While that's the most told story about why The Noid was discontinued, it also had a lot to do with the promotion they had at the time about the 30 minutes or less delivery time. Caused a LOT of delivery drivers to get into traffic accidents. The whole company did a rebrand after that, and The Noid just happened to be a casualty.
While the guy with bad mental health story appeals to the dark humor need the internet has, the focus really should be how bad a fixed time is for the delivery drivers at the time. I don't think getting rid of the Noid really helped either way, but refreshing the brand to combat bad press they probably faced about the drivers. Plus, the Noid was just so much a relic of the 80's, and I suppose there were issues with Vil Vinton Studios that I can't quite remember the details of. Best to have left that behind other than the nostalgia they can cash in off of.
@@polocatfan One crazy guy threatening employees in one location vs who knows how many crazy ass drivers out there. And drivers can cause as many accidents as they get into, so any number of innocent safe drivers and pedestrians that can get mowed down... not a good look for the company.
i had a nightmare about the noid when i was about 4-6 years old. that dream probably traumatised me and i still remember it clearly to this day. it was definitely the noid standing on the top of my stairs. but whats strange is that i had never seen the noid. it was only until watching an episode of The Goldbergs that i recognised him, and found out hes apparently the dominos mascot. as a kid, since i live in britain, i had never seen any adverts for dominos and ive never lived near one or anything. i dont know how the noid got into my nightmares but he did.
Fun Fact: The Lost Character “Morse the Mole” from the FNAF fangame “Popgoes” was recently got the Polygon Man treatment, turning into the final boss of a spin-off.
I think there's that one "lost character" that should be mentioned and his name is "Jimmy Negatron" . He is the main antagonist who only appeared in the Jimmy Neutron video game, but he never appeared in the show (the closest to Jimmy's evil counterpart is Evil Jimmy). He's basically just Jimmy Neutron but with a beard. (He should be called Jimmy Electron since electrons are negative, which it's fitting)
@@frozenfiredarknight3764 I agree. While I did hear Judy would have returned had Family Matters got what was supposed to be its final season (where Urkel and Laura would get married), it is sad about what happened to her after she was removed. Heck, even some of the cast members were not happy about her removal, with Jo Marie Payton, the actress who played Harriet, the wife and mother of the Winslow family, going as far as to say she refuses to be part of a reboot if Judy Winslow does not return in it during a panel at 90's Con.
Same, she actually has her own channel here on TH-cam and she even made a few video about thev rough time she went through after being fired from the show as well. Id give it a recommendation if your curious to hear her side if the story in more depth.
There's a decent amount of lost characters in wrestling. Most have clear reasons for WWE not using them like Muhammad Hassan, but others like Kizarny just disappeared out of nowhere.
Damn that last one is so depressing, to think that people can just remove characters at the drop of a hat. Not lost characters per say, but PHIL FACE (or just Phil) is probably my favorite example of a lost character. His appearances were super brief as like either wall art or as characters with vaguely the same face. He was one of the staff members who left Adventure Time around 2011. It's also weird and potentially lore breaking if you think about it for a moment. I haven't watched too much Adventure Time recently and I stopped watching around say 2014 or 2015. However, the fact that there's other humans besides Finn The Human kind of breaks the idea that Finn is just 'The Last Human'. Somehow he's just always been there and no one has acknowledged that he is one of the few humans that remain. He reminds me a lot of the businessmen that were trapped within the ice cube. There isn't a lot of lore surrounding him, and it's funny how this one cameo gets my noggin jogging. I was a big fan of the Adventure Time comics around the time the show was first airing. So there was this one character called Randall who is basically a PHIL FACE. I didn't get the joke at first, and I thought it was an in universe explanation for why PHIL FACE was prominent as a portal to hell. Also now that I'm thinking about it, I find it funny how Graggle Simpson is similar to the PHIL FACE. Where it's a reflection of how the creator sees themselves through their own art (is it a coincidence that both are naked? I think not.).
I don't know if you've looked up the show in the 6 months since your comment too see about all the human stuff, but the show explores Finn's and general human lore a lot more in the last few seasons. And yeah, the PHIL FACE is one of the weirdest and most notable cameos in the show, one of those things that would stick in someone's mind regardless of whether they're a big fan of the show or just happened to see an episode that used it.
For Flintstone Jr, i have developed my own theory. So, we see that he gets a dinosaur pet in the book, and in the TV show, the dinosaur is a lot bigger. So what if a lot of time had passed since the book and the show. My theory is that there is a decade or so time gap i between the book and show and that Jr (who looks to be around 7 or 8) went away to college. A few years before that however, we see that the flintstones had a second baby, a daughter, in the process.
Rob from the amazing world of gumball is an interesting case: he appears in early episodes but then disappears, then they show that he was sent to "the void" and returns as a villain
And the void is pretty much what happens to any "lost content", no longer relevant to the world as it's known to the viewers, they're left forgotten and are just, basically kicked out of the show, the void is pretty much an analogy to how certain things on a show considered unimportant are cut out by the producers and left forgotten, just like any lost character in this list, and even a whole show itself, when it's cancelled
The hamster butlers from Flushed Away. I remember watching the original trailer as a kid and wondering why those guys weren’t in the movie. Later when I heard of the Aardman studio fire in 2005, I figured the movie was originally claymation and had to be remade in cgi, but it turns out it was always computer animated (because they knew animating water+clay would be a nightmare). As for the butlers, apparently having two characters pamper the lead was undermining the theme of loneliness. It’s wild to think how late into production some characters can be cut.
There was a similar example in Ice Age with Sid having a girlfriend that was cut late in development (she can even be seen in early trailers I believe), I think this was for the best as these alt versions of the scenes make Sid come off as an asshole (like Black Friday Woody).
Lost sitcom characters are funny to me cause they never expected anyone to remember or care like the original aunt Vivian or that one cousin from family matters that disappeared with no explanation
They made fun of the aunt Vivian change the same episode it happened. Will says something along the lines of her looking/sounding different and then staring at the audience
