Went from a GT DD Pro to a DD+ Huge difference.

Everything should have a chip in the base for all pc and console players or just give the option

I can pretty much guarantee you that when your products are booted off of Amazon, you're in trouble fan tech did not like the fact that Amazon would do an instant refund or a replacement and that's not how they did business. We all know how crappy their customer service was and that was the end, it would be fantastic to be able to go to Amazon and shop for Fanatec products again I received a handbrake and a shifter that were new and broken on delivery and never did get satisfaction from fanatec in anyway I guarantee the course will not be a customer service nightmare that alone could fix the main complaint about Fanatec also is it telling that my speech to text knows how to spell Corsair but cannot spell "fanatic" lol

you missed something very important when you talked about Sony and Fanatec they have not been getting along as a matter of fact the last "wheel+box" that was certified by Sony was the CSL elite+ the new DD pro that they just put out was not certified by Sony and they were attempting to do so when the company went under Fanatec has been warning consumers for a couple of years now that their products are not Sony certified. They are simply Sony compatible and may not continue to work with Sony products for the last two years you have not been able to even buy Sony PlayStation buttons to go on your wheels anything that had to do with Sony certification went out the window because I believe they knew the company was in trouble. They were also tired of the horrible customer service and how it related to Sony. but I think Coursera is going to be good for some racing and good for the future of people that like the Fanatec product.

This cant be considered mid range it significantly better then there own podium bases and even better then simucube, not a single extra nm is needed nor would it help.

They didn't say it was immediate lol. Its gonna take a little to get it all together. You say it's not able to wokr with Xbox as if we can all use it with it right now. Thats not true lol. Just finally going to be able to shortly. But it could be 6 months before anything gets released for it or unlocked.

I own the Invicta wheelbase, Forte wheel, and round button box and wheel. Really wants the Invicta wheel but I can’t justify paying 1300 bucks plus.

Mid range? Its a 1k dollar wheelbase lol. The only wheelbases more are simucube and aseteks flagship products and onpy by a little the simucube pro2 is like 100 or 1200. The asetek invicta is like 1200 to 1300. I'm sry 1k dollars is not mid range especially for a 15nm wheelbase jnstwad of a 25 to 27nm wheelbase. Even the simagic ultimate is 1k dollars lol. I can legit get an asetek forte 18nm wheelbase with a wheel for the same price as the dd+ with a wheel. Its high end not budget or mid range sry. I love my dd+ and my simagic ultimate but I'm getting asetek also 😉

I wouldn't touch FANATEC products with a barge pole as their tech support team will ghost you when faults develop with the equipment supplied whilst still under warranty!

I don’t have any problems with the oscillation anymore even after I let it go I could hit a curb other than the feedback no oscillation at all. The difference in force feedback was also very noticeable for me. And I’m not very happy with MOZA right now for a completely unrelated customer service situation. I told them I was going to light their ass up on TH-cam but like I sati that was a customer service issue.

Does the qr2 M base side work with DD Extreme? The type C has been knocking on direction change, so I bought the more robust version. Did I screw up?

I still do not understand why would I assemble a sim rig for the same price I can buy an old car and go rallying IRL. 20yo Golf going 40mph on a dirt road gave me more adrenaline than a world record in Dirt Rally 2 (played on G29).

I am impressed that they take the time to do it right contrary to many who delivers racing games full of bugs! I hope they will support Fanatec Full Force. It will help Corsair selling their Fanatec gear and improve the line.

Great video bro! I was looking at purchasing this wheel last week. eBay has a couple of them for sale. I like the style of this wheel but I have never driven with it. Was hoping the Microcenter here in Cambridge Massachusetts would have this wheel in stock.m to check out in person. Unfortunately, they no longer have this wheel. 😢 Do you own SimSport gadget? I purchase products from them all the time. Incredible fast shipping and great service. I just purchased an Asetek wheel QR mount today!

You can bolt any wheel to the hub, but none of the buttons will work. You might aswell bolt a trashcan lid to it...

I just got mine and it is a solid buy. i upgraded from the g29 and must say wow what a difference it is with both steering and the pedals.

It's a nice looking Wheel but i don't like the placement of the six lower Buttons. My favorite Wheel is the M4 GT3.

My G29 has been rock solid, but want more detail and I have been looking to move to DD PS compatibility has me interested in the Logi DD, now with wheel options they might get a order from me.

in 2006 I started with simracing on Logitewch MOMO. Then I switched to G25 and after the drive fell apart to G27. At that time, they were quite decent products, but the company fell asleep in development. Plastic construction, weak FFB sent me to the Fanatec brand. This was a completely different level of workmanship, quality and functionality. Well, the development continued. A year and a half ago I switched to a DD R9 steering wheel from Moza. The DD base from Logitech and the accessories connected to it are a bargain. No one can buy that for that money. I think Logitech messed it up, they didn't follow developments especially during the COVID years. If they want to continue selling, they must remain in the basic range of products at reasonable prices. Even Fanatec messed it up and rescue by Corsair....We'll see, f. Corsair is known for the high prices of its products. With brands like Moza, Asetek...they will have a very difficult time today.

Now I just want a motorized brake pedal.

This is good for sim racers as Fanatec is where the largest percentage of non pro sim racers would go when they were ready to move above the gear offered by Logitech and Thrustmaster and buy into an ecosystem that offered multiple choices and tiers of gear that would all interchange and be plug-n-play. Recently the issues and problems within the Fanatec operation had led to poor shipping and customer service which was hurting the brands reputation but Corsair brings with it the structure, the distribution and retail logistics and the resources to put Fanatec back too being considered a top tier supplier for both entry level and mid level gear as well. A lot higher percentage of sim racers overall are looking to spend more in the $750-$1250 range for their wheelbase, rim and pedals combined than those that are willing to drop $3000 plus and in many cases quite a bit more so that upper low end and mid range gear is where the sales numbers and market share is large enough to where the real profits are made in the sim gear market. I think Fanatec will be just fine and actually a lot better once they have fully adopted to the transition and the changes the new owners will bring into the fold.

You know what’s wrong with Logitechs new wheels. They won’t deliver to over seas stationed military. I tried to order the whole package wheel, base, pedals. And shifter go to check out and boom no deliver to APO addresses. To bad for me sucks I want it.

I just ordered one a few days ago and can't wait for it to come in. Cube controls and asetek now have a custom invicta adapter that plugs into the 4 pin port inside the hub on the back of the wheel so no usb is needed.
