The clash season 1 was hosted by Regine Velasquez and now there was season 2,3 and 4 that was hosted by Julie Anne San Jose. The clash is a reality singing contest and it has to be 1 vs all the contestant. 1 last standing man will win the show. It is an award winning singing competition. You might want to check the rest of the clash contestants performances. They are all worth it and all good singers.
This is my favorite contest. It’s an original concept made by GMA and premier May of 2018. It was hosted by Regine first before she transferred and replaced by Julie Anne San Jose the next year. These were the top 6 performance, and top 2 will be chosen for the final showdown. Jong was chosen first then Golden Cañedo. The final showdown begin after that and they chose the best performance. You should watch Golden also. She performed before Jong . Golden chose Jong to perform next to her and both of them made it to top 2. She’s also good and young back then. I think she started when she was 15/16 on that time. If Jong sang this in his final performance then he could have gotten the title. Thank you for appreciating our Filipino artists. GMA 7 channel is my favorite network before i discovered ABS CBN, that's when the tv remote never leave my hands while watching. Keep changing the channel between the two big tv network in the Philippines. 💗💗💗

The CLASH is like a battle of singers, tagline is "matira matibay, isa laban sa lahat" (strongest remains, one against all).
the show is a BATTLE consist of multiple rounds, performances could be solos, duets or groups having different twist. The selection process is so interesting:
in solo battles contestant and everyone including the judges and the host knew the matchups spot on, live in the show through a randomizer (a computerize choosing). Two contestant choosen to battle each other and only one will continue to the next round.
it's tricky_some rounds a contestant can choose another contestant having no idea if that person is gonna be a teammate or the one whom they battle with (strategy in advancing to the next round is difficult) the one you choose as an ally could be your hardest enemy in the contest... really after all the show is "one against all"
I love how Waleska and Efran give the musical terms and dissect how He sing it. Because here in the Philippines he is not that popular but I think he has that powerful voice. Goooo Mindanao
This is The Best Season of This Show During The season He got Sick But able to came back and Gets the Finalist spot but lost.his story is very inspiring❤️🇵🇭

Thanks for reating jong madaliday, unique voice and texture wow!. Its very hard to win in singing competition here in the philippines. Singing live and belting is normal. To make different to see your vocal power and skills.they xhanged the arrrangements of the song to make it more difficult.

the 2021 The Clash is also highly recommended! My personal favorites are Mariane Osabel's Don't you worry 'bout a thing & I am Changing, Julia Serad's House of the Rising Sun (GOD THIS WOMAN IS A BEAST), and Lovely Restituto's Dangerous Woman. I wouldn't want to be against them if I were one of the contestants lol imagine being the judge and having them in one season

Jong was a regular in a variety show in the Phils but the pandemic hit, shows needed minimal people and he wasn't able to get back. He chose TH-cam and he's one of the biggest singing TH-camrs in the Philippines.

Sad to say but GMA doesn't know how to market their artists..unlike abs cbn most of their artist are famous and well known not only in the philippines but also in the other countries.... No wonder why jaya, kyla, jay r, regine and ogie transfered to abs cbn because abs cbn is huge network and very well known....most winners of the clash is gone after they won the compitation...they have an album but their songs is not famous and not played on air....
