      Has anyone figured out how to make hdr work without top shot. I love top shot but it decides best photo hdr but then you’ve got no option to make another photo an hdr export. I’ve learned that topshot usually always makes one photo have amazing quality hdr export and another photo with poor hdr export and then every other photo that’s not selected as best even if you love it will not have hdr export and will look significantly less quality.

      @nickmotsarsky4382 If you would have press on the screen at a more dark point it would change and go for a longer exposure. It can be extreamly big difference depending how you point the camera also, just a cm and it would be completely different for example. For both.

    It is a difficult decision, in my opinion the Pixel is still the undisputed king of HDR... it exposes the shadows very well and the photographs are more visually pleasing... in night mode they are a little more balanced. in spite of everything I would buy the Samsung the zoom is incredible ...CONGRATULATIONS FOR YOUR VIDEOS, YOU DO AN EXCELLENT JOB👌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

      But is that very strong HDR actually that necessery? I mean, the pictures look too artificial in my opinion, some highlight clipping is just more natural and gives it more of a real camera feeling.

      @@TheRMSAndre1 you're right e. in some specific cases it is too much hdr... it would be ideal to have that option and a more natural one .. Maybe it's just me, but in the lens flare comparison I much prefer the pixel's handling of the point light source over the s22's. Hey Danny, I'd love to know how has the oversharpening been controlled this time with the S22U? Samsung photos look nice as long as we don't zoom too much into them. Most camera comparison reviews show us zoom out images but fine detail and how much natural resolved detail and textures have been preserved can only be noticed upon zooming in for close inspection. I have been buying flagship Samsung phones every year but I don't like how their images are processed. Too oversharpened for my taste. I'd love to hear from you before I jump in to get it this year. at this point Samsung and Google should make phones together and use software (Android or smth else) as proprietary and not as open source. THis way they can eliminate competition vs chinese brands and be a seriously competitor to apple ecosystem.

    I've really been loving the cameras, I think it's never been easier to take great shots and not be ashamed of them lol. I'm having trouble because for most non-action shooting the 108MP camera has such a beautiful depth of field that it almost doesn't need the optimizations of the regular shooter. Maybe they can combine them both because it really is a great lense.

      High megapixels on a small sensor isn't a good thing, especially in low light. Pixel pitch is very important.

  • @abdullaaryan
    @abdullaaryan 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    FYI ... in dark environment pixel uses digital zoom not 4x optical lens that's why it lacks detail

    • @derekisthematrix
      @derekisthematrix 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly right. You can usually tell when it switches to the telephoto lens because it 'blips' the image for a second. This didn't happen here. I do hate how I can't force the phone to use the telephoto lens though vs. the phone deciding to 'let' me use it based on lighting conditions and subject distance.

    I almost waited for the S22 Ultra knowing it would be the new Note, but so happy I went with the 6 Pro. Pixel hands down best all around Android camera. I'm surprised Apple is doing so good with the iPhone. They use to have HORRIBLE camera and for the last 2 years they been killing it

    • @nickmotsarsky4382
      @nickmotsarsky4382 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends. If you want to shoot Portraits, Pixel is still awful with the 2x digital crop, bad edges and oversharpening. Otherwise it's pretty damn good.

    HDR better on the Pixel. Colour better on the Pixel, just look at the red the Samsung produces at 1:44, god tier awfulness. Video better on the Pixel as well.
    So I guess I should say good job Samsung. Lmao.

    • @nickmotsarsky4382
      @nickmotsarsky4382 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Okay, but look at 7:45. The Pixel photo looks awful with all that blue and the Galaxy nails it. And that's without even night mode. If you want to pick and choose random shots to make your point, I can do that too..

    I think everyone shouting Samsung for just 100x zoom.. should also look for the price tagg gap between this two phones.... I personally felt that the pixels is way ahead in camers processing even with the old models with 12.2 mp still took stunning photos comapre to what we have got in iphones and samsung way back then...
    In conclusion pixel is way ahead in processing.. i can assure you that it's 12.2 mp can also keep up with so called 100 mp..
