Thanks for reviewing my app! Hm, switching units when configuring the app should of course automatically convert the values shown when configuring the alarms. I need to fix that. I should probably also create some kind of documentation. E.g Glucose tagets affects when high/low colors should be used on the watch face, and are also used when stats are calculated. Regarding complications: I first intended to support complications, but couldn't visually find a place to display them. I might in the future create a different watch face, that only shows current bg, and 2 or 3 complications, and has the graph as a tile.

Are there any known issues if a password is above a certain length? The password that we are using is longer than I was expecting and I cannot find a setting to be able to view the password before attempting to verify it. The password line as a whole shifts position when I get the end and I am not sure that it is submitting correctly, and if it is, then I simply cannot get the watch face app to work for us. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!
@@QuestionPrime Hi, I checked the code, and did some tests in the debugger. There shouldn't be any limitations on password length. I tried to enter a password that was 140 characters long, and verified that it was both saved and restored correctly. I agree that it would be nice to be able to have a setting for showing the password while typing, but kind of hard to fit into the UI due to limited screen size.
If possible, I'd appreciate it if you would consider an other watch face (just the graphic), not the underlying data for old (82yrs.), half-blind people like me which displays larger Time and BG values with a black background option and a true white display of values. Surprisingly, there are quite a few of us scouring the various Watch Face groups for a solution. I'm looking for a watch face that just shows time (not seconds) and BG values. I'd like to see the values the size of the Wearable Widgets BG numbers. Unfortunately the WW time numbers are too small. I would be happy to contribute to financially support this effort. Thank you. @@rebelduke1 I tried to create a watch face according to your description. I'm now testing it locally, but I also had to guess on sizes etc. It will be included in the next release. Don't know when that will be though.

I got the Blose application to work with the Dexcom G7, Samsung Galaxy S10 and Samsung Galaxy Watch5. The Blose app description indicates it works with a Dexcom CGM system and in my case that includes the Dexcom G7. Great app, easy to set up and can display a lot of information to make the life of a type 1 much better. Thanks so much.
Thank you and the developer for this video and app. I've used at least a dozen watch faces but all had either the BG digit values to small or the time digits values to small for my 82 year old eyes. This app does the trick for me. Thank you both again!

I have been using this one the most, its much better than the Dexcom watch face. I just upgraded to the G7, and was worried it would not work like it did on the G6, but luckily it works the same.
This is the only configuration that my watch/phone (GW4/S20+) would allow, and it looks great! I was really worried I got a watch that couldnt show my CGM but I followed links in your other video comments! Thank you!!

this is great! Thanks to you and the developer. Easy to install and set up, with the help of this video. Interestingly, I was able to put it on my Samsung watch but could not find the app on my TicWatch Pro 3. I guess I'll be wearing the Samsung.
Regarding Wear OS 5. Blose 1.x shown in the video isn't compatible with it. There's a new version, 2.x compatible with that version. Wear OS 5 does however not allow watch faces to run any code, so Blose has been split into two parts. Blose will just be an app that provides complications, and then there id Blose watch face, also available on Google play.

However, I cannot download wearable widgets. It says not available for my phone. Can you suggest another widget so I can customize my watch face? Thanks
What happens when you change the sensor? Will the values be visible on the watch even after the change or do you have to do something special to make it work again?
I've tried like so many different ways to do this and I can't get it working. Any help would be appreciated. I have the watch 5 and dexcom g7 and I've looked at endless videos to do so. Yours was the best and most informative and still despite that it won't work.....please help!!
I have the Galaxy 4 watch. I do not have Play Store I only have the Galaxy Store on the watch. None of the apps like Blose or Wear Installer are available!!! Yikes. Thank you so much for getting back to me but it does not look like I can do this. I'm not sure if I should continue to bang my head against the wall. I have spent so, so much time and effort.
I loved this watch face. But since installing the last security update for my Samsung smartphone (still based on Android 13), the Blose Watchface hardly shows any data anymore. Only sporadically, mostly nothing. So I returned to the Dexcom Watchface. This has no problems and always displays the data. The Blose watch face looked better and also showed me the battery level. But unfortunately it doesn't work that way. Let’s see what happens when I switch to the newer Omnipod 5 insulin pump. It runs in closed loop with the Dexcom G6. The compatibility list of smartwatches for Omnipod 5 has been published, but it is still very... um... manageable.

