Digging the teal accents. I've thought about putting underglow on either my 6 or my 240, glad to know the kits have gotten better. I remember when my buddy had actual neon tubes under his car in the '90s lol. Keep up the great 6 content!
I remember looking on eBay after FF1. I was about 14 and building all my cars on paper. Neon tube underglow was about $300 then. It’s amazing how now even cheaper $50 Govee kits are pretty decent kits. But underglow and 240’s and a classic NFS underground look in my opinion 👌🏽

I was thinking about getting this kit, and I see this video is a year or so old, so how are they holding up? Thank you for the video btw, I've seen people with underglow just never asked how they installed it.
It’s holding up perfectly! Works flawlessly. I did rip off the side strip and I simply went on their website and ordered the individual and replaced it. The app if a little eh and doesn’t hold the presets but it works.
@@DariusBuildz they only have the 40/60 length strips. I asked about that and they said that was the only configuration they had. Xkglow has a new color chasing kit coming out I may upgrade to. The lengths are going to be 74 instead of 60 on the sides.
I sometimes have a problem with mine where 1 side of the car will work and the other half will turn on but not work with the app? Have you experienced that??
I have not had that issue. Make sure the connections are good and that they are screwed together. Sounds like a loose connection or maybe a frayed wire.
You would have to have multiple inputs to turn it one. So one would have to be from a unlock trigger and one from a 12v source that’s only triggers while the car is running on autostart then once secure takeover is done, that source would have to turn off. So that would depend on your particular car and finding the proper 12v triggers for that to be accomplished
Hi Darius, great vid. What specific fuse did you tap into? I'm trying to determine which fuse to tap for my 2016 Challenger. Ideally want the underglow to come on when I tap my key fob, not sure if yours did that too. Thanks!
When you power it on, can you set the default color? or does it always default to rainbow road when you turn it on? I want to preset a color so that when I turn it on it always defaults to all-white.
My app sometimes will reset and erase all my presets. But if it doesn’t, my last selected preset is what stays on. Mind you, mine is hardwired and not on a 12v switched fuse so your milage may vary.
@DariusBuildz and I have the ones for inside the car and they won't stick at all... I also bought the demon eyes and they didn't tell me I need to get the projector lens
make sure you wipe the surfaces down with 70% IPA to remove any grease or dirt. And most Demon eyes sit on the projector or around the projector shroud. Depending on how your headlight housing is made, you can probably glue the demon eye to the reflector itself, since you have to take the headlight apart to install. It just ay not look as " clean"
Mine takes a few seconds once I get close to the module and a little “1” will pop up on the left side once it’s connected. Touching the 3 horizontal lines and seeing where it says ALL Devices will confirm that it’s connected. From there, you should be good to go!

My only complaint is the side strips aren’t very sedan friendly. You don’t get a full glow from wheel to wheel
They have different side lengths you can order.

I was wrong. For my civic it was perfect. The front to rear tire length wasn’t as long as I thought.

I taped into my radio fuse since it’s a 12v constant and I want to be able to control it even when the car is off.
