There are countless normal human beings who can sing better than her. she doesn’t even reach the level of an average normal high school choir. Not sure we can say the same about Taeyeon, Billie Eilish, even Taylor Swift.

In Jpop the training system isn't the same as in Kpop so I doubt she had any formal training before. Go listen to her AKB48 and HKT48 songs she sounded good back then. I truly think she's just scared now especially after all the hate and death threats she has received after Coachella and it's because she is scared that she doesn't sing out making her sound worse.

However, the problem is that most of LE SSERAFIM's songs are written for altos, which is too deep for Sakura vocal range. This has caused her voice to break while singing, and it is damaging her voice in general. Videos of her crying while singing and having voice cracks have circulated, earning her a lot of hate from people.