@@typ3me Wow, thanks for the answer. My phone is a Samsung A32 5G. OS: OneUI 5.1 / Android 13, patch level August 1st, 2023. My watch is a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5Pro, Wear 4.0, patch level July 1st, 2023. There is a problem with data not being displayed in the Blose Watch face only since installing the security update on the phone. Everything was fine before. Of course, there are better and newer phones. I have my health insurance promise to cover costs for my current Dexcom G6 and Omnipod DASH until the beginning of 2025. After that, I'll switch to Dexcom G6 and Omnipod 5 in closed loop. No problem with my health insurance. Since the Omnipod 5 is still very new and no one knows what the compatibility list will look like by then, I would like to wait until then to buy a new phone. It is possible that some security and energy settings on the phone will be changed again when an update is installed. Maybe I'll try again with a fresh install of Blose. To be honest, I only installed the Dexcom watch face after this problem. I was happy with Blose from the start and had no reason to try anything else. Greetings from Germany
A fresh install is a great idea. I've had issues in the past with other CGM watch faces, and a simple power cycle of watch and phone also does wonders. Greetings from the Wild West of the USA.
Just bought a Ticwatch Pro 5 on Wear OS 3.5 and really like the watch face. It works and looks great! Not sure if I am missing it, but can the reading delay of 35 seconds be adjusted to something longer? Wondering if adjusting to 60 or 90 seconds will help extend battery life. Thank you.
I have to use a 2 phone set up, my primary is a S22 Ultra not currently compatible with my OMNI POD 5or Dexcom G6. My phone for diabetic control is a S9 and I use Blose on my watch since I started on my OMNI POD a little over a month ago and love this app. it was a very easy set up except I think I installed it from the watch face install in my Samsung Wear app.
@@typ3me I understand that they have to get approval from the government and understand why. So to have the best option for me it's worth doing more to better my health. My only wish is they had been starting to work on this type of technology sooner for those who have had to go without this technology before me.
I have an S22 Ultra 5G and I got the G6 to work on my phone using something I found in Redit. Cant remember how I did it (Im 60 and not that tech minded) Take a look there

Thanks for the positive feedback. Unfortunately watch will not work as stand alone, because the sensor needs to speak to a receiver before it can talk to a watch.

Im not getting any graph readings. Ahould i be entering my daughters dexcom clarity login details. I dont remember setting a password for my follow app. Under authentication tho it says success. Can you help please?
Yes, log into clarity or the Dexcom site using your pc. The credentials you use will be the same you use for this app. If you can’t remember it a reset option will be available here.

