Awesome video! I struggled a little bit but I was able to install everything and on my watch. The only problem is that on the watch complication when I did it as gauge it always stays as a question mark instead of displaying the level info. Is there a way to fix that? I did change it to show it as text for now and it’s ok for now. Thanks so much for this video. I am a type 2 diabetic trying to watch my levels and this helps so much.

Thanks for video, everything worked great, but can’t get it added to complications. I know how to add complications but Night Gaurd doesn’t show as option. Any suggestions? The app works on watch but pain to open up app every time

I haven't quite got to setting this up yet, but I did have a question before I do. Do I still need the phone in my pocket. I contacted Apple and they said that the Freestyle Libre 3 is not supported by Apple watch. So will I be able to do the procedure that you describe here and still get continuous readings with just the watch only?

@@diabe_tech one last question, the value shown on the Apple watch and also in Nightguard on the iPhone does not update automatically in the background. You always have to open the app to se the real latest value.
I see other people asking about the same issue. Do we need to do something that we forgot It?.

@@Sascha0472 ja ich habe es hinbekommen. Ich bin aber schon versucht, das ganze Prozedere mal in deutsch zu filmen. Ich hab im Netz schon viele gesehen, die daran gescheitert sind. Aber das werde ich erst Ende nächsten Monat in Angriff nehmen können.

Dude....phenomenal video, unfortunately these directions do not function with the most recent software versions, I'm running 17.5.1 now, and the nightguard app doesn't show up on the watch or on the phone for widgets :( .... can you do an update video?!
I hoped you can use ONLY the Apple watch but if an iPhone is needed, that is kind of useless for me 😢

With sgm attached to my arm. Is there a way to continue to see my blood sugar auto update to the apple watch without me scanning the CGM? My work is strict and I get fire for even holding the phone. I just wonder if it can auto update the blood sugar every hour or so without me scanning the Libre CGM device on my arm. Even if I can use my apple watch to scan it that would be great. No one will write me up for using the phone because I scan it with the watch on my wrist. Thank you

Thank you 🙏🏾 bro …. I did everything you stated and now I have it on my watch. …. Also I to get down on myself when my sugar is high and I haven’t even started my day. I just woke up and my sugar goes up. But to remedy that you can drink green tea or Camille tea… this will help lower it.

I got this to work - very helpful video. Two questions: does the watch complication update in real time (or close) with the Libre 3 app data? Or does it somehow need to be pushed by opening the Nightguard app? Second, how did you get the values as gauge numbers to show in green? I have them in red even when in range. Thanks!

Thank you for this video! Since now I would have 2 apps apart from the one of Freestyle Libre, where should I log the bolus? Is it convenient to do it only in one of the apps? Gluroo or NightGuard? I guess that the fact of having lots of apps will affect the phone battery, so do you know if there's any change in settings we could do to minimize that?

Hi Justin, for me the next most important thing I am waiting for is direct to Watch Support for my CGM. Why worry about 3rd Party Apps, indirect connection via a smartphone into the cloud and back. My smartphone is not always in reach. But I have my CGM on me and I can wear my smartwatch any time. If these 2 connect directly, I would have a simple and reliable solution always on me. That would be so cool!!!
When trying to add the night guard widget to my Home Screen it wasn't an option that populated in my list. Gluroo was there. How do I get the night guard to show as a widget to add?

Thank you so much for this video. It’s a game changer for me. One quick question, you may not have the answer but if anyone can help I’d appreciate it. I can’t add “BG values as text” to the middle widget of the “Modular” face type on the watch to get that nice trend graph you have. Well, I can but there’s no graph just a blank space with no data. Can you advise if I need to choose a different watch face type or if there’s anything else perhaps causing this - I’ve just watched this video so it might be a time lag thing with not enough data to populate a graph so I’ll try again later but if you have any pointers that would be great. Thanks again
The trend graph I had was a different app, DIY Loop which is the automated system I use. It controls/connects my Omnipod dash pods and Dexcom g7 - it’s not FDA cleared. I’ve got a video on here about it.

I have a question/error. completed all the steps, and everything was working fine. But since yesterday i keep on getting false low notifcations from Nightguard (0.6 mmol which is impossible). Whenever I check the actual app or the libre app, my bg values are displayed correctly. Also on my watch they appear rightly. But the weird low notifications from nightguard keep coming in. Any clues how to get rid of this glitch?

Pozzzz... I live in Serbia and we don't have and are not covered by the libr, so we have nowhere to get information.. We are currently using the libr 3, and they don't give us a phone at school, is there any smart phone that supports a sim card and that can be used through it follow libra?
My widget is only updating once I go into the Nightguard app on the watch. Background app refresh is on. What could be the problem? It’s useless like this if it shows a very outdated value
