cinematic scene of the decade to end the season in the most tragic way possible. Can't believe the explosion is just few weeks away now
The reflection of the shark on the council building window at 2:54 is probably the most awesome thing the show creators left us with, can't wait for season 2 😍😍😍
The song is like the perspective of Jinx to Vi. She has done everything that happened in Arcane to be by Vi's side again, only to lose everything she had once more. What hurts most is Vi knows she is losing her sister in that moment but words just doesn't come out.
My goodness some of those small moments also hit hard. That brief moment of hesitation after picking up the hex gem, as if one last sliver of hope from Powder for her sister to say something. But Vi knows what Jinx said is true that's why she's so speechless. Then the scream as she fires the rocket the visceral collection of anguish, grief and hatred for everything this society has done to her family and taken from her.
Yup. And people still want to claim that her and Jayce surviving was a fluke because they had to come up with something. Nope. Had it planned from way back.
Nah, i dont think so at all. Maybe they had a mild idea what to do with Mel, but it also could just be nothing more than an choice of artstyle, the show is filled with flashes, bright lights, nice effects and stuff. Dont read too much into it 🙄
I like the fact that jinx just split after firing at the council like nothing happened because vi and caitlyn at 2:26 were standing were jinx stood when she fired her ult
I love this series Vi watching as the rocket goes off, meaning that everything Cait and her tried to work through to finally find a middle ground has gone through a drain and it was all because of her sister pulling the trigger, she knows that now she dosen't have any reason, any excuse to defend her. Jinx accepting that her sister dosen't see her who she is now, that the hope of her being loved back as who she is by her is a null and all the bottled up emotions of Piltover making them suffer as she let's out all the rage that has been bottled up inside of her (i just love how when jinx starts to scream louder so does fishbones start's to aggressively power up as both of their rage is being let out) And cait being aware that her mother is in the council and that she is powerless to stop her death only to watch from bottom the rocket which is couting a mere seconds before the explosion.
Each characters face shows so much with no words. Jayce: "I did it, i did good!" Mel: "I've chosen a new path forward," "Caitlyn: "Nooo, thats my entire life, don't obliterate it," Vi: "I've lost you, Powder" Cassandra: "This is for you Caitlyn." Jinx, "We will show them all"
masterpiece of a show on every level. for me this is a generational level show and easily in the top ten pieces of fiction ever put on a screen of a TV. 10\10 from start to finish. loved every moment of it and gonna rewatch it a million times for sure. simply perfect. and I will hope with all my heart for a continuation in some form cause RIOT have proven with this series they craft a generational show.
I absolutely love the last scene of the missile in this. You can see it travelling towards the glass and it shatters everything, almost like it’s leaving a scar on reality. The council could be beginning to see the world through war and Jinx’s eyes and the peaceful life of Piltover has been forever affected by her attack. That just really gives me the chills…
That cross fade from Caitlyn's silent scream to her mother's face, just as she raises her hand as the last vote for peace, breaks me. Every. God. Damn. Time...
I don't see enough people talking about Vi's face at 1:13, this is her accepting what her sister is going to do, and accepting that this isn't her sister anymore, this is Jinx. With this act, she is solidifying herself as Jinx the terrorist, and Vi knows that. She knows that her sister is gone, and she accepts it, and braces herself for the blast. That's my take anyway, let me know what you think about this.
@@th3m1st0cl3sme neither. I know some people love the happy endings where heart felt speeches get through to the person they want redeemed but to me it’s such a cop out towards a build up. To me, the entire season that was following Powder/Jinx was her journey; going from Powder to Jinx. All the talk of ‘rebirth’ and Jinx losing her sanity more and more with each episode and finally building up to her blowing up the council (which in turn, is Jinx fully embracing herself as a cold-blooded, murdering, terrorist who has very little, if any, inkling of who she was as Powder)

