I just got 2 Renogy 200 Watt 12 Volt Solar Panels, I read all in one kits are bad ideas as it's low quality gear. Two videos and I'm learning so keep teaching us dimwits please.
Yesterday there was absolutely no Chemtrails at all in my location which is 90 miles West of G-Bear where I live in the desert, today they were painting them across the sky and they dispersed into clouds just like in G- Bear's video, guess they are seeding the sky for the next weather disruptor.
Hello G Bear Question How is the charge controller connected to 2 or more strings of batteries? Does a single charge controller connect to the battery strings in parallel (Seems unlikely to me) or does each battery string need a separate charge controller? If more than one charge controller is needed can they share the same solar panels in parallel or does each charge controller need it's own solar panel string? I've haven't found a clear answer anywhere I've looked
Great questions. For right now I have 1 charge controller connected to the 4, 230ah battery bank, using the diagonal connection method opposite corners of the inverter connections, and a small Bateria charge controller connected to the single 100ah battery. Each controller has its own set of solar panels. 2400w solar to the Midnite Classic 150, in series parallel producing a 120v input at max. The small Bateria controller has 200w of Harbor Freight amorphous panels in parallel.
You can use multiple charge controllers on one battery bank and this is typically done when you have multiple strings of panels putting out different wattage. For example, I have a 4500w string that connects to one controller and a 750w string that connects to a different controller. Both connect to the same battery bank. You may or may not be able to do that with different brands of controllers (both of my controllers are identical and explicitly state that you can use multiple).
@@GBear I connect both to the bus bars. If necessary, I'm also able to connect a lithium 20a charger (not charge controller) to the bus bars. They all charge fairly evenly.
About your fire lesson. Why do they call it common sense. When it is so uncommon. In the 50s, a car owner manual told you how to adjust the valves. Now, it tells people not to drink the water in the battery
I don't know GBear, adding that fifth battery seems a little sketchy. You thew the rule of using "like" batteries out the window. Please show the dogs more on video. Thanks
Hey G-Bear. Your video are always interesting and thought provoking. Thanks! 🙂👍🏻👍🏻
You're welcome and thanks for watching.

@@doskraut Cheap all in ones are junk, but from a reputable company like Sungoldpower or EG4, you will love the convenience.
@@GBearso is that a cheap Renogy solar MPPT charger? How’s that doing?
@Silver-N-Black
Welcome aboard! That Renogy Rover works pretty good.
Appreciate you answering my question from a previous video

The most important thing before you fire up is put clean water in the bong
