One of my favorite features in the kindle is the dictionary integrated. Once in a while I’ll be reading a book and a word or two will come up that I have never heard before. Instead of looking up the word on my phone I love to just highlight the word and click on dictionary. Then it gives you the definition without having to look away to a different screen. That’s exactly how I am! I bring it to unreasonable places where I pretty much know I won’t be able to read “just in case” 🤣 Glad you love it as much as I do📚✨
Well, my first Kindle (2014) made me sell all my physical books and today with 4 ereaders (kindles and kobos) I have no regrets whatsoever. I have read more since then (including in different languages), they don’t require any space, no shelves, so much to talk about the convenience and the only thing I miss about physical books is the smell of it which I can enjoy it every time I go to a bookstore to check on new stuff.
Yes, I love this!! So life changing. I’m with you on the smell of books! I was in the bookstore yesterday admiring all the pretty covers and saying how good the pages smell. It’s almost tempting to buy them but I realistically know that I wouldn’t pick them up but I do read on my e-readers daily! Thanks for watching💕📚
I love books. I collect them. However, with that being said, as a severe fibromyalgia sufferer and a traveler, if I can only choose one, I'm going with team Kindle. Large books like the 1500 page Count of Monte Cristo don't travel well and would be impossible for me too hold up in bed. They are just too heavy. I love being able to carry around books on a very lightweight device. My Kindle goes everywhere with me. I like reading classic books and books from the 1700s and 1800s, so the built in dictionary is great for unknown old words. My eyes aren't the greatest either, so being able to make the font bigger is a huge plus! Kindles are waterproof where books are not; I can take my Kindle to the beach or pool. I can get a book instantly on my kindle, no need to drive to a store, and many are free from my library. I think it's all about doing what works for you and what you like.
Such great points and reasons why the Kindle is wonderful! It certainly is helpful in the case of a 1,500 page book!! It’s definitely what works best for each person but I love sharing how much the Kindle has benefitted my life (a lot of similar reasons you mentioned here). Thank you for watching and happy reading! 🩷📚
I just watched your video and it was very well done. I want to give a shout-out to your #9 reason about customizing your Kindle. I’m getting older so my eyes are getting a bit worse. Before Covid I was checking out large print books from the library to read. Unfortunately the selection wasn’t great and then Covid hit. No more Library. My lovely wife bought me a Kindle, don’t know what version it is but when I started it I couldn’t see the words. I grumbled but again my wife showed me how to do that pinch-zoom thing and it makes the words bigger!!! Happy day! I’m off to the races to read. I figured out the WiFi and now can download my own books and make the words as big as I need. No more library trips. If you want to save a lot of money and travel time plus save your eyes for old age get a Kindle. You’ll love it!! Thanks for the video. All the reasons I agree with
Awe, thank you so much for this nice comment! I’m so happy that you enjoyed the video and am glad that the Kindle has improved your reading experience so much as well😊📚
Love your video! Nice to relate to someone on Booktube. I'm a new mom and have picked reading back up as a hobby too. I utilize my Kindle and loval library but some videos don't feel relatable on TH-cam bc everyone does huge book hauls and that just doesn't fit my lifestyle.
You’re so kind! Thank you for watching and welcome to my channel🤗 Also, congrats on becoming a mom!! That’s so exciting! I’m glad you found reading during this season and can relate to my reading content💕
E are on the same team I love my Kindle. I have 523 books on mine, and just 55 fav physical is changed. My reading progress is so comfortable to read in bed I can have it with me everywhere and have access to all my books 😍 Hoping for more kindle related content ❤
Ahhh, another Kindle girl!! Yes, they’re amazing! Based on your comment another pro is that they hold a TON of books! Imagine 523 physical books🤣 Thank you for watching🥰 More reading content to come!
i’m studying literature and highlighting things on my kindle is a life-saver. i can write my essays and stuff so much quicker since i just need to scroll a little to find the quotes i need and then i can open the app on my computer and copy-paste them, saving a lot of time. i also find myself saving so much money because i read all the time 😂 i still buy some physical books because i don’t think i can ever quit the feeling of actually holding them, but the kindle is so convenient that i buy less and less physical copies and i’m thriving!
