At this point, I see a Japanese name, a cool album cover, and a date from the 1970s I click. Simple as.
Real
Easy peasy
Guys will look at this and will think, Hell yeah!😂
No need to think, just click and most likely enjoy.
This dudes album “Funky Stuff” should be clicked on too… 👀
youtube literally has a better music selection than spotify. I feel like I'm walking through an old record store
With you bro. on this!!!!
TH-cam and Bandcamp are the best spaces to find any kinds of dope music
That’s a perfect analogy!!
Definitely agree. I believe that Spotify is more on mainstream or anyway music for young generations. If you are looking for gems like this TH-cam is the place
@@CasualPr0ductions they even put the Japanese titles songs
My father forced me to listen to jazz music when I was young... well, dad, I'm here voluntarily and enjoying every minute of it... RIP 🙏

Sometimes the things you can find at 2am are truly wonderful
Yesssss! Now I can finally score my life as a 70s buddy cop movie.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Big faxx
I've got 4000 downloaded songs on the Apple Music app and 7000 tracks saved on my Spotify, and yet the TH-cam algorithm never disappoints. What a gem! Thank you so much Yum Yam for what you're doing
Google tech makes the difference
wtf that's like 1TB of music
2023....a black man here showing love....this album is AMAZING
That bass tone in the first song! So raw.
it's a cover of The Crusaders: th-cam.com/video/J84IiZ6WfGI/w-d-xo.html
First thing I noticed when I popped this album on was that the bass sounded so real. Like I was sitting with the wood right in my hands.
I hate to say that but would totally make a wonderfull G funk sample, straight early Dr Dre and Snoop vibe...
He was probably using some kind of a harmonizer to add a little octave below
@@kicksNCY I was thinking the same thing
Blues, groove, soul, jazz and I’d even argue reggae too are the pinnacle of all music. Unfortunately most people don’t realise or appreciate it until they get older.
Thanks once again youtube for guiding me through albums and artists I've never heard of. This is one smooth album!
Look for the flying beagle album
Q
Indeed smooth
@@elyisus8145 what is the flying beagle album?
Hi yes samurai jazz ,cutting it deep.
This is why i love TH-cam.
Same 👍
Finding this album opened me up to a whole world of 70s Japanese jazz funk. Which is cool. Jiro definitely was listening to and digging his Crusaders records!
Same!
This made me so relaxed, I took a nap feeling happy, woke up 2 hours later feeling happy, and now I'm cooking and still happy AF. Just puts you in such a good mood! Love love love this one.

Takeshi Kamachi _electric piano
Akira Okazawa _bass
Takashi Imai _trombone
Hajime Ishimatsu _drums

they all are phenomenal, but the bass-player deserves a special place in my heart
@@pikpik42 Same here. Akira Okazawa is phenomenal
Thankyou so much. I've been trying to figure out who was playing guitar.
Thanx 😎
Спасибо Ютубу за крутые видео которые, я бы сам никогда не искал! Нереально красиво и драйвово!
Perfect playlist for driving home after waking up early to go fishing, not catching a damn thing, and you lost your favorite lure. LOL
...and it's a perfect playlist for any other occasion, too. :-)
So cool. Jazz is always good. Thanks TH-cam for guiding me to this album. It's a very nice Sunday's night. ,,, From Korea
japanese jazz is one of the best jazz in the world
In 1973, our 6th grade music teacher used to play this album and many others during class. Thank you, Mr. Abrams for introducing me to jazz.

I literally love all Japanese.
This is awesome country and culture.
People are so respective to each other's and their environment.
This is the kind of music you listen to when you read Murakami!
would have never thought Japanese musicians knew what funky jazz was much less mastered it with this 6 man ensemble....this is truly a masterpiece especially considering it was 1973. very cleanly and professionally recorded to boot! Thank you YY and youtube for making it available
japanese do everything with great precision and a "make it last" mindset

1973 was the best year for so much musik.
I just discovered Jiro Ingaki as I went out for a lunch and heard my neighbour playing Papa Hooper's Barrel House Groove out loud. I was like, wow what is this good music, I had to Shazam it! I'm so glad to have found it!
Great neighbor!
@@The_G_in_Jesus Gabor Szabo is a legend (to me at least - was profoundly inspired by his life story), I love his music so much! love to see a fellow fan. I love Galatea's Guitar, Stormy and the Ferris Wheel in particular.
Happy 50 years!
So there I am it’s 1am and I’ve just rolled a respectable joint. I fire up ole TH-cam looking for something and I take a chance on this BANGER 🔥💰 thank you algorithm gods
I've never been on a cruise ship full of swingers from the 70s.
But I feel like I am right now
WOW, all I keep thinking is how do I not already know about this?
Misterious and pure hidden unknown gem. Music is awesome.
If you are diving down the 70’s Japanese jazz wormhole, check out Hiroshi Suzuki’s ‘Romance’
You are welcome 👊🏻
Interesting. I have noticed that the algorithm tends to put me down rabbit holes. Not just on youtube, on stuff like ig and tiktok as well
einfach fantastisch... vielen dank :)
Great stuff, reminiscing of The Meters
Japan has its own groove, so original.
I'm beyond grateful for discovering this gem of an artist 💯

I pledge my groove allegiance to The Funk, and this dude is my countryman.
Masterpiece i stumble upon on this rainy Sunday afternoon here in Croatia

Wicked. Stumbled across this when QPR were losing 3-0 to Barnsley and I decided there had to be more to life than losing again and listening to live commentary. There is. This is it. Top stuff! DJJD Hackney 27/10/2020 The whole year is covidy.

what an incredible artist.... second album from him I listen, it's very good, fine and full of sensitivity, with a good groove, it's light and full of textures in same time
A friend of mine links this in an email, thinks I’ll dig it. And now it’s on me to pass it on. Top shelf grooves here.
Incredible, this Japanese legend so underrated
Just like Arthur Verocai
Thanks TH-cam great songs!
This is a really, really good album, a classic from 1973.
thats one of the reason why You Tube comes so useful: new musicians uve never heard from anywhere else
01. That's "How the Crusaders Feel" :) Awesome sound. Every bit as nuanced and richly textured as the Crusaders. It gets deep into you. There are a lot of fans who are very grateful Hiro picked up the baton! Awesome band.
Aquele som atemporal que transcende as gerações.

I have thought this, myself. Brilliant stuff
7:30 original composition by Armando Manzanero being covered by Elvis Presley and now I see that by Jiro Inagaki, I am Mexican but this is one of the strangest things I have come to find
An honor obviously by Presley and Inagaki to play
