A little correction: Corsair acquired the business operations of Endor AG (and therefore Fanatec), while Endor AG itself is being fully liquidated. Thanks again for watching guys!
Naw this is fantastic. They are going to keep all of the warranties for buyers. They are keeping all of the employees so no layoffs. This is what corsair does when they aquire a company. This is fantastic for us as consumers tbh.
Corsair bought Fanatec, not Endor AG. That is apparent when understanding the statement Corsair has issued where the new HQ building (the one with the go kart track on top) remains an assest of Endor AG.
What I think we will see is better distribution with high street retailer sales as-well as direct to manufacture. I agree with the point on restructuring as clearly the business cant continue as usual. I think the brand will grow without Thomas who appears to me to run have run the business as a lifestyle.
you missed something very important when you talked about Sony and Fanatec they have not been getting along as a matter of fact the last "wheel+box" that was certified by Sony was the CSL elite+ the new DD pro that they just put out was not certified by Sony and they were attempting to do so when the company went under Fanatec has been warning consumers for a couple of years now that their products are not Sony certified. They are simply Sony compatible and may not continue to work with Sony products for the last two years you have not been able to even buy Sony PlayStation buttons to go on your wheels anything that had to do with Sony certification went out the window because I believe they knew the company was in trouble. They were also tired of the horrible customer service and how it related to Sony. but I think Coursera is going to be good for some racing and good for the future of people that like the Fanatec product.

I can pretty much guarantee you that when your products are booted off of Amazon, you're in trouble fan tech did not like the fact that Amazon would do an instant refund or a replacement and that's not how they did business. We all know how crappy their customer service was and that was the end, it would be fantastic to be able to go to Amazon and shop for Fanatec products again I received a handbrake and a shifter that were new and broken on delivery and never did get satisfaction from fanatec in anyway I guarantee the course will not be a customer service nightmare that alone could fix the main complaint about Fanatec also is it telling that my speech to text knows how to spell Corsair but cannot spell "fanatic" lol
One thing is sure. Don’t expect prices on Fanatec gear to go down. Corsair doesn’t have bargain basement prices. It’s one of the more expensive choices.
Sure but it will be a better distribution. If I can go to a local store here in Canada and pickup any Fanatec gear, it's still going to be cheaper because no shipping and importing fees to deal with unlike what it was up until now where those fees are insane and something that was supposed to be $1000 is now $1400.

is it safe to buy from fanatec?
Corsair struck gold here
I totally agree it's a Golden Opportunity for Corsair. Let's hope they capitalize on it. 👍

well, we all make mistakes... but thanks for pointing that out. It is important, because Endor still will be around, apparently....
Thanks Corsair.

Corsair will save the Fanatec name. As a Fanatec customer who had to endure the black Friday fiasco I very excited. Fanatec by Corsair 🙂

That's just fine, I hate the race to the bottom.
Let them have their margins when I get the quality.
