I just want to add- make sure that your primer and foundation/concealer have the same base!! If you use a water based primer under a silicone based foundation or vice versa, your skin might look patchy and dry. This tip helped me a lot so I wanted to share ❤
LOVE IT TY❤️
Thank you ☺️
pov u watched jessica vu's video lol
How do you find out what base it has? There’s like a million things in the ingredients list.
i still didn't get my foundation shade!! i need to make my skin tone even😭
1. Toner pads for hydration(!) to prep your skin
2.Primer with more liquidy texture
3.Apply thin layers of foundation with spatula
4.Stick with one colour, don't mix cool tone and warm tone
5. The more darker, the more closer to the corner
6. Apply glitter in the inner corner of the eye
7. Use eyeshadow to draw your eyeliner wings before you go with eyeliner
8. Open your eyes wide, apply a generous amount at the inner corner and then just go with the rest of the eyelid
9.To fix wing just smudge
10. To draw lower eyelid, use lighter brown and apply it on the inner bottom corner
11. Then you continue to the 2/3 of your eye and then draw straight line for the rest till the intersection with the wing
12. For aegyosal use something close to your skin colour, smile and find the line
13.For the glitter of aegyosal use aegyosal maker
14. #1 Find mascara that works best for you( Etude curl fix works best for weak lashes)
15.Heat your curler
16.Keep your browns lighter than your hair colour
17.Longer than eyeliner
18.Apply consiler on tgw centre of your face to make your face appear smaller
19.Overline the cupid bow, lift up the edges
omg thank u so muchhhh 😭
no moisturizer after toner pad???
wait koreans dont use setting/fixing spray and fixing/setting powder????

You girls should try and not give up until you have the look 100% ready! You might look weird if you don't trust the process lol
Her eyes are so pretty
What I learned was LESS IS MORE. It’s the power of artistic illusion. The bolder the illusion, the more of artsy/theatrical/exaggerated look you get, the subtler the illusion, the more real it looks.
I don't wear make-up at all, I'm just watching this to figure out how to draw K-pop idols properly because I really struggle drawing make-up looks.. seeing a breakdown like this, I now know how to build up my drawings🥰
You don’t have to announce the no makeup part. Makes it sound like you just used her to learn some tips and don’t think her work or wearing makeup has value. Just saying you should be a little careful about how you come across
@@Nothereforit174 The whole video was made for people to learn tips… plus they didn’t even say they don’t wear makeup in a spiteful way so what’s your deal?
@@Nothereforit174I think they were just saying that because if you don’t wear makeup and draw people who do as an artist it’s really hard to capture them properly so the makeup tips help them to draw them more accurately despite not wearing makeup themselves. The only person that they’re comment is coming off rude to is yourself.

We love a queen that doesn’t gatekeep, I learned so many tips from this!
Well I love it when Black queer colloquialisms aren’t appropriated for the most needless reasons like you getting makeup tips and declaring someone a queen. But on another note, don’t mind my sarcasm too much, just saying it’s not gatekeeping to not share information people don’t need just because you can. That’s an entitled version of the world that privileged people started using that took it out of of its original serious context where people are blocked from opportunities that they’ve earned by other refusing to make space for them or insisting on having a monopoly
@@Nothereforit174 Imagine getting so upset by someone using "Queen" as a complement. Language doesn't belong to anyone. Words are used to express ideas. Community exclusive words get used by more people and then it becomes mainstream. Then eventually falls out of use. Get a life, touch some grass and get off your phone.

Jooshica, can you do a basic male kpop makeup for guys? Love your full-on stage makeup covers, but would love to see more fundamentals guy stuff
Hey there ! I recommend you to watch her video that is called “Half kpop male & female makeup” and you can just follow along with the kpop male one ^^
@@angelie.elenaa thank you I will revisit that one!
I LOVE THE "BAD" AND THE "PROPER WAY" EXAMPLES!! It's been hell trying to explain to some men why I think a makeup looks bad and I finally have something to help me. Even though unfortunately, some of them still think it looks the same lollll
Can we just take a second to admire how stunning she is with 0 makeup 😍
Btw, for anyone who wants to know the word Jooshica didn’t know how to explain in English, 부담스러워 in the Korean language means kinda like “overwhelming”. Also, I love your makeup tutorials so much Jooshica!!! ❤😊
GIRL YOU ARE SO PERFECT!! I THINK MAKEUP IS MAGIC!!
I WANT SO MUCH TO BE A IDOL AND YOU ARE THE GIRL MUST VISUABLE FOR A KPOP IDOL!!!
So ...in the last month of 2024, I found the makeup blogger I exactly need and want !🎉
Love this video! I love my spatula and recently I’ve ordered the fillimilli 826 spatula brush to see if it applies similarly
another tip from a former MUA: if you like to buy makeup online, always have a true purple/lavender (if your cool toned) and true orange/yellow (warm toned) blush. whenever you find a color that doesn’t suit your skin undertone, use the previous mentioned as a base blusher, so they can mix and create a different hue that suits your undertone once you applied the actual blush
you can also use other colors like a blue eyeshadow to neutralize yellowish blushes and my personal favorite, green blush for overly red colors
Note : have a foundation that matches your skin tone it will have the makeup flawless and pretty
That’s obvious and a given.
@@Nothereforit174 You would think so, but many people use foundations that are the wrong undertone or are too dark or too light for their skin and thus end up with their face one color and their neck another…
No sh1t Sherlock
@@Vanessa7831Like the one who made the video? The foundation is obviously a few shades lighter than her skin tone.

