The layer slider is cool. This makes it not so much of a pain to have many layers. My new request is making the gable siding more seamless with the wall siding when they are the same material. There is always a heavy line there to separate the two when in real life it would just be continuous. On the project information, it would be cool to have the ability to make a box with the info that can be placed on the cover sheet or site plan. Otherwise, how does the information get communicated on the drawings? Thanks for all the work you do on these!
For the site info, WUI (Wildland Urban Interface) information might be useful. Information might include whose laws control (State/County/City) - if you can find a data source to look up!

Yes, when you use a metric template in SketchUp it automatically switches to metric mode.
