Downfall was unintentional cinematic brilliance. These scenes can so easily removed from context and be applied to completely 1st world problems. Too bad Bruno Ganz doesn't exactly agree.... but his kids do!

He was vegan after all , no wonder in real life he had bad fart problem, vegans often do. I dont know exactly, but I guess rest of people in bunker were allowed to eat meat, eggs, cream, fish etc as well. Bunker actual kitchen might be "epic", but I doubt it was "crappy"