I love this soooo much! 🙌🏻🎉 You have such a great system down!! I wish I would’ve know about all of this when I was in college! I have my sister buying all of her textbooks on Kindle now for this same reason🫶🏻
I so appreciate all the work you have put into this video and later you will have to go and redo your changes you just made for us to show as examples.💜💜 Thank you!
My kindle is only a week old, I never thought I would love it as much as I do…. I bought a kindle cover that opens like a book so I still feel I am reading a book, but it’s so light to hold …I bought about 4 kindle books to start..I ,once not having to wear my reading glasses, and the light at night is another great feature, I don’t disturb my husband
Isn’t it amazing?! I was shocked too but as soon as you get one it’s easy to understand why they are so great. Thanks for watching and happy reading📚🫶🏻
I still like (& collect) physical books but 50% of my reading is on my kindle, 40% audiobooks, & 10% or less hard copy. Love my kindle. FYI Kindles (not fire ones) are _front_ lit digital ink, phones & other computer screen devices are _back_ lit. That is why the light can be completely turned off in the kindles.
You did a good job on this video I actually have all three I have the Oasis as well and I love it but the basic I love the size and the paperwhite is just beautiful!😁❤

To discuss the first thing you talk about in this video, I'd just like to say. I LOVE nonfiction. It's probably a close 2nd if not tied with first, genres of mine. I mostly love recounts of tragedies that one has gone through, or a disaster, or an event like Hurricane Katrina, etc. There's just something about nonfiction being something that is tangible about it ; it is an actual gone-through experience. I completely understand feeling like you have to tho. It's nice to just enjoy what you want to enjoy.
That’s incredible!! I do like real stories too and I have nothing against nonfiction at all. I actually love reading memoirs. ✨ I was actually referring specifically to personal development/self-help books but it came out as nonfiction because I was trying to summarize quickly 😅 (since it wasn’t the point in the video but was also a huge component of how I got back into reading). Don’t get me wrong, I love personal development books, but I put myself in that prison of always feeling like you need to be productive and that’s just not what I wanted to read right before bed so I just wasn’t reading💔 So “allowing myself” to read whatever I wanted plus getting a Kindle has been life changing for me! Thank you for sharing your experience and what you like to read😊📚
I bought my first Kindle 12 years ago. 4th Gen. Back then, Kindles weren't the fingerprint magnets that most of them are today. So, when I went for an "upgrade," I went for the Basic White, a couple of years ago. The latest models are _all_ fingerprint prone, so I won't be upgrading again, any time soon. In fact, I've just bagged a pristine 4th Gen on eBay, (I miss the buttons) which I'll be using indoors without a case and will keep the 10th Gen White, in a case for going out and about and travelling. I've never had waterproof Kindle and have always read in the bath. Actually, the "progress in book" feature really bugs me, as you can't lock it/shut it down completely. I'd prefer _not_ to have it, or at least be able to "lock" it, as I find myself continually activating it while I'm reading. It should be a simple enough option to include as a basic feature. But, I wouldn't be without my Kindle. I rarely read "real" books these days, unless I'm gifted one!
Thank you for sharing your experiences with the Kindle! I definitely notice that my Paperwhite is more fingerprint prone than my white 2019 basic Kindle! Do you ever experience issues with buying older models regarding them being glitchy or anything? I’m definitely curious about this! I agree that it’s probably an easy add for them to allow turning off the progress feature. I toggle it on and off depending on how I’m feeling but sometimes I agree it can be pressure or stress inducing.
