Batman: TAS is the best and it's impact will live on for generations to come. To me it's more of a dramatic show because of the incredible talent the show had with the likes of John Vernon, Ron Perlman, Diana Muldur, Joseph Campanella, Adam West, Efrem Zimbalist Jr., Harry Hamlin, Richard Moll, Ed Asner, Robert Costanzo, Bob Hastings, Michael Ansara, Mark Hamill, Richard Moll, Paul Williams, Brock Peters, Diane Pershing, Arleen Sorkin, Brad Garrett, Loren Lester, Michael York, Marc Singer, Adrienne Barbeau, Treat Williams, John Glover, David Warner, Helen Slater, Roddy McDowall, Aron Kincaid, George Dzundza who all had theater, TV, movie experience that really helped make this show so successful. To get these actors, actresses to take part in a show like this is once in a life time and it can never ever be replicated again. This show will stand the test of time.
What a coincidence percance to dream is always been my favorite episode. I love Mad Hatter as a villain and the episode just grabs you and shows you how mentally tough Batman actually is. It showed that even in a paradise dreamworld he couldn’t live a lie and would fight to get out of it to pursue fighting crime and avenge his parents.
I wonder how conscious the change in Batman's voice was over time. From the beginning of BTAS to JLU his voice gets cleaner and more stoic to me, it's softer at the beginning and sounds like it has more overtones. The art style changes in a similar way. I also feel like Bruce and Batman got less distinct
I liked his darker tone to Bruce over the years. It really showed how Bruce was really the mask for Batman, if that makes sense. Rather than Batman being Bruce’s mask.
They said that it was intentional....after the stylistic change in TNBA and the emphasis more on the Bat Family, Batman had to go a brim more grim and darker in juxtaposition with Batgirl, Tim Drake's Robin and Nightwing etc...

How bout you start treating your workers with respect of just sell your company to people who will make movies the fans actually want. Cavill deserves better than how you've been treating him along with so many amazing actors. Administration needs to get booted and replaced with people who make better choices.
They're called adaptations. They asked for permission from the writers of the stories and credited them. They also hired comic writers who wanted to work with them, like Marv Wolfman, Gerry Conway, Dwayne McDuffie, Warren Ellis, Gail Simone, etc.
