- I would certainly like to think that this has been the cause of the noises heard from this area of the engine, it can't have helped much, that's for sure!
Very good idea Paul to explain a problem with actual parts of the engine, thank you.
Your motorcycle videos are so educational.
Thank you!
Amazing, Thanks.
Oh I remember it well. My old Machismo went through the same problem.
👍👍😁 brill, does this mean it will sound like those
bags of spanner/nails you showed us 🤣😂can`t wait
to hear the results now,
The devil in the detail....again.
Sir ger sounds every bullet problem
G'day Paul, the last person who rebuild the motor was a bit slack, I'm so glad I can rebuild my own engine's with the help of a workshop manual, I'm a stickler for having oil going where it should and right quantity and grade, thanks I'm always learning from watching you, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
Thanks Neil 👍
Has it had a “new” sprag clutch fitted recently but fitted incorrectly? It hardly left the factory like that,
Yes it has had previous work and a sprag replacement, although easy mistake to make, even at the factory, perhaps ...
What year is that?
Probably mid 2000's.
Bit new for you, I'm not sure when the bullets first went electric start.
That would be 2002.
Your motorcycle videos are awesome.
Absolutely terrific video. I just replaced sprag on 2008 Bullet electric and I have a very noticeable metal scrapping sound and I am wondering about those shims. I had only one and Hitchcock offers several thicknesses to “adjust the end play” and also a thick cover gasket. BUT I can’t find and reference in the workshop manual or online as to what to look for in adding shims or use of thick gasket.
Do you have any insights??
Thank you kindly.
