Nice job Bruce. I used to weld off camera too but with an older Sony camcorder I have been getting careless about that the last year or two and been getting away with it, no problems yet with the camera. Last video I did just a couple days ago was on a welder review that was sent to me and I welded about 3 or 4 feet away, even zoomed in a little and didn't hurt the camera. I'm seriously planning to rig an auto darkening hood to a camera mount soon because I do welding videos frequently.
Thanks for the upload Bruce I was bored shitless there trying to find something to watch, you know I’m in Scotland I’ve never been up close with a snowblower so I now know they’ve got skids 👍. Big machine that, good job they’re sturdy enough, love the welding accessory box I’ve been trying to organise stuff like that for years, maybe one day lol 👍
To me it looks like a mtd built machine if so the scraper curves up onto side. I would put skids on back holes to sturdy it up more. Those buckets are not real strong. Paint stick under scraper good spacing. I also do skid repair. Good video
Nice weld and fabrication on the snow skids. I recently replaced mine with the polymer type because the steel ones wore down and I don't weld,,,,,, yet. I still have time to learn. Lol
@len4338 horizontal welding is easy as long as you don’t need a perfect finish, it’s when it gets vertical or heaven forbid overhead that it grows arms and legs , buy a cheapo and fart about you’ll love it lol 👍
Have you tried ATF automatic transmission fluid in a leaking tire, I know it doesn't work on a tire with a hole in it from like a nail, but it does work well with a dry rotted tire, or a bead leaker?
Yes. But not a snowblower. I put some in my lawn tractor and when I turned firmly, I rolled out of the tire and rim. So now I have a slime bottle with half full of trans fluid. Thanks. I may try again.
Hey Bruce, Welding arcs don't transfer through camera lenses to tv..So although bright to the viewer, There is no harm to them watching it on tv...In person is another matter.
Nice job Mr Bruce. 👍🏼🙂
Well thanks so much Sir. John
Anytime brother
Nice job on the skid modification Bruce. That should help running over gravel. Happy to see you at work!
Morning Bruce I need a "Rainblower" on the WestCoast of BC !
@robertblacksmith4355 Scotland has been in need of one for a week! Half the time it’s not even rain it’s just wet air 😂👍
@@mikeyyoyo6464 Vancouver rains over 200 days a year we call it "Raincouver" the "Wet Coast"!
@@robertblacksmith4355 Damn 😫
Too funny
Awesome video, now you're ready for some snow THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO
You are so welcome.
Thanks for the idea. I have a gravel driveway too. 😃
Gravel drives are tough on machines.
Morning Bruce, excellent.
Thanks

Right. That box has evolved over time.

Thanks. If I put them much further back I ran into another bolt. Hard to describe.
Hello brother Bruce 😊 some fantastic repairs buddy 👏 that is never going to break 😀 👍🏻 and thanks for the tips.
AC welding is another animal. Yes I did this one in August. 90 degrees F. Ouch

I need to practice my welding, I suck! Good work Bruce!
Well I need practice. It seems like I just get back to where I left on on the welding quality thing.
The wider pads are definitely the way to go. Nice you get to do something different. Nice job Bruce. Stevo
Thanks a lot Stevo