There is a possibility that if you use the Libre Link in this video The 2 Simple apps I use to view Dexcom from my GALAXY WATCH. th-cam.com/video/Qit52Xb48-A/w-d-xo.html Instead of Dexcom, it just might work. Keep me posted if you try it.
Will this work if the smartphone is not nearby? My type 1 son is going sailing over the summer and it would be ideal if the phone was with his trainer whilst he was on his boat wearing a waterproof smart watch.
Good question. Unfortunately, the app does require a Bluetooth connection from the phone to the watch to download the Follow data from the cloud every 5 minutes.
Question: Are you downloading the app directly from your watch or from your phone? It should be downloaded to the watch first using the google store app.
Does this require the G6 app to be installed on your phone or can this be used to follow someone else (My son in my case)? If I'm a follower on his G6 app/phone can I use Blose on my watch to follow his numbers if I enter the Dexcom credentials into my watch? It seems like it is pulling data from Dexcom servers rather than the phone itself over Bluetooth, which means I would be able to follow him, which would be great.
Hello Ben! Thanks for this great video! I'm an old boy in the UK, new to the G6 and new to my Galaxy 4 watch. Followed your instructions and Blose working well (most of the time!). Am I right in thinking that, using Follow, it needs a constant internet connection to work? Have had a few occasions where I was in a poor internet reception area and lost output to the watch. Slightly confused because I notice after the double-tap on the face I scroll to "Inet Access" and it says "bluetooth". If it does require internet access is there any method to connect by direct bluetooth from my S22 phone? Previously I used an Xdrip display from Juggluco/Libre 2. Any options?? Thanks.
Thanks for the comment. Yes, you are correct. Any apps requiring the Follow app require access to the cloud via the internet. The Bluetooth direct to watch feature may be available soon via Dexcom in conjunction with Apple watches. I hope this helps. Enjoy the watch face, it's amazing.
Love your video on getting the galaxy watch to show blood sugar. Now is all good and well, but is there a way to leave your phone behind and take just your watch? if you have to take both devices just to read it on your watch, what's the point? Next is there a way to install the Dexcom G7 software on a Galaxy 23+? right now you can't. I have to use an older device.
Hi Michael. I wish the issue eight now is that we are waiting for Dexcom to allow direct to watch software. This will only be functional on the g7 but has not yet been approved. Next, to get the g7 to work on uncompatible phones, you'll need to try th Build your own app. I have yet to try it, but it can easily be found through Google. Let me know if it works.
Blose was initially made with followers in mind. My son has d1, and I needed an app for my watch. Blose doesn't require a phone, if you are a follower, and have e-sim.

But ultimately, thank you both for your amazing patience in dealing with my questions. Being the Significant Other to a Type 1 is not new ground for me, but the possibilities offered by her finally being able to change over to OmniPod / Dexcom from a long long line of Medtronic pumps, has been both a revelation and a steep learning curve. Things like even having access to an app for example. But I digress, the reason I discovered why I was having issues is that the username that I was entering was in the wrong format which meant that I was derailing myself from the outset. (Like I said, learning curve) Once I identified my problem by poking around the Dexcom site the rest of the setup went smooth as silk. Thanks again to you both for literally "Saving Christmas" 🤣🤣🤣

Great step by step video. I have a G6, Pixel 6 and Samsung Active 2 watch. I believe I heard on your video that this app was a wear OS app and the Active 2 is Tizen OS? I'm not sure if it will work on the active 2. I have been using the G-Watch but I keep having issues with it not showing BG readings. I need to find another watch face that will work with my pixel 6, Samsung Active 2 and Dexcom G6. Before I try going through the setup, do you know if this will work for me?

Hey, i did this when my son had the G6 and it worked. Now that he have the G7 it wont work, And the G app is on an other phone i connected it to the dexcom follow app .. i also made a new accunt where the username have my phone number does that matter? do you have any idea why it doesnt work? i have a samsung s22 and samsung watch 4.

Hello thank you for sharing this information but I'm having a problem. I have blose installed on my Samsung watch 5 and have submitted my info for my dexcom account. The issue is on the watch 5. I have only the clock, battery info on watch face but no diabetes data. Please help.
Hi Kenneth, you may need to go into a web browser to confirm you are using the right Dexcom login info . Also, verify the appropriate region on the watch settings.

Will this app work on a G7 with a Samsung Watch 4? The G6 is failing on the 9th day. This app has worked perfectly for the G6, when the G6 has been working, prior to the 9th day.
Hm, what is the question? Blose runs on watches that runs WearOS v3 or later, and e.g Galaxy watches can be paired with iPhone, so Galaxy watch + iPhone + Blose should work, but it's not something I have tested.
Sorry to hear that. This method requires a download from the play store, unless you know how to side load apps. Can the app be downloaded to your watch through the phone?

Trying to login in America and had to use my phone number to get dexcom and the clarity app to communicate. Try to put my phone number in every possible combo and continue to say wrong credentials or server and I unchecked the region eu box. Please help.....

