      @@whitefink7090 True I realised this as I was typing out my original comment, but maybe Louis might have some form of love for Apple because he makes a profit from there mistakes and that profit goes to burritos and burritos are the purest form of love.
      And from someone with a creative background, what apple did for design & marketing was a huge game-changer (back then) and funnily was probably a huge influence to Tesla on how to make electric cars cool and "S3XY" to the general public, because mass-produced electric cars have always existed but they were ugly. What I'm trying to say is Apple made computers and phones cool and S3XY to a non-tech audience and tesla is doing the same.
      It makes me think I wonder if in 10 years time once all the competition has caught up to Tesla, will everyone look past at all the good what Tesla has done and begin to see them as overpriced poorly built crap
      Sorry about my mindless rambling

    Carl is a good dude. I wish corporations and the egotists who run them would get their heads out of their backsides and encourage and build cooperative ecosystems that would allow new, needed technologies like this to flourish, because EVs like Tesla aren't going to take over the world until they do. It's always about the money. Tesla service would be completely different if I were there. The shenanigans they try to save money cost them long term. I mean for gawd sakes some dimwit at the top of service commanded the remove most of the hoists from each service center and do a pit crew style service with 4-6 techs on one car. Idiotic choice at best. it might look good on paper but what if they have a car with a wiring problem, the other 5 stand there with their thumbs up their butts? there are a dozen more examples I hear about. I was a flat rate technician for 16 years. I know how to streamline processes and get the cars out the door. They say my way makes no sense. I say they have too much money burning and very little common sense

    Actually this whole service situation is the main reason why I still didn't buy a Model 3 - I am from Germany and there are many people who are convinced of the technology, but are disappointed about the Tesla service. Just be smart and take the help of third party shops!

    • @isthatatesla
      @isthatatesla 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What you're describing is fear-based and very few Tesla owners would get rid of their car(s). If you want to support the lies of "clean diesel" or whatever, that's your call.

    • @alsterwasser08
      @alsterwasser08 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@isthatatesla It's not fear-based - even local service staff is disappointed about the whole situation (in this case Hamburg, northern Germany). I will buy a Model 3 as soon as this problem is solved. I never said a thing about Diesel - but to be clear: BEV are the future, ICE are the past.
      The tech of Tesla is the best, but the service and delivery processes in Germany are such a shame.

    This guy deserves respect. As for the cars...now that I have heard them, the irritating scratchy whining noise, I will never give up the sweet symphony of properly tuned (no turbos or superchargers) IC motor. If I was to live twice my second choice would be a Tesla.Stay tuned. But don't be fooled, the net imoact on the enviroment is the same. The energy comes from somewhere and typically the same as for all electricity... coal or naturaal gas. Unless you charge with solar, wind or best of all nuclear. Nuclear rules. New gen nuclear not the old stuff.
