      Definitely worth every cent. I wish they made this years ago.

    Thanks for the review!
    I completely agree that this is a decent alternative to an original Japanese candy cab.
    I'm currently trying to advance from fightsticks to a cab and since I want something with a modern flat screen there aren't that many options. Taito Vewlix is definitely one of them but it's not cheap! If you don't happen to live in the same country and you don't manage to find group delivery then be ready to pay more for transport and customs than the actual cabinet. Then once you get it you probably won't be happy with the ancient monitor so it's even more expenses.
    Question. To what degree would you say does the PC shelf affect overall stability? I would rather get rid of it for more leg room.

      I'm glad you enjoyed it! The shelf relies more on the base than the other way around. It's pretty thin and doesn't really serve a purpose other than hold your game consoles. I switched the shelf over to the middle part of the base and didn't notice anything different. I would say that it's safe to not install the shelf. The weldments and the stick are enough for providing sturdiness.

    this would be perfect if they had the functionality to swap between a flat keyboard/mouse surface and the Arcade Stick Area being closer to user. ergonomic nightmare for reaching over the arcade controls to use keyboard and mouse.

      Not at all single player version is totally fine

      Switchable arcade and kbm sounds like either more of a ergonomic nightmare, or a worse idea than just a normal desk, kbm, and separate arcade stick.
      Constantly having to attach/detach a peripheral that's supposed to attach to the desk just for a few key presses sounds horrible to me, saying as a sim racer. Imagine constantly (dis)mounting the wheelbase when you can, you know pick up a wireless keyboard?

    Nice review! Got 2 questions if you don't mind.
    1. Is the distance between the joystick and buttons the same as an Obsidian or are they further apart? I prefer more distance so was wondering.
    2. What monitor are you using and stand are you using?

    • @POLICEMOE
      @POLICEMOE 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      1.The buttons will be further away from the joystick than the Obsidian (vewlix) layout.
      2.In addition, the monitor stand can be placed on the desktop with the original, and if you use a third-party stand, they have a desktop thickness that identifies the back clip stand support. At the moment I'm using an NB monitor stand

      Thanks so much! To answer your questions:
      1. The distance between the joystick and buttons is 3 inches. I don't own an Obsidian, but it looks like the space between the stick and buttons is further than that of the Obsidian.
      2. I'm using an Insignia 32-inch Class F20 Series Smart TV. The feet holding the TV up come with the package. You can find one here:

      Hope this helps!

    Is there a way to connect 2 back to back for head to head with 2 in sync monitors?

    • @dragonpunchtv
      @dragonpunchtv  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I haven't tried it myself, but you should be able to if you have the right equipment.

      I don't know how consoles work but a PC would be super easy.
      - Both audio setups go into a mixer and into a PC.
      - Monitors can be easily duplicated in Windows.
      - Controls are also very easy. Since it's 2 boards your PC and with it the game will see two input devices. You can then ingame determine who's P1 and who's P2.

    Does not work with the fusion brook board for the Xbox series or the ps5 with ps5 games . And if you want for ps4 disconnect the turbo connect .

    they should at least keep the shape.
    A table,2 arcade stick,a tv and ps3/4/pc..and you have it.
    I would prefer a new crt factory.
