  • I made this nostalgic paper card game for a friend's birthday. I recall making these as a child with friends; it was always such fun.
In Europe, particularly during the Victorian era (1837-1901), paper crafts and games became popular. Children and young adults often made their own toys and games from paper, including folded paper fortune-telling devices. These were often used at social gatherings and parties.

This is such a lovely idea, Cleo! I used to love making these folded games when I was little and it's always a good idea to remember how we got inspired with little things :) The lettering from the last picture is amazing! I agree with you that sometimes when you are filming something you focus more on getting the right angle and all about it, but maybe if you just leave the camera on, without changing the angle, recording you painting would be a good way? Your videos are always so inspiring and I would love to see more :) Thank you!

Thank you, Andrea ❤ that is a good idea, I’ll try and do that - put it on one angle and press record. I suppose with more practice I should get better at doing that.

Maybe if you can’t film the next video you can film just the first part like you already did and then the finished product

That is a great idea. I’ll try and record it on one angle and if that doesn’t work I’ll do your suggestion :)