Guess since my phone has such a hard time syncing with the g7 I may have to go the g6 until the g7 gets all the kinks worked out.

Hello! What was the previous watch face called? Looks cool. I've submitted a couple of reviews on the Play Store as I've used Blose. It's certainly the most reliable watch face I've tried so far, but that's at least partly due to the dearth of viable alternatives. I find the "diff" graph somewhat counterintuitive in that it doesn't differentiate between positive and negative difference, doesn't display a scale, and doesn't explain what it's even measuring. I'm assuming it shows absolute magnitude of change from last reading. This could be improved visually by giving the user an option to have a "diff" graph with both +/- y-axes, showing both the magnitude and direction of change. Another improvement would be to enable the user to customize graph height. This would allow users to make smaller variations in glucose more (or less) visually apparent, if desired. Finally, adding complications and enabling the ability to hide second on the clock complications would be nice. All that being said - I know it's entirely free, so I'm grateful to the dev that it exists in the first place. Just my 2¢!
Wow, Brett, that was really great feedback. I'm currently testing the next Blose version, which does include complications. I'd also love to see some of your suggestions added eventually.
BTW, the first orange face you saw was a samsung animated face that allows for complications. The complication I was using was from the g watch wear app and wearable widget combo.
Thanks for the feedback. In regards of the scale for the diff bars. Yes, the bars do represent the absolute value of the diff. The reason for having it as an absolute value, which can be argued, is that the screen is small, and it can be hard to see how fast the glucose is moving by looking at height difference between dots in the graph. Making the bars go above or below an y-axis would make the height of the bars cut in half, once again making it harder to detect how fast something is changing. (Btw, my wife who works with UX hates the diff bars). The reason for not having a scale for the diff bars is that they were meant to just give a visual indication of a fast change in glucose. Seeing if it's going fast up or down can hopefully be seen by looking at the graph at the same time. With that being said. The max height of a diff bar represents a diff of 36 mg/dL ~ 2 mmol/L. Having graph height configurable is something I have thought of, and I might add it. The only reason that I didn't add it from the beginning was that the configuration "screen" already was quite large. The current graph height is 36 - 280 mg/dL (2-15.5 mmol/L). The release after the one that typ3me is testing will most likely just contain repeatable alarms, and configuration of them, and also an option to have alarms continue to vibrate until dismissed. That release could possibly also enable configuration of graph height. The next one after that will probably include a new watch face without seconds, and with support of complications on the watch face. Having an analogue option is also considered, but I need to figure out how to temporarily hide the hands, if they e.g are covering something important, like the glucose value, and you want to see the value. I don't know if that can be done by having a gesture that hides the hands for e.g 5 seconds.
@@MrKaj73 The 3 things I wish on the face is time, cgm level with arrow and a battery level bar. I use reading glasses but can’t walk or drive with them on, so time and cgm a touch bigger and centred, and a battery bar or percentage a little more visible. Best face ever! How can I type in my username and pw when the app for Blose will NOT allow me to type in numbers on my galaxy 5 watch. The keyboard does not show numbers!

I think you're asking about the Samsung animated sphere. As long as you utilize Dexcom, Follow, it should work on G7. To he honest, I really prefer Blose it's super stable and reliable.

The blose app seems to me disconnected or something from my watch... sometimes this happens but then it calibrates/reconnects usually within mins or after I restart my watch, but currently it hasn't been displaying my reading...(When i switch over to an older face from a video you posted earlier, the readings are there) any recommendations? Has this happened? Do I need to uninstall it and go through the same process again? Thanks
It could otherwise be good to double tap on the watchface, and scroll down to, and click, on the button that says "log". It might indicate the cause of your problems.
Hey Anthony, great question. The process to add certain features like CGM readings to a watch face are called "Complications". Although this watch face asks if you want to give it permission to receive complication data, I haven't been able to make it work on other faces from my Galaxy Watch 4. It's a process that I'm planning to explain in my next video. Do you mind if I use your question in the next video as a Kudos?
I initially planned to only implement a complication that could be used in other watch faces, and not a full watch face, but I then got concerned that the watch face that would show the complication possibly could show stale values, if e.g something crashed.