As a 2000 and 2010’s kid, I am shocked by the background of Lazy Town! I never knew any of this! Also, it’s so funny that Sportacus used to be a jock with bad health advice only to then turn into the health nut I only ever knew him to be! Awesome vid!
Completely irrelevant, but the plush you used for your pfp became an inside joke between some friends a few months ago. Basically, I found that cat plushy on amazon and sent a picture of it to my friends. I thought it would be funny if I portrayed the Garfield look-alike as Garfield's drunk uncle and ended up wasting 20 or so minutes writing an essay about this random cat plushy, whom I dubbed "Gramfeld". I ended up buying said plush a week or two later. Again, I know it's completely irrelevant, but I thought it would be funny to mention.
I remember seeing Polygon Man on an episode of One Minute Melee where he faced off against Master Hand… who killed him. Learning about how Fred originally had a son, I could see Fred Jr. working as an older brother to Pebbles. 13:07 If I ever met the Noid, like the dimensional merge happened on a lesser scale and I was unlucky enough to encounter the freak, I would just try sit him down to tell him the tale of Kenneth Lamar Noid. Also if the Dimensional Merge happened on a lesser scale, I’d try track down Wooldor Sockbat so I could get him to use his Clum Babies to resurrect some fellas.
I honestly see why Fred Jr. never materialized on the show. Sure, it would have differentiated the show from The Honeymooners, which it was heavily based on, but it seems pretty likely that he would have been a third wheel for the early "Fred and Barney in a get rich quick scheme" episodes. You know, back when the show was meant for adults. And I think that was the right call. Pebbles brought a lot of life and renewed interest into the show, it brought out a softer side of Fred becoming a father half way through the series. I don't think having a child early in the series would have worked nearly as well.
In the case of Judy. This is definitely what happens when a one-off character becomes way to popular. Urkel became such an icon, it ended up causing Judy to be completely Thanos snapped from the series and for her to be completely forgotten entirely. Whilst Urkel ended up becoming the main focus of the series, and Judy’s life ended up becoming a downward spiral, until she could fix it. While Urkel soaked up all the fame he could in his moment of glory This kinda reminds me of what happened with Jeffy from SML. Jeffy became such a popular character with Logan’s younger audience, fan favourites like Black Yoshi or Woody have rarely or almost NEVER appeared in the series again, whilst Jeffy became the main focus and mascot of SML Unlike Urkel, however, who despite what his popularity ended up doing, remains a loved character, Jeffy has grown to become one of the most, if not, THE most hated TH-cam character, of all time
I asked this before but for some reason it got no attention so I'm retelling the story for all the eddheads out there: So after tord left the show shortly after there was a two-part special named "hammer and fail" this is one of the last "eddisodes" before edd gould sadly passed away but this story is not about him there was three characters introduced they were the neighbors fast forward in time there was another two parts special (you see where im going?) Where tord returns now we get to the part I made you read this comment in the first place. There was a scene where all the neighbors we're sitting on the couch they were talking about something but I don't really remember there was a shot which showed a fourth neighbor we dont ever get the fourth neighbor's name feeling shot of him we got was his red t-shirt fans decided to name this character "todd" the end (p.s I probably know why this thing didn't get intention because its kinda boring or I posted it too late if the creator of this video ever sees this please I put this into an honorable mention of some sort it's basically this is my second time telling this story so it would be at least kind of you to heart this comment)
a character that comes to mind for me is Tarclops from Skylanders. They were originally set to appear in Spyro's Adventure, but was cut and later became the character "Zap". There's been little nods and references to him since, and a rumour that some Toys For Bob employees actually have working Tarclops figures that can summon the character in-game, but that's most likely false. One that is true however is "VVind Up", a Vicarious Visions inspired variant for the Skylander "Wind Up" that never released, but can be modded into the game
The Family matters thing really irritated me when I found out about it…like that poor girl got shafted just because she wasn’t as iconic as Jaleel…and they just wanted everyone just to completely forget she even existed…at least the aunt was mentioned and the grandma made a few cameos…they could’ve come up with something~ to explain why she was gone even without having to say she died or something. It’s dumb and I felt so bad for her. It’s nice to know they tried to fight for her…hell Jaleel even said he hated how much the character became so over done
If u ever make another one: a random one-off character I think about a lot is Donna’s sister Tina in That 70’s Show. She legit appears in one episode in season 1 (I think) where Donna is babysitting her and they have a party at their house. She’s then mentioned once in a later episode where they bring up “whatever happened to Donna’s sister Tina?”
You could honestly make an entire video of lost mascots and campaigns. Ones like The California Raisins (created by Will Vinton who also created The Noid) and McDonalds characters are the first which come to mind when I think of truly lost characters.
Yo-Noid: I remember seeing some PS1 sprites of the Noid a few years back and they are very anime. I think it was from Tumblr but they honestly look amazing! Family Matters: I watched a lot of Family Matters reruns around middle school, and I never once saw an episode with Judy Winslow sadly. It’s honestly quite sad how she was treated, but it’s nice to see she’s doing better now.
I was kinda excited when they made a new Noid commercial last year and added him into Crash On The Run, hoping that this meant a permanent return for the character (and maybe even a new Yo Noid! game). But Domino’s hasn’t made another Noid ad since and has seemingly gone back to business as usual.
Same here. Dominos seemingly bought The Noid back as a one off appearance in what seemed to be a failed social media campaign, as they used the character to try and sell NFTs and then scrapped him shortly afterwards.
I said it in the last video but I’ll just mention one character here. BoCo from Thomas and Friends was a prominate side character and fan favourite who appeared in multiple episodes every season from seasons 2-5 and had multiple appearances in the original railway series books, however after season 5 he disappeared without explanation and hasn’t been seen in the tv series since, despite fan outcry as well as his planned appearances being cancelled in favour for another character Daisy
I'd love to see Kopa, Simba's son from the Lion King children's books, get talked about if he hasn't been already. He showed up in the books but never in the movies or the Disney Junior show, and so the fandom has theorized of what could have happened to him, including him possibly having ran away or simply died.

