Hey I’m a huge fan of you and I was wondering if you could put this lost character that I have been asking for you to cover.Koopa kid was a character the Mario party franchise but he went missing after Mario party top 100.
OMG, those Pink Panther pops... Ok, back in the mid 80's Pink Panther got a huge boost in popularity. The old cartoons were regularly played on TV and they even premiered a new show called "Pink Panther ands Sons". I was obsessed with the Pink Panther at the time. I even had sheets from that show. I had a Pink Panther 4th birthday cake. So, the flavor? I do believe it was good ol' generic tutti frutti. Basically the flavor of "bubble gum", which is possibly why so few remember it. I had several of them, and even though I was a little fart at the time it definitely stands out in my mind. It'd be fun if they brought them back. That, and the vampire ones they had to stop making because the dye changed kids' poo colors and it freaked parents out. Yes, really. I had the Mario Shastas too. Princess Toadstool cherry was the best one, but I love cherry flavor so I'm biased. The Yoshi apple was bland. It was like it didn't have enough apple-y flavor. Now, the Luigi Berry wasn't bad at first, but it had a really bad aftertaste, probably caused by the blue dye in it. Man, thanks for this blast from the past. Hope your video reaches those likes!
No matter what anyone says. Being a kid in the 2000s was the golden age. You has amazing TV shows, great toys, the birth of well known gaming franchises, food, commercials, just everything. 😪
Looking at the Yu-Gi-Oh popsicle one made me realize that more character popsicles should take the approach of basing the ice cream off a symbol or object related to the character rather than their face, would certainly make for less cursed results.
Someone else talked about it, though and mentioned that the bad faces are basically free advertising, because people will take pictures of it and show their friends and people online how cursed it looks, and then those people will want to get one for themselves.
Does anyone remember Cereal Straws? They were discontinued but man I remember when I was younger 8 begged my mom to buy Cereal Straws the slogan was fun to say to: Just dip in sip sip! Munch munch! Dip sip munch!
I did post on their Facebook page about it and they told me that as much as they wish they could bring back the Mario sodas, their contract with Nintendo expired ages ago. Supposedly, the Shasta company still brings it up from time to time (or so they said in what they told me) but apparently, licensing is a long and tedious process
I remember the jimmy neutron ice pop. Imagine like a flat version of cherry coke but more mild. It was the only ice pop that was ever that flavor. Also the pokeberry poptart was absolutely amazing. so much nostalgia unlocked in this video, very well put together thank you so much! looking to see the next upload!
Born in 95 and wow! The Pokémon Poptart's. particularly the first one shown, Heck just the mere mention of Pokémon and Poptart's in the same instant sent such a jolt of through my brain. Like i actually remember them now and hadn't for years. Thanks for jogging the memory of such a time of innocence and happiness in my life. ^^
the one snack i’ll never forget was the Pringle’s Pizza Stix. my god i could eat five packs in one sitting. my family was obsessed with those. they just stopped making them one day…so depressing
I never even knew about the burger and guac flavors, since I was too young to buy my own snacks. But now I actually want to try them. I hope they're brought back someday. By the way, does anyone remember Kissables and Vertigo candy bars (which I also haven't tried). There were also these things called Hershey Swoops. They really need to come back so I can taste them.
If you think that’s funky, wait till you learn about discontinued foods/flavors from around the world! From my personal experiences, I remember a tropical flavored Mirinda drink called, Mirinda Exotic, that was sold in Kuwait back in 2003 and it was delicious. It was around for a limited time and never came back at any point. There was 7Up Mint that came out in like 2005 and I only drank it once, and it tasted like toothpaste! (I don’t think I finished that drink bcs of how bad it tasted). Then there was Fanta Watermelon, but for some reason it was called, “Fanta Melon”, and it was only sold in Saudi Arabia between 2003-2004, and it was delicious too. I remember my parents buying like three 24-pc cases of these and bringing em home during a roadtrip.
It's hilarious to me that you used the Jimmy Neutron popsicle for the thumbnail. I had it once as a kid and loved the cola flavor it had since then I'd always try to find it but was never able to again and would never hear others mention it when discussing these so to now see it as the face for this topic feels very appropriate. Great vid btw. :)
Thanks for the delivery zeep man, Personal lost food story here: I think it was around 2007 it was a promotion for an ice age film, there were these popsicles each of them had what I assumed was a candy egg corn, my memory was fuzzy so I’m not sure if I actually ate it.
I hope we get a part 2 or even a series, my favorite lost snacks have to be the wazoo bar, nickelodeon slime dunk & wonla donutz. My God were those the best sweets ive had in my life.
I surprised in the doritoes section you didn't mention doritoes 3d, I know it technically got brought back but everybody who had them said they didn't taste the same and were considerably worse, even though me and my family liked them, though they tasted like bougals which I love
There was a Pink Panther popsicle in the mid 2000s to promote the movie, too! I remember because I had it! I want to say it was, like, pink lemonade flavored but I only had it once or twice so my memory's fuzzy EDIT: I found a picture of the packaging and it was cherry apparently.
I do remember the Pokémon Pop Tarts. Those were my favorite as a kid, not so much the 2nd generation, I don’t remember that but from the original 1st generation, I even have the toys still that came from the box lol. Never had the Star Wars one but that flavor sounds amazing.
