I like the climb up. But either way, coming down is super fun. You can just rip down this trail! Favorite trail in the southbay, hands down.

Very easy climb compared to Tahoe standards. Also, a very easy decent, jam packed with hikers (unless you go at sunrise).

Cool vid. I rode JNT for the 1st time yesterday and had a blast. I was also surprised how friendly people were compared to the ones on trails I usually ride lol. Definitely my fav trail in the Bay Area.

You said the climb is horrific but is it long and boring like climbing a fire road or is it techy and steep?

The climb isn’t bad. You climb up the same trail you go down.

@@barathmuthusamy If you want an easier climb, so you can do multiple laps, you can park at the bottom entrance on Black Rd. Continue to climb black road until you reach HWY 35 Skyline BLVD. Take Skyline BLVD for about 2 miles and the north entrance will be on your left.
