This is really great. But what about very specific places, such as "a conference room" or "a classroom". I would use "in" for these areas even though they are small. For example, "I think this photo was taken in a classroom" or "I think this photo was taken "in a conference room." So, I would add quite small places to the general area of this diagram.

Why do you use “at the bottom” then ?
Is the “bottom” a very specific place ?
Why do we say “I live in a small house” instead of “at” or “on” a small house ?
Is the small house “large” enough to justify the use of “in” ?

"Where are you AT?" "AT (or IN, referring to INside) my house" | "Where are you in/on?" sounds wrong, only AT sounds right. Meaning the person is looking where EXACTLY is the other
"Where are they?" "ON TOP of the mountain". It sounds wrong when you say "They are IN top of the mountain" and means different when saying "They are IN the mountain" Though one would say "They're AT THE TOP of the mountain" notice how ON TOP doesn't have the word THE unlike at THE top of the mountain. it sounds wrong when "They're AT TOP of the mountain" unlike "They're ON TOP of the mountain" | "Where do you live?" I live ON/AT/IN the mountain" all three words sounds correct which I believe it is
It also sounds right when "Where is it?" "It's IN/ON the cupboard" because you could place things ON TOP or INside the cupboard but not AT because it the cupboard has two different places, not one. However, the item in question could still be ON the cupboard even if it is placed WITHIN the cupboard because by my probably flawed logic, the item is placed or is sitting ON TOP of the cupboard's base. Therefore, "It's AT THE cupboard" COULD still be correct. "Where is he?" "He's AT Starbucks" sounds correct which it is but SOUNDS wrong if "He's AT cupboard/s" but correct if "He's at THE cupboard"
    I'm out >_>

I believe there is an exception when talking about buildings, like houses, apartments, stores, etc.
"At the building" generally means you are in front of or somewhere outside it, as opposed to "in the building," which specifically means you are inside.

Dear Mrs. Rebecca: thank you so much for your wonderful work, being always very clear and specific while explaining all the lessons I've already seen from you. Besides, your manners and voice are so sweet and pleasant. I am a very visual learner and your notes on the board are very helpful to me.
In using prepositions, I learned long ago the idea of "The Triangle Method", but I still confuse in some cases, as "I'm not sure when to consider a place as a specific, medium, or large" area... sometimes.
E.g.: JFK Airport is a specific place, so we should use AT (is a specific place, but bigger than my village, where we should use IN, or bigger than "the 6th floor of a hotel", where we should use ON)... and that's my struggle. Thank you.

    7) She lives at 265 Queen St. in London.
"at" in this case is used because we're saying where she lives, right? if I said "She's on 265 Queen St.", meaning she's just waiting someone there or taking a walk, would it be right?

    Many laudatery comments : congrats!
I agree with all them !
Everything seems so easy when you explain...
    However, I was wondering sth.
For instance I drive to the airport.
I'm still in my car at the airport and I'm looking for irs car park. Don't I drive in the airport ?
You have another question with "in the classroom" when you are at the specific spot like a school.
I suppose that we can use the triangle method for the specific spot, can't we?
I would be grateful to get an answer.
(I am imagining à big triangle, and à smaller triangle, and other smaller triangles to play with "at" and "in"!
