Lisa seems to really enjoy on your trip when she has purpose/goals that require study/work and routines. You could look into cooking classes, Muay Thai classes, language classes, fitness camps. So Josh can get some new experiences in a new/fun location, but with a sense of routine/purpose for Lisa. It seems like it causes you both a lot of stress when your next destination or route is unknown. I've watched almost all your videos - so slow travel - 10-14 days in a single area/city while accomplishing some goals may be a good balance. I've traveled to 54 countries over years, and found the best balance for me is 2-3 months in one spot with AirBnb (or just contact directly after getting contact through AirBnb), then taking short trips from my base. Just some suggestions.
Agreed on this - we've been thinking about this a lot. It really brings her into the trip - just kinda wandering around sightseeing usually makes us pretty lazy on our travel days, but having a quest seems to bring out the best in us. I think the uncertainty stressing us out is mostly from TH-cam honestly - it's hard enough to find and craft an interesting video when we DO know where we are going, let alone when we have NO idea where we are headed lol. Agreed on the slow travel piece - that's our focus for 2022 for sure. Thank you so much for watching our videos, and for the great and super helpful and thoughtful comment. I think a fitness camp, or surf camp, is in our near future...
Can’t wait to get back to Thailand! I miss diving in the ocean so much.

Ha man - it's HOT here, I kinda miss the snow lol!
Josh how was those french fries 🍟? Rating as a fry connoisseur around the world. 🤔
Really great! But, the best we've had so far were still the fries from the korean chicken place in Koh Samui!
Would love to learn how to scuba diving. But I don't know how to swim. 😛
Definitely best to start with learning how to swim :) i bet you could find someone to teach you there!
My girlfriend was there about 15 years ago this time of the year, we expected crystal clearwater instead of swimming in coffee.. --:)
Ha yeah - it was not the best visibility right then, but we can't control that :)
Nice vlog but should really consider SSI diving a lot more professional.😄
We've always found PADI to be very professional! Why do you prefer SSI over PADI?