I just wanna thank you sm for this video because I changed my primer after this video (more liquid) and it changed everything! My makeup is so much better and I feel so much more confident❤
Used to watch your shorts and now I'm onto the videos and I like your shorts aready but I have to admit I appreciate how detailed you are in your videos and am glad that I did that.
Also as a French person you are pronouncing "espoir" pretty well do not worry on that !

Not to be dramatic, but this has got to be the best makeup tutorial in the world. The other sculpting tutorials ones just didn't fit my face. Thank you so much for this.
This is all so helpful! Thank you so much for actually making a video about all the hacks and what you think is best for us, most makeup tutorials aren’t as detailed as this one😭 Btw you look so gorgeous💕
The best primer (that isn't even meant to be a primer) for a flawless finish is Benton's Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel... i dont know what it is, but when I use it as a primer before makeup, my skin looks like its naturally flawless, even though its makeup.. but it just doesn't look like makeup, it just makes it look like flawless skin. i love it srsly
Finally i got korean vlogger where i can understand by listening as well as watch demonstration..... Apparently m watching so many korean make tips and skin care from korean vloggers but the problem is either they don't have subtitles or even if they add subtitle, i have to choose either to read the subtitles or watch the demonstration 😂

I love this style of makeup so much, but I don't have the features for it, so I'm just gonna live vicariously through you. I'm generally a happy clown and thrive best in punchy colors/western makeup but I've been experimenting with more toned down, "natural" looks lately so I'll be modifying some of your tips to suit my European features better

i'm working on my makeup skills for cosplay, and this was so useful!! thank you so much for sharing your knowledge
cool tone warm tone product tip was so helpful fr. i always struggle and end up mixing two tones
Im half black half white and my favorite colors to use on my skin is bright banana yellow and any shade of brown, especially the warm ones. Definitely my favorite colors of makeup :) pink also looks good on me rather than something like black because it compliments my complexion (I blush easily when im warm)
ur makeup is so gorgeous girl!! just a comment, not sure that's your shade bc its like really cool tone and bright but ur skin is like warm tone and a little darker!! otherwwise your makeup is litterally so gorgeous!! love the tips ml
Also from lilyis she said that when you prep your skin with toner pads when you wipe your skin after they were on the skin wipe them in the derection of the hairs on your face
Because then the foundation or what ever you use on your face (like as foundation) will stick to the hairs rather than the skin and will give that patchy or cakey effect
(Ayy and before yall think im hating i actuly love both of them )
as a mixed west and east asian, im so glad i got the thick lash genes 🙏
omg literally my new makeup routine i tried it and its soo pretty 🎀🎀 esp the lip combo!
Thank youuu, I've always wondered how people get their eyes to look like that and it was the eyeshadow liner up top! I've started doing it and it will definitely be my go too
The thing that i find cool is the way she used a lighter tone and it still looked perfect😱
Everything you did is so cute! Thank you for sharing with us so now we all can be makeup artists at home 😊 i especially really love that you explained the scientific makeup reasons behind Why you put What Where, and what kind of effect that has. I really loved learning about makeup with you ❤❤
the thin layer of foundation is true. I hadn’t even noticed I was doing a thicker layer until I started using the spatula. It totally changed my game. Now I wear less foundation but it looks better throughout the day. Just make sure to set it (personally I prefer setting spray)
Thank you SO much for this makeup tutorial! If it wasnt sold out, i would’ve bought your beauty box! ❤

The before and after eyebrows…amazing! Well done!
I don't know if it's just me but I noticed that her foundation shade doesn't match to her skin tone like i don't want to sound mean but i think she's using the shade which is very light than her skin tone like you can see the difference between her face and neck at 7:12 and if she is doing that then her base will end up looking grey after sometime and if you're are a makeup beginner i think it's very important to know your exact shade for your foundation and concealer and i know for a fact that she's korean and Korean people use foundation which is 4 to 5 shades lighter than their skin tone but i think she is an international makeup artist too like a lot her videos are in English like this one is also in English so i don't know exactly but i personally think using so much lighter foundation shade is wrong because it will look greyish after and i think this is not something a makeup beginner should do yeah 1 or 2 shade lighter shade is okay for brightening purposes but not so much lighter shade that will make you base look greyish after sometime
Yeah I noticed that too, I thought it was just me. It looks unnaturally light in contrast with her neck. But it's a good tutorial otherwise.
@@mika-ce1tnThe korean beauty standard is to be white as possible, that‘s why she did it..
Ok so I got your beauty box and let me tell you!!! That mascara so far is an absolute game changer!! Every single mascara I’ve worn smudges under my eyes bc I tend to blink a lot and I have oily skin so it transfers. The Etude mascara has not done that for me and I’ve worn it on top and bottom lashes!! I can take it off when I use the cleansing balm on my fingertips and like massage my lashes between my fingertips
that lash tip literally saved me omg
LITERALLY WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT HOW THE FOUNDATION ISNT HER SHADE😭
bc it's normal for east asian ppl to use lighter shades than they are, it's a beauty standard. just like how you'll see western people use borderline orange shades
@@sulcheri yeah ik but i would expect more people to point that out