Hey I’ve got a lost character for you from Chuck E. Cheese Crusty the cat was a cat animatronic who only appeared in the first location. He was sorta their to be an opposite to Chuck E who at the time, was a cigar chomping wise cracking rat. He would be scrapped mysteriously at the second location and instead be replaced with mr. Munch. Only two show tapes with him have ever resurfaced. His animatronic is actually owned by a collector. He would be scrapped because he apparently just didn’t click with the higher ups. Chuck E. Cheese has a lot more lost characters so if you make any more sequels I’d love to give some more
He was scrapped because he was too similar to The Big Cheese (what Chuck was known as at the time) vocally and wasn't as marketable from what I understand. He had more than one bot though! The 2nd gen one is owned by Travis Schafer (along with the corresponding Chuck) whilst the whereabouts of his first gen one are unknown but likely scrapped unfortunately :(
5:00 I was never really creeped out by puppets but I was disgusted by them and sometimes puke out any food I've been eat. I don't know why this happens to me but the same thing used to happen with clowns too
Holy shit remember Charlotte Brawn and how fans had a theory that she got beheaded by an axe because of her reason for her removal in the peanuts comics was because of angry letters and the last angry letter she got had a drawing of her getting axed to the head.
In Joe Barbera's autobiography, "My Life In Toons," he says that Fred Flintstone Jr. was always an idea that floated around, and they finally decided to have the Flintstones' kid, and he left the writer's room and went to the phone to tell the toy people. Toy company executive: "Is it a boy or a girl?" Joe: "Big strong boy! Fred Flintstone Jr! 'A chip off the ol' rock!'" Toy Guy: "Aw. That's a shame. If it was a girl we could sell so many dolls of her." Joe: "Did I say a boy? I meant to say girl, and her name is... ... ...Pebbles."
The fact you managed to put elh and the fucking noid both in the thumbnail alone are honestly what made me click on this vid, and it was a great watch ngl.
If you make a Part 4, a character I feel would be worth mentioning is Crusty the Cat from Chuck E. Cheese. He was part of the original crew, which was called the Pizza Time Players, acted as Chuck E's straight man, and was described as "the 'Cat's Meow' in singing and joke telling". However, he only ever appeared at the first location, being replaced by Mr. Munch. Despite his short life, he did receive an updated design alongside Chuck himself, as their animatronics were designed earlier than the others, and as a result were less advanced. While there have been many Chuck E. Cheese characters that have been lost, I find Crusty the most interesting due to how little time he was around, with him only lasting a year.
talking about lost characters in touhou, i can mention the entire cast of PC-98 games, except for reimu, marisa, alice and yuuka; mima being the most recurrent one lost characters in windows games (as far as i know) are: Rin Satsuki, she only have a name near character's code Layla Prismriver, she was mention in the prismriver's profile in perfect cherry blossom Youki Konpaku, he was the previous gardeneer before he desappeared, leaving it to youmu konpaku exclusive on games, Flandre Scarlet was the extra stage's boss, she wasn't appeared on games for 19 years until touhou 17.5 official release Mizuchi Miyadeguchi is a recent character in comics that have some similarities to mima, that's all i know
I actually screamed out loud when I saw the title card for Launch. I remember hearing years and years ago that the creator just forgot about her completely, and that fact is still so crazy to me. Glad she's been getting her due!
My favorite one is the little sister in boy meets world (who i don't remembers name) she was very young at the beginning, kinda disappeared, then one episode a completely different actors comes down stairs as her and they say (paraphrased) one of the family members, don't remember who"where were you?" "i was in my room a long time" then there's the factor that shawn had an asshole brother in one episode to teach him the moral that just because someone's related to you, you shouldn't put them above everyone else, and then in one of the later seasons, he meets his long lost brother who is a completely different character and he says "I've always wanted a brother"
I didn't know Elh was associated with elements til now. Maybe it would've been a boss fight to test players skills with the elements. Like, he shot water at you and you had to freeze it and send it back?
If you want an interesting and dark rabbit hole to look into, Disney has three lost characters that I've been looking into for a while. Mrs. Goof, Goof Jr, and the OG Della Duck. All three had on screen appearances and then just disappeared. Della at least came back in the 2016 reboot of Duck Tales but Goofy's wife and his first born and complete lost characters. Some even joke that Goofy accidentally killed them just before the events of Goof Troop. Its a really facinating story that I think deserves some attention.