@@withlovesavana Hi there. No, so issues with it being glitchy. The 4th Gen is as good as new and I'm chuffed to bits with it. The only thing is, that you can't access the Kindle Store on it anymore. But then, I rarely, if ever do, preferring to buy books from the Store on my P.C. and send them OTA to both Kindles at once. I did have a bit of a scary moment, when I first set it up, as I sent my entire Library to the 4th Gen and nothing happened, but I restarted it and all of the books appeared in my "Archived Folder." I've organized all of my books into "Collections," on the 10th Gen, but sadly, that doesn't seem to transfer to the 4th Gen, so I'm leaving books in the Archived Folder and transferring them to the Home Page when I begin reading. Fortunately, I totally love the "Whispersync" option, which works perfectly on both devices! 😉😉
@@neorich59 This is incredible! Thank you for answering. I can definitely see this information coming in handy in the future. It could also be very useful to someone right now who prefers an older model but is wondering the same thing. I almost never purchase books directly from my Kindle either so I don't find that to be a dealbreaker. 🙂
Has to be one of the best reviews, so far. ❤ Plus, the dictionary feature has got to be a big game changer too. Also, wanted to ask do you use a screen protector with the kindle?
Thank you!! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I LOVE the built-in dictionary😍 I realized I didn’t include it when I was editing and couldn’t believe it because it’s one of my favs🤭 I do use a screen protector! I find it helpful since I carry it everywhere. great review. may I ask: Do you use some protective shield on your kindles? I heard that getting scratches is more easily than with prior kindle generations
I got a kindle in I think 2011 and love it best Christmas gift ever. Sure I don't have same kindle anymore but with out the first kindle I would never have the one I do now. I love everything about it
Oh wow, you were an original Kindle girl!! Yes, they’re seriously amazing. I’m trying to read a physical book right now for a book club that a friend let me borrow and it’s been a miserable experience in comparison😂🤪 Like I loved my Kindle before but I appreciate it even more now if that’s even possible.
Yes! I’ve never done it but I know people who have. PDFs are fine but you have to convert the epubs first. I Googled it to make sure and there are instructions on how to do it😊 I hope this helps!
I was like thinking like why doesn't my book fit into my Lululemon bag and like got irritated and like just like went to the pool to like you know relax and calm down but like I couldn't like see the book because like the sun was like too bright so I was like I'll be brighter and lik I held the book over my h ad but like the book got like heavy and i like dropped it in a puddle from the pool i was like someone has to have these common problems so I like researched it to be honest productive and you like literally solved my problems. Literally literally literally like seriously literally
I’m not much of a reader but I do love fiction books that help me in every day life and even Korean learning books. What’s keeping me from getting a kindle is that Korean books are sometimes workbooks and you can’t do workbooks on a kindle. Lol yes you can take notes and highlight I think but that’s it
Maybe check into the Kindle Scribe! It’s new and made for reading, writing, journaling, etc. It has a pen that you use with it. It’s definitely a higher price point but might be closer to what you’re looking for!
For me there are 2 big reasons for getting an e-reader: 1- I dont get ansious seeing the pages left so I can enjoy every page. 2- its so light I can ready while cooking, playing with my dog, walking, using the toilet etc
Not typically but I’d like to someday! I think it’s a really awesome feature but I just never take the time to actually use it. Word Wise would be great for second languages! I never really thought about that but I love it!
Savana, you are doing a very good job with your videos. But you can improve you audio (you have a lot of echo in the room). You probably are using the camera mic or your camera is far away. One cheap way you can fix this is with lavalier mic connected to an old phone (so you record the audio separtly) or if you camera support it, experimient with a external Shotgun mic) I wish you the best! I hope you get millions of views!
Hello and thank you so much for the tips! I’m really just figuring this out as I go along so I appreciate the constructive advice😊 In this video, I am using a Rode shotgun mic but you’re right that it’s possibly too far away. Now that I’m aware of it, I’ll have to work on experimenting to improve it! Thanks again for commenting and I appreciate you watching!!
@@withlovesavana I recently watched a video about the Kindle Scribe. The reviewer had *two* PopSockets on it due to its size and being used in portrait and landscape.