If you do another one of these you gotta talk about the LEGO waffles. As a kid I’d try and stack them together because they were LEGO shaped. It did not work despite the commercials promoting the idea of building stuff. Great video!
Boy oh BOY do I love special edition food. The crazy thing is some food we eat now could be Special edition and we won't know if until it's discontinued!
The one thing I specifically remembered in the 2010s that our middle school had a vending machine and the most popular chip brand was the Doritos Late Night Cheeseburger flavor. You can defiantly taste the pickle more than the rest (maybe a hint of mustard?) but i greatly loved the flavor, at the time $1 per bag was very much worth it and i had like 2 bags a day. When you meet those weirdo guys who praise it to no end, I am defiantly that guy because once you eat the burger chip you need more.
Another discontinued Poptart that I feel not too many people know about or remember was the Oatmeal Delights Poptart. I doubt many people even tried it because it sounds gross, but it was really just a strawberry jelly (they also had a maple brown sugar one) and the outside had oats and a little frosting on it. I had those for breakfast before school and man I miss them. They were so good! Also, this video was in my recommended, so it’s the first time I’ve watched your channel, and I’m deff subscribing :) Really love your content!
Whenever I was allowed I would always buy the Sailor Moon popsicle. So much so the ice cream man was nice enough to give me 3 of the ice cream stickers that I still have til this day. And everytime I go to the fleamarket I would always check the ice cream trucks to see if sailor moon ever return.
I remember the X-13D Doritos being insanely similar to a cheeseburger (quite similar to a Whopper from BK). Particularly heavy on the mustard and pickles flavors, with unsettling, distinct beef undertones. I thought they were pretty gross, but I could see some people loving them.
holy shit i had this charmander figure as a kid and i had NO idea where it came from and i've been trying to find it for YEARS.... turns out it's the exact charmander figure that came in these boxes of pop tarts 😅 i was a year old when those pop tarts were being sold, no wonder i had no idea where i got it lol
Do you guys remember the shake em up fries at Burger King? Where if you want to have your fries covered in cheese, you had to shake the bag. The only reason I remember this was because one time they had Nintendo toys that were being sold during that promotion, and I remember wanting those toys so bad as a kid.
dude i remember the pop tart adds that would just pop up randomly and now looking back at them it brings back so many old memories of my childhood back in like 2015-2017
I remember a Bart Simpson branded kid's "juice" box that I got a whole bunch of one summer when I was a kid. I cannot remember what the flavor was. I want to say something orange, maybe similar to Ecto Cooler, only not green. It had the old 1990 Bart Simpson T-shirt logo on it.
Have you ever heard about...Doritos Blue ? It was a limited edition flavor for Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, it tastes like blue corn with some sweet and mildly spicy flavor added. The bag has Blue ( the raptor ) on it and if im not mistaken it only came out in Central America, I as a Puerto Rican got the pleasure to taste it and still have the empty bag to this day ... There was also an Indoraptor one but it was sour cream and onion.
2:40 I actually used to like in apartments when I was young, and they would always have those guys in those small carts selling ice cream, snow cones or any other snack like corn in the cob, honestly, I miss having those around.
"One of the most unattainable forms of lost media, lost food" so true! It's such a tragedy when a food item is discontinued, because its not like someone can just continue to experience it if they have it once it's no longer available.
I was pretty disappointed when i watched an Episode some time after i stopped watching it where they reused the Idea of Timmy having a crush but this time as one-time character
Speaking of lost food items. Rip to the candy in a can from Graveyard of the Fireflies. They are finally discontinuing it after so many year in the market (Well, at least the most iconic version of the can that is.) Sad, because it was my sister’s favorite Candy.
I remember those pokemon poptarts. They were coveted back in first grade alongside those little cut-out mini trading cards from Lunchables for gen 1 of Pokemon. In fact, those little cut out cards were more valuable than the actual TCG at my school. Those cards ended up being banned at my school but the regular TCG didn't until way later lol. Despite those poptarts being such a basic flavor, I'd love to see them come back. I do feel cheated however now knowing they came with a figure! My mom probably kept that and gave it to my sister or cousin! lol.
I like the pringles pizza stix. I don't remember them ever doing any ads for them, and official reasons say they were discontinued for low sales, but they were so good I remember at least once eating the entire package.
a couple months ago doritos guacamole flavor was available here in iceland. they had an intresting mild guacamole and sour lime taste with a hint of cardboard
Omg those character popsicles bring back fond memories....I remember having Bubbles and Dora popsicle when I was a toddler living in Texas though I can't remember the flavors. Sadly my family moved to a small city that's cold most of the year when I was three, and we lived in an area where an ice cream truck would never go to anyway, so the only opportunity I've had since then was when we went on road trips or vacations. Haven't had one since I was a child. I still miss it! I also wish I could've tried one of those Pokemon Poptarts cus they look rad asf
New lost character: Grandad bob from bluey. So basically grandad bob AKA grandad was the grandpa of blueys dad bandit he’s apparently only in 2 episodes of bluey in granny’s or floss and the fairy tale and these two episodes have him in it but he has been gone from the series for a long time and bluey fans have thought that he might have died but in the first episode of season 3 bingo says “Good night grandad bob wherever you are!” so he might just be alive still or he’s just completely lost from the show!.
