Definitely some cool features I like the seat and the system for attaching the turkey but I wish they didn’t try and redesign the wheel… I like having the traditional single large pouch on the back for stowing a decoy or my stakes, water bottle, binoculars. I don’t want to have to take my vest off to get to something I need. Looks more like a vest for the bow hunter rather than the traditional gun hunter, that’s not a bad thing just optimal for a specific type of turkey hunter.
The lack of water bottle pocket on one of the sides is mind blowing to me. I don't hate the redesigned back of the vest, but no water bottle pocket? I can't believe that decision was made.
@@n57flyguy I understand that, but I would venture to guess that a vast majority of hunters are using bottles, not bladders. And adding a small, mesh pocket would have added virtually no weight and very little extra time designing but would have made the vest a lot more versatile. I would be buying one if it had a bottle pocket.
@@galinswigart fair enough. I didn't know they were making these and caught it locally. I stopped using vests because for me they were all designed poorly. Tried it and bought it in the spot. But I am very used to hydration bladders to carry more water with no noise. It's a great vest.
because they designed it for the minimalist run n gun hunter that probably doesn't use a decoy or uses just a single hen which you can fit in the back or a strutter
At least know the vest before reviewing it. Lol he totally missed the actual slide pocket In front for your 3rd and active Stryker, Among a few other things. probably never actually had it on.
Does it come with preapproval for the loan to pay for the darn thing?
If you turkey hunt every year why wouldnt you get a nice pack?

@@galinswigart because it is hydration bladder compatible.

The didn’t even put water bottle pouches on the sides
Definitely gotta keep your box call from "CLUCKING" . This Nimrod ain't got a clue.
For the price there are many much better. Who is using this thing?
What would you put ahead of this for more of a run and gun style not arguing just would like to know cause I’m looking lol
@@KillenNReelinoutdoors I’m still waiting for this guys reply, this looks like the cats meow
Fits great, works great. If you hold your compass correctly magnets won’t effect it. If you know where to look you won’t ever pay msrp.
I navigate via compass. No magnets for me
You don’t like doing doughnuts?
turkey vest but no pocket for turkey? lol
