I wish I had trails like this near me. I've got a 2024 Frontier Pro-4X I'd love to take down trails like this. I'd have to run in 4x4lo to use the locker in it. What would help you out in that Z71 is disconnecting the sway bars....they really limit wheel travel
It’s definitely a fun challenging trail. I have the sway bars disconnected on my Subaru and it made a pretty good difference. If we were to hit trails like this more often we’d consider getting some quick disconnect for the Z71. The rear locker definitely makes up for the lack of travel though.
@northgeorgiamudslingers9921 I'm thinking about deleting the rear altogether and getting quick disconnects for the front... Then again I had deleted the sways from my 2003 S10Zr2 and my 2006 Canyon with no real issue. If I eventually titan swap it then for sure the front will be deleted too
The Subaru has had the front sway bar disconnected for over a year now and had no problems with body roll or loss of control. we’ll definitely have to look into some quick disconnects for the z71 though.
great video. haven't tried it going that direction though.
I’d recommend giving that direction a go. it’s slightly more challenging and fun.
I took my Crosstrek through there, albeit it was much drier. Those ruts take some serious tip-toeing. Pretty drive, too
Definitely my favorite trail so far, a great mix of challenge and scenery.
@ Friday is looking like some Subaru weather
@GregsTurtleHaven oh yeah, i’m gonna be the only person who can make it to work.😂

@@northgeorgiamudslingers9921 I may just do that with quick disconnects on the front and fully delete the rear
Torq locker will help on the forester
Definitely something i’ve been thinking about. I just don’t know if it’s worth it, considering I drive on road 95% of the time.
@@northgeorgiamudslingers9921 ive thought about it too but the noise bums me out.
And the cost 😂. i don’t go wheeling often enough to justify the price. still not completely out of the question.
They just click when turning .a limited slip diff is better than a open diff Also
I’ll definitely do some research
vdc is pretty good tbh.
