I had used them in the past, but had forgotten completely how to use it. This was a very quick and detailed overview, getting me up to speed again. Thx.
Ha!! I love the idea of the ToDos... I always use a note pad... Not anymore!!! Nice one. 😎👍 You can use the colour tool to colour your markers to make them stand out. 😊
Another brilliant video! I never thought to use marker tracks in Cubase, but I will definitely be adding them to my workflow from now on. They definitely make life easier and make your projects more organised.
After all these years it's time to speed up the process, and use what Cubase has to offer...like using Marker tracks, multiple ones, not just one to jump around with the number key pad. Thanks for the video.
This video was amazing. I had never used Markers in Cubase...and I have been using Cubase a long time...2001. They really will be a help. We are starting a new recording project in Nashville next month and using Markers will really make it much easier for me to organize section of a song. Great video. Thanks.
Briljant explaining to pepp up my brain on things already use.. but the thing whith 2 marker tracks or more is helpfull,, thanks a lot and I can’t wait to see the next Warp video 👍🏼🎶🍀✌🏼
Exactly what I was looking for, many thanks for all the work! Small note: I’m using Cubase 13, didn’t see ‘show markers’ in my toolbar setup menu (3:57). Fijne feestdagen🥂!
Good video. I regularly use the marker track, just to mark out the main song parts, but nothing beyond that. One query I have, and I have looked for an answer to this everywhere - can the font for the markers be made larger? How about helping out us old fellas!
@@LanewoodStudios Thanks for the response. It's quite extraordinary how small those markers are. Often, when I'm videoing an actual recording session, I'm relying on seeing cubase up on my screen for cues as I go along, and it would be very nice indeed if the marker fonts were a tiny bit bigger!
awesome content! Just subscribed. Wondering if there's a way to add markers WHILE recording audio (a vocal session) making notes on the performance - and if it can be assigned to a key command. Similar to protools.
Thanks, ia have never done that but good idea though. If someone has any idea how this can be done in Cubase ... maybe by defining your own macro or something like that.
how do you move your midi and audio and KEEP the marker with it?? Is there a video explaining this. It seems you cant do this is the track list is split
Thank you for this, I think it will definitely help in the future. Is there any way to automate the markers (so that the playback will stop at a marker for example)?
Thanks for the video! I have one question: In my Nuendo 13, in the export naming settings, I don't have the cycle marker name in the drag and drop menu so I cannot use them in the file naming. Any idea why they disappear or how to get them there? Thank you!
Thanks again for this great video. I use markers a lot. I prefer jumping to the right marker with my numpad. Do you know if there is a way to jump to markers above 9, i.e. 11 or 12 with the numpad? Thanks again and greetings from Den Bosch!
You don't necessarily need multiple marker tracks. Cycle markers can overlap in one marker track. I usually setup one for the entire track and several others for different sections, no need for multiple marker tracks.
Bro, how do we lock individual markers on the same marker track...i know there is a lock for the entire trk.. but I need to keep some markers unlocked on the same trk...thankz in advance.

Are you using markers in Cubase? Any use for them that I missed in this video?
What about if you have more than 10 markers? Is there a shortcut to reach the 10th, 11th, etc, markers?
@@dravetch Maybe you can use the solution that is in the very last posts of this forum thread. forums.steinberg.net/t/shortcut-for-30-markers/115372/4
Learned something new within the first few seconds with the "divide track list" option.. Awesome vids as always. Thanks so much
Thanks, great that the videos are useful to you!

You’re welcome!
Another very valuable presentation. Clear and precise as always. Thank you and have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks you Peter and the same to you!

Yes use for todos is nice. And thanks again for the tip! 😉
Super helpful and in depth. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks. Also check out my video on the arranger track then because it can also used for the same purpose. Maybe you like it more ;).
@@LanewoodStudios Just watched it, I love it!
These are very useful for dialogue editing and for sorting chapters in audiobooks. Great video!
Great tips, thanks!

Thanks. Changing the font size would be nice indeed but I don't think you can. Let me know if you ever find a way :).

Another helpful video on how to use Cubase features, Maarten. Maybe a new video on the arranger track? ;-)
Thanks and yes that's on my list somewhere too ;).

If you select everything with CTRL-A does it not move all together?
@@LanewoodStudios it doesn't if the markers are above the separated dividing session line at the top

I don’t think there is a way to do that but you may be looking more for the arrangement track options. I do not have a video on that yet 😉.
@@LanewoodStudios thanks for pointing me into that direction, I'll look into that. Of course a video on it would be much appreciated :)
Quick question, is it possible to stop the playback automatically when the cycle marker is reach to its end?

Unsure whether Nuendo has the same features there as I don't run Nuendo. Did you check the manual?

Maybe by defining your own key commands? But I haven't tried it.
Hello, can you use markers for a seamless transition? When I go from marker to marker it doesn’t stay in the correct time
You should use the arranger track for that. See Demystifying the Cubase Chord Track: Essentials Made Easy
