I look for the personality, and the color. If they run to me, and interact, and playful. It must be spunky, funny, and a great personality.
I think that is perfect for somebody who wants a great social dog.
In a little over a week I'm going to have a much smaller version of this amazing breed of dog. I found your channel after picking my sweet puppy and you have been a huge wealth of knowledge. Love these videos! I have 2 golden doodles and love this breed! The first one was available because her family took a pup from an earlier litter.I saw her pic on the breeder’s website and applied for her. A week later she came to us. The second doodle was applied for almost a year before we brought him home. I wanted a small dog and he was the smallest (weight-wise) the day we picked. I also had my eye on another in that litter so it was tough. Practically same temperament, but the breeder said the smallest one was very people-oriented - when the techs came in to crate them at night, he was always right there and never had to be hunted down. He loved being around the techs and people! He became my puppy. He is the very best and I love him very much! He wants to be with me. My husband is an animal and little kid magnet so it is very important to me that my dog is bonded with me.

I picked out my puppy at the shelter, she was only 7 weeks old, there people waiting hoping we would change our mind. She’s a BorderCollie/GSP….a hard working 20 month old girl, we call her Molly❤️.

Great question !! We go in order of deposits. So everyone coming knows their choosing order before they come. And if someone is disappointed they can always wait until another litter.

When I picked my puppy, I chose my puppy because the shyness in my puppy. I knew he'd eventually come out of it. He did and is very active but obedient. He was easy to train (basic comments).

That is exciting!!!! For a mini doodle I would do a 24 inch crate or a 30 inch crate.
How long after mom leaves do you start feeding the puppy mush?

Do you sell the new puppy pee pads separately and would they fit the original potty pans with the shelving and trays? Thinking about ordering 4 of the new potty trays for our future litters which will be in a couple of months

@@DoodlesofNC we breed mini teddy bear English Goldendoodle puppies. We only have the English Creme golden retriever in our lines. We are in NJ but maybe moving to Tennessee in the near future. Do I go on your website to order the pee pads and new potty pans?
@NC Doodles How much do you charge for a puppy just curious? Do you really try to find a good home, and follow up to make sure they are not being neglected ect.
Our puppies are 3400. We have an application process in which we then do a phone interview and talk about confident about letting them have one of our puppies.

Getting a puppy in about a year and I am so stressed about puppy picking. I just don’t know how to pick personality traits in an hour with all the puppies and people. I feel like the breeder might do a better job
A lot of times the breeder can give you great insight. What type of puppy are you getting?!
Hello I know you have answer that you guys pay the families that are the guardians for the females , they get paid per puppy but what about the male dogs . What do they get?
Great question. They get paid for each female they breed with.
Why are taken away from their mom so soon?
They have plenty of socialization with their grandma and to wean the puppies its easier on mom.

Ok so I have a standard poodle that has 10 4 wk old assiedoodle. U never say anything about there bodies being yucky at this point why not and what do u do about it 5:43

Please ADOPT! Go to your local shelter! Don’t sponsor breeders! Imagine as a woman, being forced to give birth every 40 weeks! That’s what they do to dogs! They forced them into pain, and threaten their lives just to make money!💔
Yes let's support backyard breeders by going to a shelter. Rather than people who pour themselves into their dogs and do everything imaginable to ensure a healthy animal. Yes let's reduce the population to street dogs........😒

@@sunnyinnv to be clear most dogs at shelters were not “bred” at all. They are just the result of irresponsible owners. But yes of course you know nothing of their background or parents health. That being said many many dogs and cats from shelters go on to make wonderful pets.
Breeding doodles is not responsible. Ask yourself why they are breeding. They certainly are doing it to improve the breed because it’s not a ‘breed’. It’s a mixed breed mutt tgat they charge thousands for. What clearances are they doing on the parents. purebred Labradors get around 25 expensive genetic tests now to be cleared for breeding purposes. People who are actual responsible breeders are breeding to show their dogs and to protect and improve that breed. They stand behind their dogs and will take them back at anytime in their life- no questions asked. They want to be sure that no dog they bred ever goes into a dog pound. Most show dogs are not bred more than three times and often less. Then they are retired. They get the very best medical care and the very best food. These doodle people are breeding for one reason and one reason only. Soon the shelters will be full if doodles - wait and see.
Breeding healthy well tempered dogs is going to save dogs as an entire domestic species! Leaving it up to anxious temperamental inbred shelter dogs is not always the best! I love my Craigslist mutt but wish I could have afforded a well bred golden doodle.