This video made me remember these weird candy brands from the early 90s, Popeye's spinach (green bubblegum strips) and Garfield paws. And a green toothpaste-like candy with Slimer from the Real Ghostbusters in it.
I remember having the Blue Bunny Ice Cream Pops with the gumball eyes every once in a while. The Sonic one is the most common one I would get. I did try out the Batman bar and The Powerpuff Girls bar.
Side Note: The Sonic bar had many changes in its color of gumball eyes and branding. It started off with using Sonic X-treme branding. Around 1999 or 2000, the branding was changed to reflect that of the Dreamcast era of Sonic (The color of the gumball eyes oddly remained unchanged). In 2003 or 2004, it was changed again to reflect that of Sonic X. This release of the bar is where that made the gumball eyes green to better match Sonic’s current design. Then it happened again in 2011, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series.
I have 2 discontinued foods that haven't been explored for their disappearance. And if you do know what happened, enlighten me, because it's haunted me for years: Lunchables All-Star Burgers ad Hot Dogs - miniature versions of the meals combined with a standard cola in a mini can and sometimes chips like Lay's. I would assume the pack-in of soda was controversial for childhood obesity, but does that also explain the food itself? Pepperidge Farm GIANT Goldfish Sandwich crackers - you take the normal shape of a Goldfish cracker, increase it by twice the size, remove the cheese, and slap either cheese or peanut butter between two of the crackers. Seemed like they just came and went in a few short years or less.
I haven’t seen the Milky Way reindeer that used to come out as snack size around Christmas… they had a more condensed nougat… I look online. Can’t find them ANYWHERE. Not just the product, but no information or reference to it ever existing. I’m assuming it’s my own Mandela effect. Any one else at ALL remember those? My sister did too, so I know I’m not crazy, but the internet is sure trying to convince me I am…
Lost media regarding food is probably the most disheartening since pictures and videos of their existence isn't enough. Not being able to taste them is the worst feeling.
The Doritos X-13D was absolutely a cheeseburger. My mom bought a few bags. My brothers and I were hemming and hawing trying to figure it out. Gave our mom one and she got it immediately. You could definitely taste the pickle which is what was throwing me off with the other flavors. The Pokémon pop-tarts were my jam. That yellow frosting is so nostalgic.
I wonder if they would ever bring back some of these lost Popsicles to mostly just for two reasons why one because some of them I never even got to try and number two because I heard my dad talking about it or something like that in my dream
Man, the Pokémon poptarts brings back memories of being completely obsessed with Pokémon as a kid. They had a cereal too that I remember liking a lot. I wish they’d bring them back at least once.
There are days where I freaking MISS the character popsicles so much I actually get a craving for them and then get depressed they aren’t around anymore. The Bugs Bunny and Snoopy ones were my favorite
i remember i first tried the guacamole doritos when i was like 10 and visiting family in mexico (the flavor was already discontinued in the US by then) they didn’t even taste like guacamole but i remember them having a strong lime flavor which i actually liked.
Man your channel is blowing up I just saw ur view count and sub count and congratulations man I’ve been subbed since that collab you did with Mars reviews. Keep up the good work man I love your content and it’s nice to see you getting the views and subscribers you deserve. You’ve inspired me congratulations man.
I’m crying that Guacamole Doritos made this list. I remember that flavor was me and my dad’s favorite back in elementary school and when the flavor went away I couldn’t eat Doritos for a while. God I miss those 😢
There are also cereals that has toys in them. I remember vaguely like a box of Koko Krunch has a toy placed in a transparent plastic where you can see therough it
Personally, i thought that Rhinoshield was a better phonecase maker. I cant decide, so lets lets the viewers of this video decide! Zeeps audience, vote which is better: Rhinoshield.. or CASETiFY?
The cheeseburger flavor Doritos were so amazing. You really could taste every ingredient on a cheeseburger in this chip. I really want them to bring them back
i fondly remember the root a&w and crush poptarts, i went to my grandma's house and got them and left them there and forgot about them, they most likely got thrown out because nobody else would want to eat it. they were alright
Its funny because im 21 and born way after the birth of the pink panther popsicle. But I remember my ice cream truck still had the sticker for that option when I was younger, I wonder if they just left it on or if they were selling very old ice creams. I remember jimmy, scooby, bubbles, tweety, and I think TMNT
When I lived in Minnesota as a kid, I remember the ice-cream truck coming around once in a while, I specifically remember the Power Puff Girls Bubbles popsicle being an option
I predict in the future Doritos will have every flavor ever sold on their website ready to be shipped. The only reason flavors are discontinued is because of low sales, but those won’t matter when you can make some in a factory, keep them in the main warehouse(s), and simply ship them off to customers who crave those niche flavors. They can order 20 bags at a time if they want. Open up a Doritos store if they really want.
I remember when I was little there were specific ice cream trucks that had the Mario and Jimmy neutron ice cream bars but they were always out of stock. Remember when ice cream bars use to cost dollar? The Spiderman bar was my favorite because of the flavor.