I have been using this one the most, its much better than the Dexcom watch face. I just upgraded to the G7, and was worried it would not work like it did on the G6, but luckily it works the same.

Regarding Wear OS 5. Blose 1.x shown in the video isn't compatible with it. There's a new version, 2.x compatible with that version. Wear OS 5 does however not allow watch faces to run any code, so Blose has been split into two parts. Blose will just be an app that provides complications, and then there id Blose watch face, also available on Google play.

I have the Galaxy 4 watch. I do not have Play Store I only have the Galaxy Store on the watch. None of the apps like Blose or Wear Installer are available!!! Yikes. I loved this watch face. But since installing the last security update for my Samsung smartphone (still based on Android 13), the Blose Watchface hardly shows any data anymore. Only sporadically, mostly nothing. So I returned to the Dexcom Watchface. This has no problems and always displays the data. The Blose watch face looked better and also showed me the battery level. But unfortunately it doesn't work that way. Let’s see what happens when I switch to the newer Omnipod 5 insulin pump. It runs in closed loop with the Dexcom G6. The compatibility list of smartwatches for Omnipod 5 has been published, but it is still very... um... manageable.

@@typ3me Wow, thanks for the answer. My phone is a Samsung A32 5G. OS: OneUI 5.1 / Android 13, patch level August 1st, 2023. My watch is a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5Pro, Wear 4.0, patch level July 1st, 2023. There is a problem with data not being displayed in the Blose Watch face only since installing the security update on the phone. Everything was fine before. Of course, there are better and newer phones. I have my health insurance promise to cover costs for my current Dexcom G6 and Omnipod DASH until the beginning of 2025. After that, I'll switch to Dexcom G6 and Omnipod 5 in closed loop. No problem with my health insurance. Since the Omnipod 5 is still very new and no one knows what the compatibility list will look like by then, I would like to wait until then to buy a new phone.
It is possible that some security and energy settings on the phone will be changed again when an update is installed. Maybe I'll try again with a fresh install of Blose.
To be honest, I only installed the Dexcom watch face after this problem. I was happy with Blose from the start and had no reason to try anything else.

Just bought a Ticwatch Pro 5 on Wear OS 3.5 and really like the watch face. It works and looks great! Not sure if I am missing it, but can the reading delay of 35 seconds be adjusted to something longer? Wondering if adjusting to 60 or 90 seconds will help extend battery life. Thank you.
I have to use a 2 phone set up, my primary is a S22 Ultra not currently compatible with my OMNI POD 5or Dexcom G6. My phone for diabetic control is a S9 and I use Blose on my watch since I started on my OMNI POD a little over a month ago and love this app. it was a very easy set up except I think I installed it from the watch face install in my Samsung Wear app.

Yes, log into clarity or the Dexcom site using your pc. The credentials you use will be the same you use for this app. If you can’t remember it a reset option will be available here.

Will this work if the smartphone is not nearby? My type 1 son is going sailing over the summer and it would be ideal if the phone was with his trainer whilst he was on his boat wearing a waterproof smart watch.
Good question. Unfortunately, the app does require a Bluetooth connection from the phone to the watch to download the Follow data from the cloud every 5 minutes.

Yes, that works. You don't need the g6 app on the phone, but I recommend you to have it installed, just to get better alerts.