Awe yay, you’re going to love it!! You definitely don’t need to go on vacation for it to be beneficial haha. Most of the time I’m just reading in my house before bed🤪
🤣 Mainly just to illustrate that you have the world of books on one little device vs carrying around or storing a bunch of physical books but I see how this is probably true😂😅

Haha, hey whatever works!! Over the last few months I’ve actually gotten more into them too! I’m usually just a podcast girl but I love them so much for mindless tasks like driving, laundry, etc. 😊
@@withlovesavana yes! I’m currently in college for my masters and whenever I take a study break, I listen to an audiobook for 10-20 minutes and then go back to studying. Or if I’m editing a paper I’ll put my headphones in a listen to a few chapters
That’s the best study break idea! It’s a perfect mix of “productive” and enjoyable. I’ve been trying to get into the habit of reading a few pages as a break too rather than picking up my phone. It’s a tough habit to break but I’m getting better!
Is the basic kindle 2022 the same size as the kindel 7th gen ? I currently have it and there is NOTHING wrong and I love the fact that it’s so small, but I definitely want dark mode.
No, the 2022 version is actually a bit smaller! They’re calling it the smallest and most compact Kindle. The 2022 version is 6.2” high and 4.3” wide while the 7th generation is 6.7” high and 4.6” wide. If you’re looking to get one check tomorrow and the next day (7/11-7/12)!! They will most likely be on sale for Prime Day😊
Is the weight of the paper white like an iPhone or lighter? I have the iPhone 13 Pro and it’s heavy when reading. I want something light and not super big. I know the basic is the obvios option but I like the features on the PPW. 😂
I just looked it up and they’re almost exactly the same🤣😅 The IPhone 13 Pro is 7.0 oz and the PaperWhite is 7.3 oz. The PaperWhite MIGHT feel lighter because the weight is spread over a bigger area but idk🤷🏼♀️
As a teenager I bought lots of paperbacks. Bought hardcovers as an adult. Now at 74 I do most of my reading on a kindle. The font size is user friendly and I lack the dexterity to turn pages easily in a large hardcover (and what's with those 1,000 page blockbusters??). A confession: as an old codger, I had to throttle the speed back to 75% so I could listen to you !
Hi Mike! Those are great reasons to read on a Kindle. I’m with you on it being sooo much easier to read books with a lot of pages on a Kindle than a regular book. And the speed is not just you😅 I’ve always been told that I talk very fast!! Thank you so much for watching anyways😊
I got my Alice in Wonderland one when I was studying abroad in Japan but the Hot Girls Read one is from here: www.hotgirlsbookclub.com/?fbclid=PAAaaNd7EimsZHr8qFBtMpcaq4ST8Vz1KXIdFwSsIbV7dEGYKlpnXNKEoY9_o
I have a recommendation that may not be obvious to eReader users: Try to buy one that has a white bezel. Black/dark bezels cause eye strain, even if only minimally. There's something just 'not right' about having paragraphs of text bounded by a black border.
If you drop it on your face, you’re not gonna break your face off 😂😂😂. I have dropped phones, book’s, Ipad’s on my face and physical book’s definitely hurt the most.
Obviously that was an exaggeration😆But yes, agreed. That’s what I said. My first point is that Kindles are much lighter than physical books and I was referring to that large Atomic Habits book hurting if you dropped it. Thanks for watching!
Hey sister I'm very poor but I love to read books please can you give me any of your kindle as a giveaway, god will give you more, I just want to study and read more through one source, I can't offord too many books, plz help
Hi! I’m not doing any giveaways at the moment but I will in the future. Stay tuned! In the meantime, I recommend getting Libby and using the Kindle app on your phone or computer. Libby has tons of great e-books for free through your local library!