I do not care
Anyone remember Scooby-Doo gummy snacks

WE HAVE FOUND THE ANSWER TO WHAT THE PINK PANTHER POPSICLES TASTED LIKE.
Pink Panther tasted like lemonade. It went with the Pink gimmick.
My local walmart has some of those popsicles! Ima buy some rn
Bro wth kids having different poo colours?
Did you also have the Mario Shasta? If so, what did it taste like?
No matter what anyone says. Being a kid in the 2000s was the golden age. You has amazing TV shows, great toys, the birth of well known gaming franchises, food, commercials, just everything. 😪
Bro you’re literally saying the same shit 90s kids said 10 years ago, and we’ll see the same in another 10 years
Looking at the Yu-Gi-Oh popsicle one made me realize that more character popsicles should take the approach of basing the ice cream off a symbol or object related to the character rather than their face, would certainly make for less cursed results.

Just dip in sip sip! Munch munch! Dip sip munch!
They came back recently. I've seen them in BoxLunch anyway.
They just started selling these again!!
I would personally love to see the Sonic Ice Cream get a retail release.
that would be so friggin' epic.
I think I saw the retail once
@@Joshuaisnotinsane23 WHERE
@@GAYWORM1215 I think it was a very long time ago
I have spotted them at retail before. It has been awhile though.
Personally I think they should bring back the Shasta Mario drinks for like some promotion for the Mario movie that would be great
That would actually be really cool!
It would be fun. I'd like to see how they stack up to my memories of them. 😆
I've personally never tried them, so I'm curious to see what they taste like!
chris pratt flavor

I feel the same way; I didn't know I had even forgotten those boxes, but I have a hazy memory of eating them.
yeah that first version was a pure nostalgia hit
the one snack i’ll never forget was the Pringle’s Pizza Stix. my god i could eat five packs in one sitting. my family was obsessed with those. they just stopped making them one day…so depressing
AND NO! they did NOT taste like the pringles pizza chips!!!!! completely different!
I USED TO LOVE THEM SO MUCH
Those cheeseburger Doritos were delicious and you actually did taste the lettuce in it. I totally actually forgot about them existing
I never even knew about the burger and guac flavors, since I was too young to buy my own snacks. But now I actually want to try them. I hope they're brought back someday.

Pokémon Poptarts sound amazing, but for part 2 you should also list the infamous 2002 tie in Spider-Man pop tart as well.
Found your channel less than a week ago and I’m already excited to see more of what you upload. Keep up the great work!!
Welcome aboard!

Toadstool* (As Princess Peach went by at the time). And I don't blame your sister. Yoshi Apple was legendary!!!!!
Boy oh BOY do I love special edition food. The crazy thing is some food we eat now could be Special edition and we won't know if until it's discontinued!