Hello Ben! Thanks for this great video! I'm an old boy in the UK, new to the G6 and new to my Galaxy 4 watch. Followed your instructions and Blose working well (most of the time!). Am I right in thinking that, using Follow, it needs a constant internet connection to work? Have had a few occasions where I was in a poor internet reception area and lost output to the watch. Slightly confused because I notice after the double-tap on the face I scroll to "Inet Access" and it says "bluetooth". If it does require internet access is there any method to connect by direct bluetooth from my S22 phone? Previously I used an Xdrip display from Juggluco/Libre 2. Any options?? Thanks.
Thanks for the comment. Yes, you are correct. Any apps requiring the Follow app require access to the cloud via the internet. The Bluetooth direct to watch feature may be available soon via Dexcom in conjunction with Apple watches. I hope this helps. Enjoy the watch face, it's amazing.
Love your video on getting the galaxy watch to show blood sugar. Now is all good and well, but is there a way to leave your phone behind and take just your watch? if you have to take both devices just to read it on your watch, what's the point? Next is there a way to install the Dexcom G7 software on a Galaxy 23+? right now you can't. I have to use an older device.
Hi Michael. I wish the issue eight now is that we are waiting for Dexcom to allow direct to watch software. This will only be functional on the g7 but has not yet been approved. Next, to get the g7 to work on uncompatible phones, you'll need to try th Build your own app. I have yet to try it, but it can easily be found through Google. Let me know if it works.
Blose was initially made with followers in mind. My son has d1, and I needed an app for my watch. Blose doesn't require a phone, if you are a follower, and have e-sim.

Being the Significant Other to a Type 1 is not new ground for me, but the possibilities offered by her finally being able to change over to OmniPod / Dexcom from a long long line of Medtronic pumps, has been both a revelation and a steep learning curve. Things like even having access to an app for example.
But I digress, the reason I discovered why I was having issues is that the username that I was entering was in the wrong format which meant that I was derailing myself from the outset. (Like I said, learning curve) Once I identified my problem by poking around the Dexcom site the rest of the setup went smooth as silk.

Great step by step video. I have a G6, Pixel 6 and Samsung Active 2 watch. I believe I heard on your video that this app was a wear OS app and the Active 2 is Tizen OS? I'm not sure if it will work on the active 2. I have been using the G-Watch but I keep having issues with it not showing BG readings. I need to find another watch face that will work with my pixel 6, Samsung Active 2 and Dexcom G6. Before I try going through the setup, do you know if this will work for me?

Hi Kenneth, you may need to go into a web browser to confirm you are using the right Dexcom login info . Also, verify the appropriate region on the watch settings.

Hm, what is the question? Blose runs on watches that runs WearOS v3 or later, and e.g Galaxy watches can be paired with iPhone, so Galaxy watch + iPhone + Blose should work, but it's not something I have tested.

Sorry to hear that. This method requires a download from the play store, unless you know how to side load apps. Can the app be downloaded to your watch through the phone?
I think Gear S3 runs Tizen as OS, and not Wear OS 3? Blose requires at least Wear OS 3.

Blose doesn't run any code on the phone. Blose installs directly to the watch, so it should support all phones that are supported by the watch.

Trying to login in America and had to use my phone number to get dexcom and the clarity app to communicate. Try to put my phone number in every possible combo and continue to say wrong credentials or server and I unchecked the region eu box. Please help.....
Hi Jester. Try logging into the Dexcom webpage on your PC. Then use the same credentials to log into the Blose app.

