Same thing happened to me. I thought Himmler would hand it off to Goring for delivery and he would eat it. Putting it on eBay was a surprise and allowed for even more clever dialogue, such as Bergdorf leaving the table to go bid for the Nutella.
Another plot: Himmler sell it on eBay and Göering buys it!

The actor for hitler deserves huge applause for his creation of this virtual personage. We know have real sound recordings of Hitler speaking outside official speeches and it's nothing like this movie. It's very relaxed, deep resonant lower voice and even a nice tone. But this movie remains funny and enjoyable.
