At this channel we look to have fun in the virtual skies whether that be in DCS World (Digital Combat Simulator), MSFS 2020 (Microsoft Flight Simulator), Thunder, Aerofly FS, FlyInside, X-Plane, Flight Simulator X, Prepar3D (P3D) or Ace Combat. We like to look at different aspects of the sim from military fast jet flying, Helicopter flying, Mission Editing and much more. All this is done using Track IR and Virtual Reality.

The possibilities for aircraft to fly are endless. The aircraft available at our fingertips are: F-14 Tomcat, F-15 Eagle, F-15 Strike Eagle, F-16 Viper, F/A-18 Hornet, Eurofighter Typhoon, F-35 Lightning II, Hawk T1 (used by the famous Red Arrows), Lancaster, Spitfire, Hurricane, P-51 Mustang, Boeing 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, 787, Airbus A310, A320, A330, A340, A350, A380, Blackhawk Helicopter, Apache Helicopter and much more. All these aircraft are developed by world class developers such as Eagle Dynamics, Heatblur, Razbam, Arges, Urga Media, Just Flight, India Foxt Echo, Dino Cattaneo, Aeroplane Heaven, Aerosoft, Iris Simulations
I wish DCS modernized their ground forces to give us more variety and customization. It would be awesome to be able to do Arma style battles in DCS while being supported by realistic aircraft.
What version of DCS are you n because on latest beta the only USA infantry options I have are M249 and M4 but you had way more than that. I definitely don't have Infantry Soldier JTAC
I have the same issue, were you able to figure this out?
Current hill has about a dozen new Swedish and u.s infantry units each.

Why jtac doesn't work with FC3 planes?
Lately when using the built in JTAC, when I commence my run-in, I get an ABORT! ABORT! ABORT! for no apparent reason. Often by checking out and checking back in and re-doing the sequence I can finally get a CLEARED HOT! Any idea why this happens? I've gone to using CTLD instead because this has gotten so annoying.
Hmm I've not had that myself so unfortunately I can't help you with that. I'll have a few goes and see. Does it happen in any loadout or only in a certain configuration?
@@InFlightsim22 No real configuration that I can see. Happened most recently in the AH-64 but also happened in the F/A-18. One thing I note is that I used the TASK FAC-GROUP and selected a group vs. Enroute Task FAC. Maybe the targeted vehicle went out of LOS for some reason, but the targets were stationary and it happened with both Ground FAC and AFAC. No big deal, just wondered if you might have encountered it.
@@bobt223 I'll certainly keep an eye out for it.
@Bob T - I don't remember the exact order but you need to interact by calling JTAC with IP Inbound, Laser On, and Laser Spot. If you miss these radio calls it will tell you to abort. Check out Matt's video on JTAC or I think Red Kite has one too.
@@shawnbowers5509 Yep, thanks. I did go through all those steps, including SPOT. Oddly enough, last night I flew the mission giving me trouble in both the F/A-18 and the AH-64 and it worked perfectly. I DID get ONE "Abort Abort Abort" call after successfully prosecuting 3 targets, but was able to start the process over and complete the target set. I will watch the videos again just in case I am missing something. When the JTAC calls "SHIFT" I have been able to just engage immediately without repeating the calls, but when "UNIT DESTROYED, RE-ATTACK AUTHORIZED" I go through the whole IP INBOUND, LASER ON, SPOT, IN process. CTLD works better but (without SRS) you don't get the sense of interacting with the JTAC. At one point, I thought the ABORT was due to the direction of Attack, but in the AH-64 I just hovered at the same spot, so there went that theory!
Useful. Lot of gasping and clicking. Maybe some kind of mic cover would help attenuate the background noises. Thanks.
I'm looking at investing in a better microphone rather than just using my current headset.

When you call JTAC and request a target it reads back the NINE LINE but it also displays the read back content in the top right corner line by line. Was this a new bug, or did it have something to do with the JTAC mod you used? Once again thanks for the video.
It used to do that for me but doesn't anymore. I'm not sure if it's down to my settings maybe or if it's a bug...it was handy though.
