Can you talk about Egbe and if you have Orun and the Afrocuban tradition which should one get first or should Egbe be received?

So basically having oro, osain and odadowuh and olokun 1 would become a very balance practitioner

Depends on your odu of Ifa and initiatory status. Even if a person has all of these powerhouses but still hasn’t consecrated something as preliminary as Isan Egungun, they may still experience spiritual disequilibrium.

Iboru, pleasure to meet you! Congratulations on receiving this deity! Ideally these answers would be coming from the person who gave this to you. If you have any further questions feel free to text me at (407)535-9390.

Great video, thank you... i look forward to the upcoming video about the Ogboni society. One question tho, I am directly linked to the Efik tradition where we have Egbe, i believe the Afro Cuba call it Abakuá. Are there any similarities with Ogboni and Abakuá?

First and foremost my brother thank you for watching the channel! It’s always a pleasure to interact with someone from your clan, which is one that I hold dear. There are definitely similarities between the Ogboni and Ekpe/Abakpa societies. The main difference is that the Leopard society is more usually more associated as fraternal, whereas there are female Ogboni. May Abasi and Muna bless us all!

The names are similar. It may have been Senegal's previous name. Thank you for the idea, I will delve more into this and see if there is any correlation.

Ok so here my issue with cuban dominant religions/spiritual practices. If the orishas and ifa came from yoruba land.... Where did all these elaborate rules and restrictions come from. Isese there are no restrictions to work with orishas, as long as ifa permits it. Its very disheartening and sad that practitioners pass their personal views off as law. Isese does not discrimination and neither does olodumare. Me personally I actively avoid cubans spiritually because they act like new age colonizers in my opinion.

The clans that formulated the Lukumi faction had different customs than some of those in present day Isese. Cuba preserved Ifa in the West for 500 years before Isese arrived on the scene, to each his own.

@@JosephBabaIfa So thank you for validating my point. Cubans want to take their personal views and pass them off as spiritual law. The only reason Lucumi was able to “hold it down” for 500 years because it had a FOUNDATION from isese. I really hope you don’t have any black/ Kongo decent god children 🤣