Since we're all talking about lost characters... Catnip, Fangora, and Grinder from Hello Kitty: The only reason why I know about these 3 is because they're all from Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Adventure, they all play an big role to being mostly the antagonists or have an neutral role (Catnip and Fangora are mostly "evil", Grinder is an 50-50 if my memory is correct) and to my knowledge they never appeared anywhere else outside of Furry Tale Adventure.
Scrapped Thomas and Friends character called Barry the Rescue engine he was going to be another railway series books but got scrap because they wanna push Thomas
I'm glad you got the Lunch one right. There's this misconception that he suddenly forgot her as soon as the Saiyan arc began, but that's not the case. The confusion comes from a 2003 interview where he stated he DID forget, despite his own artwork and concepts he lent to Toei for filler scenes she appeared in early on in Z proving otherwise. So, you could say Toriyama forgot that he didn't forget Lunch LOL
I know this is for a more adult audience, but Danganronpa has a really unterest history with scrapped characters for the spinoff Ultra Despair Girls. A lot of this game was changed as development went on, like the original protagonists being scrapped, with the girl being completely cut while Haiji was made into a supporting role character and into one of the worst characters in the series. Besides that, the Hit List characters seemed to have played a bigger part at one point, besides the few that did show up. And then there were the 3 characters who were completely scrapped. Chihiro's mother, Sayaka's sister, and a character likely to become the new Junko who was a dark skinned girl with two giant side afros. Not much us known about these three or what role they would have even played in the game.
the girl character, being named Kanon Nakajima, wasn't scrapped actually, she became Leon Kuwata's cousin and is in the novel, Ultra Despair Hagakure, which you unlock when you beat Ultra Despair Girls. She's one of the main characters in it. you were are right about the character characters though. i personally would have loved to see the other Hit List characters besides the ones that we did see, but they might have cut them because of budget and/or gameplay length. I personally also would have have you find them as a side quest or something. also with Kanon, i do wish to mention that it's very much implied that she had a very, unhealthy obsession with him. like it's kinda creepy.
brooo i remember learning about this during my hugeeee obsession with danganronpa. i did tons of research on it and tried my best to find more clips of distrust existing but sadly i didnt find much, only a couple of screenshots and an execution video
Polygon man is a pretty interesting character- kinda sad the only time I've seen him was in "Obey the Walwrus" when I was 9. Nostalgic and traumatizing
Richie from "King of Queens" is another lost sitcom character. He was there for two seasons (not in every episode but a decent amount) then stopped appearing randomly. The real reason is because the actor left for a different show but it's still weird that he just vanished. They also had a dog on that show that was there for a couple episodes and then was never seen again
Hey Zeepsterd, I have four suggestions, two are transformers characters 1. Skids g1, he’s a character from transformers, there are different versions of skids, I’m mostly referring to the G1 version, not the live action one which some are more familiar with, because in the original cartoon he only appeared two times, he appeared out of nowhere, and his voice was different in those two episodes he appeared in, also his toy had a weird history apparently, not as weird as another one which 2. Deceptacon Reflector: he’s a transformer that I’m pretty much sure no one‘s heard of before, he appeared in the original transformers cartoon of G1, with the point of his character being the fact that he is three robots, however they all talk the same and they’re presented as just one character, also he’s voiced by the same actor who voices Starscream, he was extremely prominent in the first season, however around the second season he would begin to be used less and less, it’s a weird thing to say, but his exclusion is a bit odd, it said that apparently he appears in the transformers movie, and he gets killed off by unicron, most likely since his toy did not come out here in America until it was a mail away order, he doesn’t get used often, and there aren’t a lot different versions of him too unlike skids, well at least ones that are well known, but he’s kind of in a similar position to launch from Dragon Ball, however his name has been changed to refraktor Mostly do his name being trademarked by something else most likely a different company. 