- There are several routes to get to Fatima's village, which is located in the middle of a sugarcane field. The cheapest and most direct route is to take a motorbike to the end of a country road and then start trekking. We'll show you that route on today's show.

Only thing missing is the beer. How come Fatima didn't pack in a couple grandes for you? This trip will be a remembrance for all involved. Hoofing it through the remote farmland with 2 kiddos in tow. Incredible view, bet that grass is nice and itchy.

A lot of Vietnam war movies was shot here in the Philippines because of similar topography, Coppola's "Apocalypse Now", Oliver Stone's" Platoon"," Born on the 4rth of July ",starring Tom Cruise,"Hamburger Hill", "Firebase Gloria" and many more,i mentioned this because of your hat and your shorts reminds me of the era Mr. Marcus.

It seems like the grandparents could of shown more affection for your kids. This puzzles me alot. My (Abuela & mi Abuelo didnt care) grandma & Poppa didn't care if my Uncles had kids outside the marriage they were in...all kids were loved. We cousins loved ALL our cousins too. Maris felt alot at ease having you there. She stayed out of everyone's way. It's like she felt it. Shoot king, I grew up on the rez. Back in the day, we loaded up the horse in back of the truck and we hung onto or sat on the cattle rails going into town. With like 10 of us, all grand kids.🤣🤣🤣 my uncle used to cruise his 2daughters, son and wife on his motorcycle everywhere.

Is there a concern about snakes in P.I.? Or only certain islands? Stay safe.
There are several kind of poisonous snake here in our country, the philippine cobra, the samar cobra, the king cobra and more but what we dread the most are human snakes, because we have a saying here" mayroong ahas sa bawat gubat" there are snakes in every forest, by the way we have learned to live with them, in some places snakes are eaten as exotic delicacies, just stay away from their habitat a number of Filipinos die due to snake bite every year because they live in remote areas, there are also snake hunters here who gather venom and also animal poachers.

I lived in poorest part of mexico chiapas berriozabal for more than 2 years loved it similar culture not the same but similar lifestyle this is more healthy lyfestyle than people can imagine . I´m an old rocker and a country boy retired from iceland still living in iceland but bored to death here !
