Yours is the first tutorial I've seen that explained how to open and close these kinds of clamps. Thank you. Geeks tend to be really bad at describing what they're doing to people who don't already know.

I learned the hard way and broke a camera module before I knew about that.

THANK YOU omg i've been looking for this everywhere. Most tutorials just assume that you already have some experience, I only got more confused the more I watched.

Hi, Idk if you're still there but I wanted to ask you what OS are you using? Because in the OS I have, in the interfacing options there's a "legacy camera" option and not "camera"

Hello, I followed your video and everything works for me. If I now want to use the camera for a video call in the browser, the camera is not found. Although I have enabled it in the settings. What could this be?

Very nice. I was wondering about using this feature to take pictures as many as possible from products passing in a conveyor. Do you know how many pics/minute can it take? Thank you.

The snapshot functionality is fairly limited. You might want to take a video and then decompose it into frames.

In my case, the connections are correct and the red LED on the camera turns on, but still the OS cannot detect the camera.
Is it possible that the connector is faulty?

Unfortunately this is completely useless, because no one needs it to take a picture or record a video. For the last 5 years I've looked for a program that can display the video feed in real time to the HDMI or Stream it. While I've manage to stream the video its so degraded, lagging and the fame rates are between 2 and 5 FPS...Raspberry PI like every other ARM SBC are lagging so far behind that in a few more years small APU x86 will be small, and power efficient and and cheap enough to replace this market with a fully functional PC...Raspberry PI needed better graphics.