I definitely remember eating those pokemon pop tarts. Something about the colors of the boxes when I was a small kid made them desirable.
The one thing I specifically remembered in the 2010s that our middle school had a vending machine and the most popular chip brand was the Doritos Late Night Cheeseburger flavor.

The only reason I remember this was because one time they had Nintendo toys that were being sold during that promotion, and I remember wanting those toys so bad as a kid.

"One of the most unattainable forms of lost media, lost food" so true! It's such a tragedy when a food item is discontinued, because its not like someone can just continue to experience it if they have it once it's no longer available.
for lost characters:
basically the full old cast of fairly odd parents:
- AJ & Chester
- Trixie (& Veronica)
- Tootie
I was pretty disappointed when i watched an Episode some time after i stopped watching it where they reused the Idea of Timmy having a crush but this time as one-time character

YES THEY WERE SO GOOD
The burger Doritos remind me of those taco Tostitos that taste like not only the shell and the beef, but cheese, lettuce, etc. they're pretty good!
Zeepsterd fans:
Oh good another "lost stuff" video 😊
Zeepsterd enjoyer:
WHERE IS THE NEW KEEPING IT WEEZER VIDEO!!?
At least the spongebob character ice cream bar survived. You can get them in places like gas station.
a couple months ago doritos guacamole flavor was available here in iceland. they had an intresting mild guacamole and sour lime taste with a hint of cardboard
And a green toothpaste-like candy with Slimer from the Real Ghostbusters in it.
still waiting for peanut butter toast crunch, I will fight to stay alive until it is back on the shelves
Those Pokémon pop tarts were bomb. Those sprinkles were everything. 💛
PEPPERJACK DORITOS!!! BRING THEM BACK!!!!
I have 2 discontinued foods that haven't been explored for their disappearance. And if you do know what happened, enlighten me, because it's haunted me for years:
Lunchables All-Star Burgers ad Hot Dogs - miniature versions of the meals combined with a standard cola in a mini can and sometimes chips like Lay's.
Thinking back to the Pokémon pop tarts and seeing them in stores makes me feel so damn old lol
yeah us 90s babies are getting up there, and with good memories of the past
I remember the Snoopy Ice Cream, Wonder Ball, and the Pokemon Poptarts. Seriously, bring those three back.
The Lays BLT chips NEED to make a comeback
Shasta tasted like fountain versions of cola. Their cherry and lemon where also leaps better than cokes versions. way less synthetic flavor.
Doritos taco explosion mix is a flavor i would eat all the time! Its hands down the best snack ive ever had and i wish they would come back!
There are days where I freaking MISS the character popsicles so much I actually get a craving for them and then get depressed they aren’t around anymore. The Bugs Bunny and Snoopy ones were my favorite
yeah! bugs was my favorite one too
It's awesome how you use the aquatic Neptune footage for the SpongeBob popsicles
I collect Luigi merchandise and that Shasta can is one of the more elusive things left on my “Most Wanted” checklist
Yo!! I hollered aloud when I saw the Guacamole Doritos! Those were the BEST.
i remember i first tried the guacamole doritos when i was like 10 and visiting family in mexico (the flavor was already discontinued in the US by then) they didn’t even taste like guacamole but i remember them having a strong lime flavor which i actually liked.
Definitely agree about the commercials. They were weird and out there, but they made the products look fun. I miss fun.
Weird. I remember I would get the pink panther popsicle every time the ice cream came, but I don't remember the flavor.
I keep watching Zeepsterd videos over and over again..
My go to character popsicle was the super mario bros bar. It was always so good, it makes me sad that it doesn't seem to be in production anymore.
2:32 i remember eating these peppa pig popsicles when i was around 6, the face would also be a bit messed up
Man your channel is blowing up I just saw ur view count and sub count and congratulations man I’ve been subbed since that collab you did with Mars reviews. Keep up the good work man I love your content and it’s nice to see you getting the views and subscribers you deserve. You’ve inspired me congratulations man.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I’m crying that Guacamole Doritos made this list. I remember that flavor was me and my dad’s favorite back in elementary school and when the flavor went away I couldn’t eat Doritos for a while. God I miss those 😢
You should make a Doritos exclusive video on all the weird flavors
11:42 they still have them in the uk and they just taste like slightly out of date avocado
I wish they brought back the hot wing and blue cheese dorritos, the mixed bag idea was smart imo
One of the pop tarts I miss the most is the Grinch pop tarts and Grinch Eggo waffles from 2000.
I remember when I was little there were specific ice cream trucks that had the Mario and Jimmy neutron ice cream bars but they were always out of stock. Remember when ice cream bars use to cost dollar? The Spiderman bar was my favorite because of the flavor.