I wish i could watch it again for the first time over and over again. I can’t wait for season 2 to come out
Not knowing anything about LoL lore the tragedy of powder into jinx is something rarely seen in shows.. When she told vi "silco didn't create me, you did. You left me" Silco was a murderer and messed up by his past too but in the end he was the only one who accepted jinx. Everyone else wanted who she used to be. Jinx througout out the show was the only one of the kids who was willing to do what's needed for change. That look on her face as Silco told her don't cry she's perfect.. and the realization that honestly he was the only one that loved her as she was. That look on her face as she raised her weapon. She fired upon the tower that's over looked the undercity for generations. A Plague of suppression that killed her parents and everyone stuck down there with no hope of getting out. While everyone else wanted peace and line their own pockets, she pulled the trigger on a society that made a decision that was too little too late. Sometimes peace will not cut it. She weaponized a crystal in days what took scientist years to Deceifer and used their own technology against them and basically said fuck you to everyone. Perfectly flawed. And the parallels of Vander and Silco.. WOW godamn this show is so good.
I just binged both seasons this week and all i gotta say is: How the hell did people survive 3 freaking years on this cliffhanger? I would've straight up died of depression if i watched it when it came out
this hits SO hard when in the end it goes "what could have been" as the missile is making contact with the window, JUST as the council had decided to go for peace instead of war
I just noticed that, what the heck
It shattered the glass and my heart
I think it hit the councelers harder
She jinxed it
but only if silco (who's now dead) handed them jinx and he wouldn't have done that eitherways, that "peace" contract would just delay the war that was bound to happen, the counceleres tried to change things too late
She did it for her family then, she does it for Silco, her new family, now
The difference is, this time, she wouldn't care if she jinxed it or not.
Lmao she really is jinxed
man, she IS a jinx. poor thing.
That decision wouldn't have amounted to anything anyway since 1 of the conditions was Silco handing over Jinx which he was never going to do
Caitlyn screams out because she realizes that her Mom is dead. Gone forever, from the moment the missile began its ascent. And all she can do is watch, helplessly, as it travels to its destination... Wow. And Mel takes off her ring because she's finally let go of her family's warlike culture. Peace was so close... And then? Jinxed.

And one young woman has suffered so much that she cannot let that building stand, that grand chamber that watched across the river as her family shattered and died, three times.
Fuck.
The resentment builds so much, you can not see anything anymore.
She was the demanded sacrifice for peace at 15:30 in the final episode. These councilors were corrupt and wanted to further hurt powder/jynx for their own benefit. That deal was the first stone that started the war, this scene just shows her justified retaliation. Her life depended on it.

She jinxed another situation.
@@phxf The council voted for peace without even having Jinx yet. The plan was there. If she had simply left the city, Silcos dream would have come true; The nation of Zaun was basically secured. And then she jinxed it.

"Even though I'm... Different." The level of emotional exhaustion in that one line... Powerful. Blows my mind how every damn voice actor in this show is top tier!

Sorry reminded me of another movie.
@@mackielunkey2205 Also a stellar movie. For entirely different reasons mind you. But still a great work of art.
especially since they had no hollywood connections what so ever. i suppose that's amazing though, as it probably kickstarted a lot of new actors' careers.
Jinx voice actor is crushing it. Most powerful she's been to me is after she shot Silco and she runs up to him "No-no-no....! I'm-I'm sorry!"
"The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth"
Jinx/powder is loved but she can’t except it. That’s what makes it so sad to me.
@@odst123451 Jinx/Powder isn't loved by anyone but Silco.
@@odst123451 nice headcanon. "I thought you could love me like you used too.. Even though, I'm different. "
Man.. that really hurts.
this is really so simple yet so complex and sadly relatable for so many people..
Yeah
I feel that. I had a very good friend in the past that I hadn't seen in 4 years and when we reunited I realised he was different that the person I remember. Everyone changes and it's just a sad reality. It's even sadder considering they are sisters.
@@GeneralPet situations like these hurt a lot.
Yeah, and now it never will be what could have been.
The point of no return...
caitlyns mother won't die, there are some hint from legends of runeterra, that she might be alive when caitlyn becomes the sheriff of piltover
@@pitfrog9132 Yup, exactly what I was thinking! Cait’s later lore revolves around her finding C since she kidnapped her parents, so said parents need to be alive for that, hopefully.
Did Jinx commit suicide?
@@23machf1lms no she started a war
It's incredible how similar vander and silco was, they both fought against piltoverian oppression, and they both died because they wanted to protect their daughters, vander died protecting Vi, silco died protecting Jinx
They both died because of Jinx.

The worst of it? She's wrong.
@@Skozerny thats the thing. for her it's a last resort. she thinks she has to do this & that the world is against her
1:39 this moment right here is such a brilliant example of wordless storytelling it honestly blows my mind.
Wow.