@@withlovesavana ok thanks for the suggestion, but my phone is not supporting any app,but when ever you do giveaways plz remember me, I'm in desperate need
You can't see a book text in strong sunlight?? You can't sell, lend or give away to a friend or charity shop a kindle book. Kindle books are CONSTANTLY more expensive than secondhand paperbacks as Amazon fix prices to the Hardback price. Factor in the cost of the kindle and for serious readers, they're a very expensive and limited gimmic. Amazon has bricked my perfectly working 2013 Kindle as they won't allow it to download the latest software. Anyway, great vid thanx!
Hi Scott, thank you for sharing your thoughts! At the beach I definitely do struggle when it’s super sunny. I still love books and agree there are nice benefits, like sharing with a friend. I personally find that Kindle books are almost always cheaper but I typically use Kindle Unlimited ($10/mo.) or “rent” the e-copies from my local library. Kindles do go on sale frequently for big holidays and Prime Day so I encourage you to look then if you are interested in upgrading! I bought my sister one a few months ago on Prime Day for $50, which is around the cost of buying 5 books new. Happy reading😊📚✨
I’m often seeing hardbacks going for £5-10 more than digital and I don’t rlly care about having a tangible book. They have near 0 second hand value as the owner and for some lesser known books, like many I read second hands go for close to new.
@@FateBoost I'm the same way! I do think books are very aesthetic but I rarely reread a book so I just prefer to have the extra space. I've had the same experience with reseller value as well. There's a local charity near me that sells used books so that's usually where I take mine when I'm in the area. Thanks for watching and happy reading🙂
@Twice As Interesting I respect your opinion/experience, but disagree with so much of this. You can lend some Kindle books (I've been on the giving and receiving end). I have thousands of books on my Kindle, and I’ve only paid for a fraction of them. I’ve never paid more than $10 for a Kindle book-there are tons of books from traditional publishers on sale and free each month. And don’t forget about the ability to borrow library books. I don’t subscribe to Kindle Unlimited but I do take advantage of their free trial offers a couple times of year and have found some good reads. I live in sunny CA, and read books outside all the time. I adjust the lighting and the background if needed. And you cannot change the print size, margin, or spacing of a traditional book which can also come in handy. And sure, technology moves on. Phones, computers, Kindles, etc., all reach a point where the software can’t be updated, but you can trade in that Kindle and get 20% off a new one. So many reasons to try a Kindle in this video. I hope those interested will try one.
@Twice As Interesting lets take the current best selling book of 2022. "It ends with us" Kindle $12.99 Amazon Hardback $14.95. If you can sell it for more than $1.96 its better value as a hardback. Obviously publishers HATE it hence why they seem to permanently be in court for inflating prices to consumers. You might want to keep some books but after a while it makes sense from a practical and financial POV to buy hard/paperbacks and sell them on or donate to your favourite charity.
Maybe! But in this video I’m discussing the Kindle (the ereader I use) experience versus the physical book experience. I’m not comparing the Kindle to other ereaders because I haven’t tried them so it’s not the point of this video. Thanks for watching!
dont get me wrong, i love reading physical books but I love my kindle because I don't have to keep buying books and storing them in my apartment. i live in a small-ish space with one bookshelf and i really don't have room for any more books- i like how with a kindle you can read a bunch of books and not worry about storing them all. i also like how for traveling, with a kindle you can basically bring/read a bunch of books and not have it take up too much room in your luggage.

this is the best kindle video i've watched!! thank u so much.
This is why I do what I do🥹 I’m so glad you found it helpful🫶🏻
This is the best review of kindle I’ve ever found. Thank you
This makes me so happy🥹 I’m so glad you found it valuable! Thanks for watching🥰
i’m studying literature and highlighting things on my kindle is a life-saver. i can write my essays and stuff so much quicker since i just need to scroll a little to find the quotes i need and then i can open the app on my computer and copy-paste them, saving a lot of time.
i also find myself saving so much money because i read all the time 😂 i still buy some physical books because i don’t think i can ever quit the feeling of actually holding them, but the kindle is so convenient that i buy less and less physical copies and i’m thriving!