3. Catnip, Fangora, and Grindor: i’m putting these three together since these three in particular are just nowhere in any other media of hello kitty just in this one thing and that’s about it, they were pretty prominent especially catnip in particular, these three come from hello kitty fairytale theater, fun fact: Tara Strong voice kitty in this when she was 14 years old, Fangora is Catnip’s mom also both are cats, and Grinder is the typical big strong dumb guy dog, like I said they were very prominent in that show, however after the show ended they were never seen again, none of your adaptation not the books not the games or anything 4. floorboard harry: this is an unused character from SpongeBob, This one’s probably well known case, he was going to be shown in the episode Graveyard shift Where are you will receive stuff from SpongeBob or vice versa, and in the end he will be shown to be flickering the lights, however we mostly know the episode for having Nosferatu flickering the lights, it’s likely floorboard Harry was replaced to put Nosferatu in to make it a bit funnier since most would not know who he is until now If I didn’t understand the concept I am sorry, I hope some of these will be good choices, you can give me your thoughts on this and I can help you with some of them especially the two transformers ones
I have a 2 suggestions kinda. I dont know if Vtubers count as characters but when Hololive Gen 1 was first announced, one of the characters shown by the name of Hitomi Chris. Her debut video was uploaded to TH-cam on the 3rd of June 2018. On the 25th of June 2018, hololive announced that she would be terminated due to an incident that lead to a contract breach. The contract with the artist, behind her illustration, was also terminated on the 26th of June.[1] Hitomi Chris was officially sacked from hololive and her information was removed from their website. Her channel was deleted and she hid her twitter account. Not much info about her exist and her reasons for fetting fired are mainly just speculation among the vtuber community but the most common theory about why she was sacked so quickly has something to do with her either lieing about her age on the application or the see was in a relationship with her artist despite herself being underage. The other character I wanted to mention was a WWE characters named Vade Hanson who despite haveing a promo realesed for him (its still on TH-cam), never actually ended up in the ring. Vade, supposedly played by a British wrestler who had previously competed in the company's Florida developmental arm - was all set for a massive angle involving The Undertaker. For some reason, though, execs ultimately went cold on the idea of putting a completely unknown rookie in the ring with one of wrestling's biggest stars, and decided that The Deadman was better off facing Shawn Michaels instead.
@@johnlesher3001 Do you think you’re making a difference in the world by criticizing someone for their interests? Personally, I don’t watch VTubers, but this person does, and you should respect that, you uncooked steak.
@@Foxy02016 most likely considering Mark Calwoay (The Undertaker) useally gets say in what should be done with his character, especially with him being held with a very high level of respect by the WWE in general.
Personally, I think Elh could have been pretty cool. I really like his design, it’s simplistic yet effective, and I wish they brought him back in another Luigi’s Mansion game.
I love the idea that Fred Flinstone Jr was scrapped for the show being rush to have done and Pebbles becoming popular that quick plus Hannah-Barbera thought he would be a minor side character with minimal fame
If you do a another video on lost characters, you should include Dizzy Dave and Mischievous Mike from Horrid Henry, as they made frequent appearances in the books, but when it came to the cartoon, they never appeared even once, not even as background cameos.
if you ever make another video on this topic can you talk about Profily from Battle For Dream Island they've been in the show ever since the series began but nobody noticed them, I think they perfectly fit in the subject of Lost Characters
In terms of lore, yes, they are a forgotten character. And that's saying something, considering even The Announcer forgot about them. But as far as I know, his original debut was rather recent, as a reccomened character. So techinically, they're not a lost character, but are in the BFB storyline
One other character I just thought of was Morph in the original X-Men cartoon. For the most part, he's an X-Men character that even I don't know. What's even funnier is that the X - Men writers knew this, and thought to put him in the 90s cartoon as a throwaway character. After his death, he only returns as an antagonist to which is only significant because it marks one of Deadpool's first appearances on TV.
