Ha! I’ve still got a set of the old foundation paints, that I’m still using. And plenty of the older Citadel pots. Sadly most of the screw top pots dried out over time.
I'm glad there is still someone like me about, a paint hoarder :). Sadly most of my older pots are now useless. I was going to do a rant video on GW making pots to deliberately fail but I don't want to be seen as a whining old man, very sad really as I still have some really old pots that are fine and the colours where great.
Thanks for the comment, I shall take it positively. I sadly am old enough to have looked into many flames and of course you are correct. However this is a gaming piece and I think I did a good enough job.
What a great looking fireplace, and the use of the speed paints on fire is top notch.
Thank you, that comment has made my day. Wasn't sure how the speedpaints where going to blend btw, watched a few critical reviews about them on here.
I used gravelord grey speed paint to paint the stonework and it also came out looking great.
That’s good to know. I will have to acquire a pot. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment
Love the picture, that gave me a great laugh. I do love my foundation paints, some of the best paints GW ever made.
Yes GW have made some good stuff over the year. The pots well that's another story.
@@DecrepitGaming Better than the screw tops but thats a low bar to measure them against. :)

It looks great, thanks for the video.
Thank you for your kind words, I hope you are beavering away :)
@@DecrepitGaming Thanks, I am indeed.
Hey DG, I thought I should let you know that the brightest part of a flame is it's center (or bottom in this case).
