It's the island in Thailand that's known for scuba diving, with tons of options for exploring the underwater paradise that is the Gulf of Thailand. There are tons of activities to do on Koh Tao, but scuba diving has to be the main one. We are now ready to take our travels to the next level, and see more of the underwater world! You mentioned Australia for diving. I am also a diver if you go Australia make sure u visit fiji Island is only 4 hours from Australia. I know u will enjoy it. I been to Australia n fiji several times. My accommodation are free when I visit Fiji, my dad is from Fiji lol.

OMGosh...I've been wanting to get diver certified since I met a German dive instructor back in 2015 from Koh Tao at a hostel I was staying at in Bangkok. He told me he loved working on that island so much! I'm seriously considering signing up through your link, but would like to complete the 3 days around the third week in August before I head back to the US on the 28th of that month. What would you suggest as far as staying there? I would be coming from Phuket...any suggestions you two have would be greatly appreciated.
Oh wow!!! Koh Tao is definitely the island to get certified in Thailand. We really had the best time there, the marine life is incredible! Koh Tao is a pretty small island, and I would suggest staying at the West side of the island, the side on the island where the pier is. We booked a private room in a hostel, which was perfect for us. They can rent you a scooter at most hostels and you’re on your way! Hope this helps!
@@DennyandNikki, thank you for getting back to me so fast! I'm talking to my Thai friend where I stay here in Phuket, and he's going to let me know the cheapest, best way to get from here to there. I will figure out how my schedule is going to work out, and will hopefully sign up for this soon! That's a pretty damn good price for getting diver certified, along with the discount! ❤❤
I have an suggestion for you, Moalboal. I've snorkeled with the sardines there, but I think diving would be incredible! I just watched an TH-cam video of a guy that was diving there in 2019 when I was last there snorkeling, and it looked amazing. He has some great video of diving with turtles, lots of beautiful coral and a lot of really colorful fish. It's a fairly quiet area, too, or at least it was back then, and I think with covid, it still is!