Well first off great vid as usual, i don’t comment on these often but i might have a suggestion or two Few months ago I bothered rewatching Ben 10 (the og series) bc hey i was drawing it, and season 2 has Ghostfreak as it’s big villain, but he has these three cohorts (the mummy, the werewolf, and frankenstein monster) They’re what i like to call the Monster Trio, and all three in their debut episodes unlock transformations for Ben as they’re revealed to be aliens as well But something i noticed thats really odd is despite the werewolf and mummy being important parts in the show, they just straight up disappear without any mention post-finale Sure we can assume they died (one got caught in an explosion the other got sucked into a void) but honestly? Characters in that series survive some impossible stuff so it always felt farfetched to me Doesn’t help that the transformations ben gained from them only appear once-twice in the og show and come back a very small few times in Omniverse. And even odder is the frankenstein fella (Viktor) appears in just about every show as an occasional side-villain. Hell ghostfreak has a completely different werewolf and mummy lackey in Omniverse, during an arc all about the planet they’re all from It’s weird y’know? How come those two never return yet Viktor here stayed prominent?
I have 2 characters to suggest, both from the freezeflame22 universe Messager: Messenger was a main character in the old The Koopa Kids series. He was Bowser's messenger and would be in charge of meetings in The Koopa Kids, as well as being best friends with Kamek. He was notorious for crying all the time and getting upset over minor things. Unfortunately for him, he perished in the series finale, saving Kamek from an attack from Pyro and Zero. He made an incredibly minor cameo in the third episode of the Bowser's Koopalings series, where he was ran over by Bowser whilst drunk driving. This cameo was included to show fans that Messenger would not be returning in the series Much like most of the characters in TKK, FreezeFlame22 found Messenger to be a very flat and boring character in retrospect, due to his constant crying being his only real source of comedy, or dialogue at all for that matter. Messenger's tombstone was seen in It's A Not So Wonderful Life, with the caption "He ain't coming back, sorry." The tombstone showcased his year of birth as 2010, as a reference to when Freeze initially created the character before he started making TH-cam videos. Hayley Grey: Hayley Grey was Grace's older sister and was in a relationship with Logan who first debuted in Mr Mitchell. vs Mr Gray. However considering the fact that she only ever appeared in the season 3 episodes, and the fact that she barley has any importance, it's likely she will be removed in the remaster.
The Imperfects from the video game "Marvel Nemesis" were original characters created by EA for the game, and were even planned to show up in the official comics, but after the game's commercial failure, they were quickly forgotten about, except for an accidental cameo by member Hazmat (aka Keith Kilham) in an issue of the series "Marvel Universe vs the Avengers", where he was accidentally drawn in a scene where an Avenger of the same codename (aka Jennifer Takeda) would've appeared.
In the Jackbox game Fakin It there's a series of different task types that are all assigned to different colored characters that the game cycles through. However one character seen in the cycling as well as the start screen, instructions, promotional materials, etc is an Orange guy who otherwise has no presence in the game itself. Another Jackbox game, Split the Room, themes itself as a twilightzone parody with various strange things floating in the void. One of these things is the Orange guy, poking fun at him being unused.
i have one lost character, in megaman 1 for the nes, there was suppost to be 7 robot master, however one was cut, and that was bond man. Due to lack of storage on the cartridge.
@@zeepsterd 1:33 whats also interesting is that you mention something about ice and fire being in the game files and where are the Hell Valley Sky Trees located? in Shiverburn galaxy. the level that focuses on ice and fire. coincidence? i think not.
When I think of lost characters I think of Angela Cross from Ratchet & Clank. She debuted in the second game Going Commando where she was a major character but she only made a small cameo apperance in the third game and then afterwards she completely vanished. She like Ratchet was also a Lombax but in the Future trilogy It was stated that Ratchet is the last lombax (In his dimension anyway, it's complicated); A Crack in Time would later state that she had dissapeared. The reason she's gone is that the Insomniac devs found her to be difficult to write for and didn't know what to do with her after that so used the "last lombax" plotline as a excuse to ditch her and they have since made her a running gag.
Thanks for clarifying the fact that part of the list is filled with fake characters. Also, a theory on L. The rumor about the stone in Super Mario 64 that says L is Here, now makes more sense. Nintendo was making Luigi's Mansion right afterwards. And, my favorite version of Pixel (Goggi Mega) and Jives is from Glanni Glæpur i Latibær (The 2nd play.)
ngl I was confused seeing happy appy in the thumbnail- I never forgot about him, since there's a shit ton of narrations on yt, which is how I discovered it.
I remember actually seeing Happy Appy on Nickelodeon. He wasn't much more than a character that would do short bumpers between shows. I think I remember the character interviewing kids at a playground or a school, then saying what the next show was. I don't think there was an actual show with the character.