Hello! What was the previous watch face called? Looks cool.
I've submitted a couple of reviews on the Play Store as I've used Blose. It's certainly the most reliable watch face I've tried so far, but that's at least partly due to the dearth of viable alternatives.
I find the "diff" graph somewhat counterintuitive in that it doesn't differentiate between positive and negative difference, doesn't display a scale, and doesn't explain what it's even measuring. I'm assuming it shows absolute magnitude of change from last reading. This could be improved visually by giving the user an option to have a "diff" graph with both +/- y-axes, showing both the magnitude and direction of change.
Another improvement would be to enable the user to customize graph height. This would allow users to make smaller variations in glucose more (or less) visually apparent, if desired.
Finally, adding complications and enabling the ability to hide second on the clock complications would be nice.
All that being said - I know it's entirely free, so I'm grateful to the dev that it exists in the first place. Just my 2¢!
Wow, Brett, that was really great feedback. I'm currently testing the next Blose version, which does include complications. I'd also love to see some of your suggestions added eventually.
BTW, the first orange face you saw was a samsung animated face that allows for complications. The complication I was using was from the g watch wear app and wearable widget combo.
Thanks for the feedback. In regards of the scale for the diff bars. Yes, the bars do represent the absolute value of the diff. The reason for having it as an absolute value, which can be argued, is that the screen is small, and it can be hard to see how fast the glucose is moving by looking at height difference between dots in the graph. Making the bars go above or below an y-axis would make the height of the bars cut in half, once again making it harder to detect how fast something is changing. (Btw, my wife who works with UX hates the diff bars). The reason for not having a scale for the diff bars is that they were meant to just give a visual indication of a fast change in glucose. Seeing if it's going fast up or down can hopefully be seen by looking at the graph at the same time.
With that being said. The max height of a diff bar represents a diff of 36 mg/dL ~ 2 mmol/L.
Having graph height configurable is something I have thought of, and I might add it. The only reason that I didn't add it from the beginning was that the configuration "screen" already was quite large. The current graph height is 36 - 280 mg/dL (2-15.5 mmol/L).
The release after the one that typ3me is testing will most likely just contain repeatable alarms, and configuration of them, and also an option to have alarms continue to vibrate until dismissed. That release could possibly also enable configuration of graph height. The next one after that will probably include a new watch face without seconds, and with support of complications on the watch face. Having an analogue option is also considered, but I need to figure out how to temporarily hide the hands, if they e.g are covering something important, like the glucose value, and you want to see the value. I don't know if that can be done by having a gesture that hides the hands for e.g 5 seconds.
@@MrKaj73 The 3 things I wish on the face is time, cgm level with arrow and a battery level bar. I use reading glasses but can’t walk or drive with them on, so time and cgm a touch bigger and centred, and a battery bar or percentage a little more visible.

I think you're asking about the Samsung animated sphere. As long as you utilize Dexcom, Follow, it should work on G7. To he honest, I really prefer Blose it's super stable and reliable.
@@typ3me Oh ok. Thank you for the info. I wish I could have it as a panel on my watch or a complication, instead of the watchface itself, but I will take what I can get. I just really like my watchface setup and look, but my blood glucose is more important than style right now.
I also use both wear widget and blose as complications on some of the Samsung default watch faces.
@typ3me Oh. I can use Blose as a complication? I was not aware of that. Will definitely look into it, because that would be perfect. So long as it still sends low glucose alerts (I have hypoglycemic events). Thank you very much

The blose app seems to me disconnected or something from my watch... sometimes this happens but then it calibrates/reconnects usually within mins or after I restart my watch, but currently it hasn't been displaying my reading...(When i switch over to an older face from a video you posted earlier, the readings are there) any recommendations? Has this happened? Do I need to uninstall it and go through the same process again?

No, it hasn't, but a good ol' reinstall fixes so many issues. It's definitely worth a try.
It could otherwise be good to double tap on the watchface, and scroll down to, and click, on the button that says "log". It might indicate the cause of your problems.
Can you add the readings to another watch face as a data screen? Or do you have to switch watch faces every time you want to see your readings?
Hey Anthony, great question. The process to add certain features like CGM readings to a watch face are called "Complications". Although this watch face asks if you want to give it permission to receive complication data, I haven't been able to make it work on other faces from my Galaxy Watch 4. It's a process that I'm planning to explain in my next video. Do you mind if I use your question in the next video as a Kudos?
I initially planned to only implement a complication that could be used in other watch faces, and not a full watch face, but I then got concerned that the watch face that would show the complication possibly could show stale values, if e.g something crashed.

Yes, make sure to use the correct login credentials that work when you log into the Dexcom website.
That checkbox has a weird naming, and it's changed in the next release. It should say outside of US, since it should be checked for e.g Asia as well.

Make sure your using the appropriate log in info Verify you have the correct log in credentials on the actual Dexcom site.

Have you tried making sure both devices have the current firmware updates and Blose app software updates ? Also try hard resets on both devices.
