I owe this Nomad as well... I'm 6'4" and this is extendable enough to fit me perfectly. I did add a 3/4" foam pad that I cut to fit into the pouch on the back pad. There just wasn't enough padding on the back.

@@bkauffman0390 , You are correct on every point! If the sewing holds, this thing is built like a tank! But it still isnt heavy. Mine seems a bit large but in idaho we sometimes hunt turkeys in the snow and always with heavy clothes in the morning, so large is good. I'm 5'6 and 200 pounds, so rounder than you. It adjusts down to fit me in a t-shirt and will easily accommodate wearing a coat. Seat feels like it will be comfortable to sit on at least an hour at a time. I ordered mine through Sportsmans Warehouse. It was 50 bucks cheaper than Amazon and lucked into free shipping. 106 bux to my door and came a day early. Thank you agian!

@@bkauffman0390 yessir, there were some PA turkeys used in the transplant to start our birds. They've adapted very well! I had to rewatch your video to figure out the two attachments on the shoulder straps for the game bag. You could indeed use this as a day pack. One day only and not for overnight. And as an added bonus, AR mags will fit in several of the compartments! Not sure if this is turkey vest or web gear!
Well, it's been 2 years. Whats your thoughts? I wonder what the hell they were thinking not making a dedicated hydration bladder compartment. I tried the top bag and it just slides around. It's definitely not the day pack I had hoped. I ended up running it as a fanny pack. If you don't keep the bottom part loaded, it rides up on you. Maybe just my egg shape. The extra ammo compartment flap is built backwards. Long part should be on the bottom so it falls out of the way. But, it is indeed sturdy! Getting it loaded up for another season. I spent that much on it, I'm gonna use it! Hope all is well with you!
Good review! I got the same vest and the bag for the gobbler is a fail... aint nobody gonna use that! I actually dropped the top off and run it as a hip pack only. Pretty sweet rig that way. Seat is okay... but its a great minimalist setup.

Have you been able to keep your box call quiet while on the move? I have the same vest and I didn't know if there was a trick to keep it from wiggling
I don't carry one typically.
Maybe put a paper towel between top and bottom. It would be annoying to contend with but would keep it from making noise