And the noid returned!

Finally, someone talked about Judy Winslow leaving Family Matters and what happened. Thank you
It’s a heartbreaking story that had to be told.
I've seen insults to injuries, but THIS is just cruel. especially not inviting someone who's been around for Four Seasons
I feel bad for Jaimee Foxworth being treated like that

Oh my god, you're right!!! As an avid Adventure Time fan, I never really noticed this lol
@@tallussy_hallussy glad to hear that:D
@@Otis_. :)))

I knew I saw hamsters in a trailer for that movie!

Lost sitcom characters are funny to me cause they never expected anyone to remember or care like the original aunt Vivian or that one cousin from family matters that disappeared with no explanation
They underestimated their audience, which is something showrunners should avoid.

I swear, the endings of all your lost character videos are always so unnerving.
That episode of One Minute Melee is the only reason why I know Polygon Man
when I heard of that one minute melee episode I immediately thought "is he from another platform fighter?"

While Urkel soaked up all the fame he could in his moment of glory
This kinda reminds me of what happened with Jeffy from SML. Jeffy became such a popular character with Logan’s younger audience, fan favourites like Black Yoshi or Woody have rarely or almost NEVER appeared in the series again, whilst Jeffy became the main focus and mascot of SML
Unlike Urkel, however, who despite what his popularity ended up doing, remains a loved character, Jeffy has grown to become one of the most, if not, THE most hated TH-cam character, of all time

There was a scene where all the neighbors we're sitting on the couch they were talking about something but I don't really remember there was a shot which showed a fourth neighbor we dont ever get the fourth neighbor's name feeling shot of him we got was his red t-shirt fans decided to name this character "todd" the end

a character that comes to mind for me is Tarclops from Skylanders.
I once read every single Happy Appy episode. I still remember a lost episode that got deleted, it was were Happy got sent straight to heck.

Hey I’ve got a lost character for you from Chuck E. Cheese
Crusty the cat was a cat animatronic who only appeared in the first location.

Toy company executive: "Is it a boy or a girl?"
Joe: "Big strong boy! Fred Flintstone Jr! 'A chip off the ol' rock!'"
Toy Guy: "Aw. That's a shame. If it was a girl we could sell so many dolls of her."
Joe: "Did I say a boy? I meant to say girl, and her name is... ... ...Pebbles."

*Funky Fact:* Plankton almost was gonna be a forgotten character (maybe), as he was supposed to be a one off.

Thank you for the suggestion!
the girl character, being named Kanon Nakajima, wasn't scrapped actually, she became Leon Kuwata's cousin and is in the novel, Ultra Despair Hagakure, which you unlock when you beat Ultra Despair Girls.