I love this soooo much! 🙌🏻🎉 You have such a great system down!! I wish I would’ve know about all of this when I was in college! I have my sister buying all of her textbooks on Kindle now for this same reason🫶🏻
I love this girls energy, it's so infectious ❤️
Awe, thank you so much🥰
Best video on this topic! Thank you
I’m so glad you enjoyed it🥰 Thanks for watching and happy reading! 📚
I so appreciate all the work you have put into this video and later you will have to go and redo your changes you just made for us to show as examples.💜💜 Thank you!
Awe, that makes me so happy to hear🥰 It was all worth it if it helped you out! Thanks for watching and happy reading! 📚
I also love audiobooks! And thank you for the insight regarding why the Kindle screens are visible in all lighting😊✨
You did a good job on this video I actually have all three I have the Oasis as well and I love it but the basic I love the size and the paperwhite is just beautiful!😁❤
Awe, thank you🥰❤️ Yes!! They’re all great for different reasons. Thank you for watching and happy reading!! 📚
Love, Love your shirt! Where did you get it from? Thanks
Thanks so much🥰📚 It’s from Amazon! Here’s the link:

I did have a bit of a scary moment, when I first set it up, as I sent my entire Library to the 4th Gen and nothing happened, but I restarted it and all of the books appeared in my "Archived Folder."
I've organized all of my books into "Collections," on the 10th Gen, but sadly, that doesn't seem to transfer to the 4th Gen, so I'm leaving books in the Archived Folder and transferring them to the Home Page when I begin reading.
ok, i'm buying one. thanks 🤩
SO excited for you😍📚
Has to be one of the best reviews, so far.
This is the one I have but there’s a bunch on Amazon: www.amazon.com/Anti-Glare-Screen-Protector-All-New-Generation-2019/dp/B07MSYMNSW?crid=CIV6YN4VTZ0I&keywords=nupro+anti-glare+screen+protector&qid=1682914807&sprefix=nupro+anti,aps,103&sr=8-6&linkCode=sl1&tag=savanastump-20&linkId=9798eca526f48ad622ad1a953167ea90&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl
great review. may I ask: Do you use some protective shield on your kindles? I heard that getting scratches is more easily than with prior kindle generations
Hi! Yes, I do! The one I use is linked in the description but there are a ton of others on Amazon too. Thanks for watching and happy reading📚
I love my kindle paper white
They’re incredible!
Can you side load books you already have, like pdfs or epubs?
Yes! I’ve never done it but I know people who have. PDFs are fine but you have to convert the epubs first. I Googled it to make sure and there are instructions on how to do it😊 I hope this helps!
Your kindle has an email address you can send documents/books to, including epub. I email epub files to my kindle regularly.
I love your energy :)
Awe, thank you so much☺️🥰
oh my gosh! you have alice in wonderland sticker for your paperwhite! i love it!
Awe, thank you🥹 Mine too!! I saw it while I was studying abroad in Japan and had to get it! 💕
@@withlovesavana yea I actually did hear about that one. It’s just much bigger. The price doesn’t bother me as much as the size. Lol
I totally get that! That’s my thing with the Oasis because one of my favorite things about the Kindle is how tiny and light it is!!
For me there are 2 big reasons for getting an e-reader: 1- I dont get ansious seeing the pages left so I can enjoy every page. 2- its so light I can ready while cooking, playing with my dog, walking, using the toilet etc
Those are great reasons! They really are the best! Thanks for watching and happy reading😊📚
Do you use vocabulary builder in for example classic novels?
I love the word wise feauture, i am not native english and it's so amazing for me
Not typically but I’d like to someday! I think it’s a really awesome feature but I just never take the time to actually use it.
Word Wise would be great for second languages! I never really thought about that but I love it!
Savana, thank you for this video. I would like to ask What kind of clear case do you use for the kindle Paperwhite? 🌷
Hi Diane! I'm so glad you liked it🙂 Yes, it's this one from Amazon: amzn.to/41Y4JWY
@@withlovesavana Thank you Savana 💖
Anytime!!
