Apologies for lack of subtitles on this one, it's just closed captions which are often wrong but this week I really didn't have the time to manage. If anything I answer piques your interest leave me a comment and let me know if you'd like me to do a full video on it!
Thank you for this video Ysha! You so perfectly described a lot of my feelings about being a disabled witch, the tensions in being grateful for our position outside ableist/capitalist norms. I also agree with you on the rule about not showing your altar or working space/tools. I have extra protections in place for anything publicly visible, but it's always been my feeling that people with ill-intent will have that ill-intent regardless. They might use the image of my altar in a negative manner; but so might they use the image of my face, or my name, or words I've said... if you go down that rabbit-hole, you basically have to be entirely hidden, silent, withdrawn from anyone's view in any way. Which might work for some people, but not those of us seeking connections. All of which is to say, I agree, show your working spaces freely. It's another way that you're helping people learn and be exposed to different practices.
I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one! I know I might be seen as naive in how I approach most things but to be honest the preemptive anxiety reminds me too much of the feeling I saw people have in my village, always worrying that someone was after them. It's unsurprising no one managed to have real connections and just felt like they always had to watch their backs and in hindsight I realise why they must have felt like everyone was jealous and envious of them 😞
Very interesting. I am just watching the segment where you are speaking on keeping your loved ones safe. Just prior to this explanation, I was thinking, "What is it about you that is so inviting?" And immediately answered myself with "You are a safe space." Ysha, you radiate safe energy. How fucking cool. ❤
Awww I'm glad to hear, at the end of the day as I said here, to me the meaning of life is connection with kindred spirits. I am very glad TH-cam can work like a window in that that lets me broadcast "hey I'm here!" Like this 😅
Wonderful video Ysha ❣️ I love your authenticity & agree with many of your points of view about magick, deity work, connection, queerness, Love, disability (visible/invisible) and activism ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💜 I'd like to participate in a LIVE 😃 Hugs from France ! 🥰🕊️🌹
Thank you for letting me know Muriel! It's good to see others would find some good in sharing movement or events in synchronicity through livestreams, I'll definitely start thinking about how to make it happen!
So cool to hear about your favourite bands! I was suspecting that was a Smashing Pumpkins T-shirt. 🙂 Love the name "the South Wales anarchist coven"!! ❤🖤💜 Interesting to hear your views about privilege. Totally agree about using it for good and for elevating less-privileged voices. Also interesting that you mentioned animism. And your fashion style is the best! I'm very much a hoodie + leggings/joggings person but I'm trying to experiment a bit more with outfits to wear during concerts with my band (just made a tutu!).
So glad this was interesting at all! Thank you for the music question cause I have wanted to talk more about it for a while but I never have the excuse here!
@@EmilysTarotandMagick awww you're too kind. I dragged myself to film miraculously yesterday and literally mentioned how amongst others I always have you on the TV keeping me company even when I'm zero energy so it's an incredible compliment to know you watch and appreciate my content too 🥰
Thanks for sharing! I wonder how common anthropomorphizing things is among neurodivergent folks... I have always tended to do that, and I think it's a driving factor in why I came back out of atheistic belief as a youth toward an animistic/pagan worldview as I got older 😹
It reminds me of this academic paper discussing this topic exactly (how austic people antropomorphise everything) and the subtitle it: this paper will be sad if you don't read it 😢

Also you have amazing taste in music! I did an Against Me! tattoo on my arm, stick and poke.
an online workshop would be amazing! :)
I am really trying to think how to make that happen, especially for doing the exercises where people practice reading for each other
I am reading Mahra Starling’s book about Welsh Witchcraft right now! I can hear every word in her sweet voice! 😊

Great! Q&A. I found it very inspiring to do my own
Glad to hear! I do recommend to split at around 15 questions though, this is a humongous video that could have been half 😅
It was so nice to learn more about you and your practice Ysha. Thank you for sharing ✨ 🙏 Xx
Thank you so much for watching Emily, I know this was my longest video and that's dedication 😅