Skids g1, he’s a character from transformers, there are different versions of skids, I’m mostly referring to the G1 version, not the live action one which some are more familiar with, because in the original cartoon he only appeared two times, he appeared out of nowhere, and his voice was different in those two episodes he appeared in, also his toy had a weird history apparently, not as weird as another one which
3. Catnip, Fangora, and Grindor: i’m putting these three together since these three in particular are just nowhere in any other media of hello kitty just in this one thing and that’s about it, they were pretty prominent especially catnip in particular, these three come from hello kitty fairytale theater, fun fact: Tara Strong voice kitty in this when she was 14 years old, Fangora is Catnip’s mom also both are cats, and Grinder is the typical big strong dumb guy dog, like I said they were very prominent in that show, however after the show ended they were never seen again, none of your adaptation not the books not the games or anything
4. floorboard harry: this is an unused character from SpongeBob, This one’s probably well known case, he was going to be shown in the episode Graveyard shift Where are you will receive stuff from SpongeBob or vice versa, and in the end he will be shown to be flickering the lights, however we mostly know the episode for having Nosferatu flickering the lights, it’s likely floorboard Harry was replaced to put Nosferatu in to make it a bit funnier since most would not know who he is until now
If I didn’t understand the concept I am sorry, I hope some of these will be good choices, you can give me your thoughts on this and I can help you with some of them especially the two transformers ones
Pretty good video:D I was quite invested. Might draw the noid commiting some epic hate crimes
The contract with the artist, behind her illustration, was also terminated on the 26th of June.[1]
Hitomi Chris was officially sacked from hololive and her information was removed from their website.
For some reason, though, execs ultimately went cold on the idea of putting a completely unknown rookie in the ring with one of wrestling's biggest stars, and decided that The Deadman was better off facing Shawn Michaels instead.
why do you like fake gamer girls
@@johnlesher3001 Do you think you’re making a difference in the world by criticizing someone for their interests? Personally, I don’t watch VTubers, but this person does, and you should respect that, you uncooked steak.
You can keep like that stuff if you want I'm not going to stop but I'm still going to vomit
I supposed by the Undertaker being involved that the story was supposed to be that he was killed?
Love content like this. Night Mind got me started and Nexpo made me addicted
if you ever make another video on this topic can you talk about Profily from Battle For Dream Island
they've been in the show ever since the series began but nobody noticed them, I think they perfectly fit in the subject of Lost Characters
Been following you for years dude, so cool to see you getting bigger
The Märklin Engine from Thomas the Tank Engine is an interesting one.
thank you for the suggestion!
Well first off great vid as usual, i don’t comment on these often but i might have a suggestion or two
Few months ago I bothered rewatching Ben 10 (the og series) bc hey i was drawing it, and season 2 has Ghostfreak as it’s big villain, but he has these three cohorts (the mummy, the werewolf, and frankenstein monster)
They’re what i like to call the Monster Trio, and all three in their debut episodes unlock transformations for Ben as they’re revealed to be aliens as well
But something i noticed thats really odd is despite the werewolf and mummy being important parts in the show, they just straight up disappear without any mention post-finale
Sure we can assume they died (one got caught in an explosion the other got sucked into a void) but honestly? Characters in that series survive some impossible stuff so it always felt farfetched to me
Doesn’t help that the transformations ben gained from them only appear once-twice in the og show and come back a very small few times in Omniverse. And even odder is the frankenstein fella (Viktor) appears in just about every show as an occasional side-villain. Hell ghostfreak has a completely different werewolf and mummy lackey in Omniverse, during an arc all about the planet they’re all from
It’s weird y’know? How come those two never return yet Viktor here stayed prominent?
12:52 i tought the noid was from family guy
I feel like Mighty and Ray from Segasonic could also be considered lost characters.
I have 2 characters to suggest, both from the freezeflame22 universe
Messager: Messenger was a main character in the old The Koopa Kids series.
This cameo was included to show fans that Messenger would not be returning in the series
Much like most of the characters in TKK, FreezeFlame22 found Messenger to be a very flat and boring character in retrospect, due to his constant crying being his only real source of comedy, or dialogue at all for that matter.
The Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects game is actually good.
Kimiyo Hoshi is a DC character, specifically the second Dr. Light (the Japanese woman, not the rapist).
@@nicholasfarrell5981 My bad, I'll correct it.
One of these things is the Orange guy, poking fun at him being unused.
please im begging you keep milking this lost character series I love it and I cant get enough of it
Judy's story is really sad, the producers were really disrespectful towards her by firing her like that.
I didn't know about Fred Jr until this video thank you for telling me about Fred's son
You’re welcome 😎
Happy appy I’ve actually studied on this character and it was to creepy
i have one lost character, in megaman 1 for the nes, there was suppost to be 7 robot master, however one was cut, and that was bond man. Due to lack of storage on the cartridge.
I think you should cover Julius the cat
Hey guys, I'm going to McDonald's to find the most famous lost character, my dad. You guys want anything while I'm there?
The most mysterious character of all.
Could you get some milk while you're there?
@@LightballDVG Yeah sure, but that only comes with a meal. Do you want a meal too? If not I can get a meal and give you the milk
@@benisoreilly869 Sure, could you also get an ice cream cone?
@@LightballDVG ice cream machine broke
Elh reminds me alot of the Hell Valley Sky Trees from Super Mario Galaxy, is that just me?
I was thinking about that!
@@zeepsterd 1:33 whats also interesting is that you mention something about ice and fire being in the game files
and where are the Hell Valley Sky Trees located? in Shiverburn galaxy. the level that focuses on ice and fire.
coincidence? i think not.
Now I don’t know about you but my favorite lost character jimmy from The College Dropout who got forgotten 🥺 #bringbackjimmy

Man I loved that creepypasta
My favourite thing about happy appy was definately mr.enter's writing credits on it
I wish PlayStation allstars would get a remake for the ps4 or 5
No way I fricking love Launch
ngl I was confused seeing happy appy in the thumbnail- I never forgot about him, since there's a shit ton of narrations on yt, which is how I discovered it.
Wtf the lazy town I grew up with was a reboot this whole time!
I remember actually seeing Happy Appy on Nickelodeon. He wasn't much more than a character that would do short bumpers between shows. I think I remember the character interviewing kids at a playground or a school, then saying what the next show was. I don't think there was an actual show with the character.