Wonderfully explained
So glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching😊📚
@@withlovesavana , I recently received Kindle Paperwhite 16GB in India . Learning new new things
My tip is one word: PopSockets.
Yes!! I have one on my smaller Kindle and I love it.
@@withlovesavana I recently watched a video about the Kindle Scribe. The reviewer had *two* PopSockets on it due to its size and being used in portrait and landscape.
I’m getting a kindle but I don’t go on enough vacations this video mentions lol I hope I don’t regret
Awe yay, you’re going to love it!! You definitely don’t need to go on vacation for it to be beneficial haha. Most of the time I’m just reading in my house before bed🤪
I’ve found that a lot of videos about kindles mention going on vacation hahaha I haven’t been on a vacation in like 10 years 😅
🤣 Mainly just to illustrate that you have the world of books on one little device vs carrying around or storing a bunch of physical books but I see how this is probably true😂😅
Love you top where did you get it!
Thank you! It’s from Amazon😊 Here’s the link: It's a Good Day to Read a Book Sweatshirt Women Teacher Sweatshirts Crewneck Teacher Shirt Teach Pullover Funny Graphic Tops a.co/d/gtF7JyK
I’ve gotten more into audiobooks recently so I’m actually finding it more difficult to read with my eyes 😂
Thank you
You’re welcome😊
😂😂 thank you!
@@erikafrancis8231 You’re welcome! I hope this helps you to make a decision. Thanks for watching and happy reading🩷📚
What is the model of the white one?
It’s the 2019 basic Kindle! The newer model of this one is the 2022.
Where did you get your stickers?
I got my Alice in Wonderland one when I was studying abroad in Japan but the Hot Girls Read one is from here: www.hotgirlsbookclub.com/?fbclid=PAAaaNd7EimsZHr8qFBtMpcaq4ST8Vz1KXIdFwSsIbV7dEGYKlpnXNKEoY9_o
Can you read kids books on a kindle?
Yes! They make Kindles for kids where you can read picture books😊
Great video! Hit all the nails on the head x
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed🥰📚
selling a ds tomorrow so i can buy a used kindle paperwhite
Awe yay, you’re going to love it! I’m so excited for you😊📚
I have a recommendation that may not be obvious to eReader users: Try to buy one that has a white bezel. Black/dark bezels cause eye strain, even if only minimally. There's something just 'not right' about having paragraphs of text bounded by a black border.
Thanks for watching and sharing your recommendation! 😊
Omigosh you're talking soooo fast, I had to slow it down to 0.75x to sound normal. 😅
😅😅😅 I’ve been told I talk fast all my life, haha! I appreciate you slowing it down and watching anyways🥰
We get it, a kindle is “so…small” 😄
One of my fav features🤷🏼♀️
If you drop it on your face, you’re not gonna break your face off 😂😂😂. I have dropped phones, book’s, Ipad’s on my face and physical book’s definitely hurt the most.
Obviously that was an exaggeration😆But yes, agreed. That’s what I said. My first point is that Kindles are much lighter than physical books and I was referring to that large Atomic Habits book hurting if you dropped it. Thanks for watching!
The kindle has spoiled me
This comment is everything.
You might want to keep some books but after a while it makes sense from a practical and financial POV to buy hard/paperbacks and sell them on or donate to your favourite charity.
everything you named is possible with almost every ereader out there...
Maybe! But in this video I’m discussing the Kindle (the ereader I use) experience versus the physical book experience. I’m not comparing the Kindle to other ereaders because I haven’t tried them so it’s not the point of this video. Thanks for watching!
It’s not that small… that’s pretty average…
This was my first time seeing or holding an e-reader so for me it definitely felt (and still feels) that way! Thanks for watching😊
I only buy books that I've read from ku that are my absolute favorites and some I buy when they aren't available on ku
That’s a good way to do it!! The covers are sooo pretty to display.
Whoa!!!! I don’t have a purse, I’m a man, where do I put mine on the go?
😂