"I hope you know we had everything. And you broke me and left these pieces." Sums it up.
2:51 :: Threat detected - high fatality probability. Emergency armor activation triggered.
1:06 I like the "we'll show them, we will show them all" reference. Jinx's face changed exactly like it did in the end of episode 3
That cry, while Jinx disappears in her weapon's powerful energy... moves me every time i see it
Jinx has once again jinxed a tense situation that was just on the cusp of turning out alright. First it cost Jinx her family, now it’s cost the dream Silco wanted of the underground being a sovereign nation and any chance of peace.
Thing is as Silco said he wouldn't have given her up which was the cost of having peace, so she was still at war with them.
And that peace wasn't going to last, like vi said "oil and water" , peace sounds like a good idea but it only works when both sides agree to it, and the reason why I say this is that none of the undercity leaders were present to approve of this, it still shows that the upper city is still the dominant force over both worlds.
As much as I liked season 2 absolutely nothing can beat the ending of season 1
The best depiction of mental illness and pain winning and the “burn it all down” moment. So relatable to anyone who suffers from psychiatric issues

It’s been weeks but I’m still mentally here.I can’t get over it...Truly a masterpiece
No one is mentioning this but Powder showed pretty obvious mental instability from the 1st episode.
i mean she watched her parents die and lived in a toxic pit with a brother who's sole purpose in life it was to ruin her self worth and well being.
2:22 just hits so hard
One year later and this whole scene still kills me. What a magnificently tragic end to a breathtaking series.
"We'll show them...We will show them all".
Silco ❤is the Best thing about this series.
"We'll show them ,We will show them all"
I love this series
Vi watching as the rocket goes off, meaning that everything Cait and her tried to work through to finally find a middle ground has gone through a drain and it was all because of her sister pulling the trigger, she knows that now she dosen't have any reason, any excuse to defend her.
Jinx accepting that her sister dosen't see her who she is now, that the hope of her being loved back as who she is by her is a null and all the bottled up emotions of Piltover making them suffer as she let's out all the rage that has been bottled up inside of her (i just love how when jinx starts to scream louder so does fishbones start's to aggressively power up as both of their rage is being let out)
And cait being aware that her mother is in the council and that she is powerless to stop her death only to watch from bottom the rocket which is couting a mere seconds before the explosion.
Each characters face shows so much with no words. Jayce: "I did it, i did good!" Mel: "I've chosen a new path forward," "Caitlyn: "Nooo, thats my entire life, don't obliterate it," Vi: "I've lost you, Powder" Cassandra: "This is for you Caitlyn." Jinx, "We will show them all"
Some may notice we will get warwick in season 2.....ahh damn worth to wait
masterpiece of a show on every level. for me this is a generational level show and easily in the top ten pieces of fiction ever put on a screen of a TV.
10\10 from start to finish. loved every moment of it and gonna rewatch it a million times for sure.
simply perfect. and I will hope with all my heart for a continuation in some form cause RIOT have proven with this series they craft a generational show.
I just keep coming back to this scene, gives me goosebumps every time, definitely my favorite show now, and can’t wait for season 2 💙💖
That just really gives me the chills…
oh man, imagine if Jayce survives (which he probably will) and Mel doesn't. That's gonna be so heartbreaking 💔
Except for the Jayvik shippers
Jayce must survive, the others though...
Doesn’t matter how many times I watch this scene, I always get covered in goosebumps.
1:26 jinxs screams always gives me goosebumps
That cross fade from Caitlyn's silent scream to her mother's face, just as she raises her hand as the last vote for peace, breaks me.
Every. God. Damn. Time...
I don't see enough people talking about Vi's face at 1:13, this is her accepting what her sister is going to do, and accepting that this isn't her sister anymore, this is Jinx. With this act, she is solidifying herself as Jinx the terrorist, and Vi knows that. She knows that her sister is gone, and she accepts it, and braces herself for the blast. That's my take anyway, let me know what you think about this.
I just hope they don't redeem jinx
@@th3m1st0cl3sme neither. I know some people love the happy endings where heart felt speeches get through to the person they want redeemed but to me it’s such a cop out towards a build up.
To me, the entire season that was following Powder/Jinx was her journey; going from Powder to Jinx. All the talk of ‘rebirth’ and Jinx losing her sanity more and more with each episode and finally building up to her blowing up the council (which in turn, is Jinx fully embracing herself as a cold-blooded, murdering, terrorist who has very little, if any, inkling of who she was as Powder)
1:15 a small detail that no one really notice, Vi here cry. It's a detail thats makes you understand how much works there is behind everything *chef's kiss*
Thats whisker heads when he dies
"I hope you know we had everything, but you broke me and left these pieces"
wow. That hits fucking hard.
This song literally just makes me want to cry, this whole show and it’s music is purely just beautiful. 💙 I just can’t stop rewatching this scene. 💖
i just finished watching this show a couple days ago and it was the best show i have ever seen. the story, the characters, the music, the animation, the art, the character design, the voice acting, everything about this show is absolutely beautiful. I wish i could watch it again for the first time over and over again. I can’t wait for season 2 to come out
best scene of the series - maybe even animated series in general , supported by the build up and punctuated by the music
I just binged both seasons this week and all i gotta say is:
How the hell did people survive 3 freaking years on this cliffhanger?
I would've straight up died of depression if i watched it when it came out
