About to hit these trails for the first time. I'm glad to finally see a video of some of the easier trails in the park. Most videos show all the more difficult rock climbing which a newbie like me will probably not do. Plus I'll be in my daily driving vehicle so I gotta play it safe.

You guys are funny! Glad you made it to the summit, and it sure is beautiful in the Texas Hill Country.

I summited Wildcat Mountain in an Outback on the park roads without issue. Those vehicles you have can do a lot more.

Two light bars = one locker.

Great vid! I am curious, does the Xterra in the video at least have a rear limited slip differential?

Thanks! Sadly ours does not. Open diffs front and rear.

glad you had fun, but on the front of transparency for the audience ; most of this footage is on park roads up to Wildcat, and not be any means even the moderate to hard trails to the top of wildcat.

By no means was this the meat of the park. Nor were our vehicles (or us) up for the harder trails that day. This was perhaps the smallest part of our trip. Thanks for watching.

@@TexasTruckChannel in the meantime... I’ve got my eye on one and I’m wondering if I should pull the trigger. It’s been meticulously taken care of, it’s a 2014 with 100k miles. They hold up? Do it?

I bought ours with 123K on it, it now has nearly 170k with no signs of trouble. In our experience they just run and run. The only draw backs are MPG and parking in urban areas.

@@nickhawes2523 You bet, we think of it as Fords version of the Toyota Land Cruiser.

You could have had that beast tow that toy up the "hard" course.

Bryan was never good at dodging mud, so it isn't a surprise the truck is covered

I have an '05 Xterra that could do that hard line without a locker.
